I skipped this place multiple times before. Today, I finally choose to pay it a real visit. First thing, the stuffed animals are very cute and have no defects. I’m ok with the price, because the price matches the quality of the item. The candy is ok too. At least I just need an emergency sweet treat, not something fancy. The store clerk is funny and friendly. He’s somewhat slow, but well, I don’t want fast-pace things all the time. So that’s ok with me. I bought stuffed animals at Wal-mart and other stores before, but they have defects here & there all the time(though price is low). So low price doesn’t really mean a good bargain. Overall, a very satisfied purchase. I will come back if convenient.

A mom & pop sort of Sweet Factory if you will. The only difference is a LOT of the candy here just does not move that fast. I think partially this has to do with the fact that it is a hop & a skip away from See’s Candies in one direction and Target in another. The malt balls: dark chocolate had stale malt and a lot in supply, the mint was low in supply and fresh, the peanut butter was semi-low in supply and fresh. Lesson of the day… if they have a lot of it, chances are good it is old. :( Kudos to them for the super selection on Ty beanies. Mostly branded; Yo Gabba Gabba, Disney, random animals and misc Nikelodeon characters. I got the $ 17 Brobee Ty beanie which was apx 7″ and circular. I guess it really isn’t that hard to find but in a fix, this place has a decent amount of beanie toys if that’s what you’re looking for. I found the same Brobee backpack here for $ 25 and they sell it for $ 20 in the kiosk at the Block at Orange. I keep thinking the store is small but there is just so much merchandise that it seems like it. For those with strollers, it is a tight tight squeeze to get between the aisles, in and out of the store. I have a feeling they don’t have much space in the back for storage.
