I usually drive thru, but it was lunch time and the line was long. I decided to eat in. I’m glad i did, I got to experience some really excellent service. The young man at the counter was the most genuinely kind and hard working server I have ever seen… while I was eating, I saw that he was that patient and helpful to everyone that came in. It is rare to see such good service in a fast food restaurant. He gave service as if he was working in a fine dining restaurant and making $ 50. an hour. thank you for hiring such a good employee… I asked the MGR when I left and he said the young mans name was KAI… thank you Kai…

I went here today with my friend to try their new Steakhouse Thickburger. I used a Steakhouse Thickburger coupon(Buy one Get one Free) and ordered the ½ pound. The cashier that helped me was an Asian man, I believe to be the new manager maybe? When He handed me my receipt, it said that I bought a ½ pound Steakhouse and received a BOGO1⁄3 pound Steakhouse. The free burger was supposed to be the exact same one as I ordered which meant he should have given me another ½ pound. I got back in line and spoke to him about it and he literally admitted that he messed and said«Oh yeah, I messed up. Sorry about that. At least you still get a free burger». I was like… «I’m supposed to get the same exact sized burger» and he said he couldn’t help me because it was already in the system. He said that in the most lazy tone ever with a dumb look on his face. I didn’t want to make a big deal and ask him more questions because my friend was right there. I ended up giving my friend the ½ pound and took the 1⁄3 pound for myself. This guy pissed me off. I’ve been going to this Carl’s Jr. for years because I live right next to it and then this new employee shows up and ruins my rainy day.

3 strikes and your out. I normally don’t eat fast food. but when I do its either in n out or a chicken sandwich at Carl’s jr. I always order the chicken club sandwich… the last 3 times it was wrong. First time they screwed it up they gave me a bbq chicken. second time I asked for a slice of cheddar in addition to the swiss cheese. I ended up with 2 slice of swiss and chicken was Luke warm at best and the cheese never melted. Today I ordered it the same way. with swiss and an extra slice of cheddar which I paid for. All I got was the slice of cheddar and not the swiss but was still charged for the extra cheese. 3 strikes and your out. Won’t return

I’ve been trying to eat more at home to save money(and pounds) so I hadn’t been back for a few months. I had a hectic morning and decided to run through the drive-thru this morning. I pulled up to the speaker and placed my order and it was as if I had just been there yesterday — those fabulous morning ladies remembered me and my order — and service was awesome, as always! I’ve been to a couple other fast food joints(mickey d’s, where you don’t really expect much in the way of service and the chicken joint that considers telling you ‘my pleasure’ — although all other body language indicates otherwise — is the epitome of customer service) in the past as a regular(at least twice a week, same order) for months at a time that can’t be bothered to hire or train their employees in that skill. These ladies could teach those joints a thing or two.

Carls has stepped up its game recently. Good tasting burgers for about the same price as 2012. The burger competition has motivated no doubt, but still better then 2 stars now. Not 4 stars until they bring back the Jack Daniels burger and stop asking people to pull into the front to reset their timer… thats lame

Love a great burger on the way home once in a while. Sadly this location always messes up my order. I no longer come to this Carls Jr P.S check your items in the bag && check that your order is correct in drive thru… i always get the wrong order, with the wrong wrapper && with condiments i didnt want on my burger.

This 5-star is in relation to most other fast food chains, not to Morton’s and the like. These guys are just about always friendly, the orders are usually up rather quickly — and I just found out they give teacher, student, military, senior and police/firefighter discounts! That’s pretty legit.

My God, the Karcher’s must be spinning in their graves. What was once(and long ago) a terrific fast food restaurant serving freshly made hamburgers has degenerated into the«McDonald’s» mode of pre-cooking everything and letting it sit in a tub waiting to be used, system. Once upon a time(certainly while the Karcher’s were alive) one could almost be guaranteed of a freshly broiled hamburger, tasting like it came from a BBQ grill, and served with well-proportioned amenities. NOTANYLONGER. This particular location is among the worst in the chain. The food is never hot, never fresh-tasting and is testament to the degradation of what was once one of the best fast food chains in California. As has happened to so many other restaurants, the owners believe that people will be satisfied being served cold and lousy-tasting food just as long as it is served quickly and at a somewhat reasonable price. Shame on all of us for accepting that new tenant. Those who couldn’t care less what their food looks or tastes like will continue to visit this Carl’s. As for those who do wish for something better, find another Carl’s. There are a few Carl’s left that embrace the philosophy of the Karcher’s and when you find one, stick with them. As for the others, like this one, either the owners should be bought out or the place closed for lack of(literally) good taste. What a pity. When McDonald’s tastes better… something really lousy has happened to the other fast food chains. Carl’s isn’t the only chain to succumb to this new concept of crappy tasting/cold food for a low price. Patric

I have the worst luck at Carls Jr. I purchased a large ice tea on 09−06−13 at 710 am via the drive thru. As I drank it while driving, I could feel ’ chunks’ of something solid yet slimy going down mt throat. Real nasty taste too. When I stopped my car, I took off the lid only to find dozens of these dark brown, slimy, worm like things in the bottom of my drink cup. I tried calling the store immediately, but never got through after an hour of over a dozen calls. I then called the corporate office and complained. They acted like they could care less. Worried I might get ill from this mucus like substance, I sent pics of the goo to my friend who manages a fast food restaurant. He was shocked by the pics and said that is bacterial build up from them not cleaning the tea pot for days or even weeks. He said this stuff can make a person real sick. Because I could not get any response from Carls Jr. store managment or district managment, I decided to post this review. I also included pics of the snot like wormy goo that is inside of my ice tea cup. Watch at your own risk. Its pretty gross.

Stopped in for a quick bite and they(Green Burrito) now have chicken«Street Tacos»… two for $ 2.79 or so(total was $ 3.01). I wasn’t expecting much but they were actually pretty good! I’d definitely get them again. It beat’s Carl’s Famous Star by a mile.

Spicy chicken sandwiches in the early AM are they only thing I’ve ever had. I don’t ever go inside, so I have no idea what it even looks like. I go through the drive through and eat in my car by the Wal-Mart fountain. The drive through is exactly what you’d expect from fast food. It’s not fabulous, obviously, it’s not terrible. It’s edible and after a concert or a long drive, it’s just right.

Hmm, I tried the«freshly battered» chicken breast tenders and an order of onion rings. They were battered, just not freshly, they were small and soggy, like they had been in the box for some time. I got the«large» order of 5, 2 of the 5 were more like ½ pieces. No quality control. there were 6, yes 6 onioin rings, 3 of them pretty small. The«kickin asian sauce» will be no surprise, nor kick very hard it’s thai sweet chili sauce, nothing special here.

I needed food and I needed it now. I didn’t care where from. All I knew is I needed something to help with my hangover. We were on our way out of town for the weekend and I needed to feel better or it was going to be a loooooooooooong day. Usually I have or two items that I get if I happen to find myself at a Carl’s Jr. This morning I didn’t want any of those things. I wanted gooey and greasy and just all together wrong. And I found that in the Big Country Breakfast Burrito. It has(copied and pasted) eggs, crumbled bacon and sausage, diced ham, shredded cheddar cheese, has rounds and«a generous ladle of sausage gravy,» in a flour tortilla. Oh and it also comes with a wrapper that says: «Promo Burrito»(if I recall correctly) and a little«Country» sticker. Which is the only thing I really liked about the burrito. Wore the sticker on my shirt all day. So the burrito was just full of major health issues written all over it, but I was hungover. So as far as the taste goes. It wasn’t gross. It takes various breakfast foods and stuffed them into a tortilla. I was kind of surprised at home small it was. I was anticipating some two-fister of a monster. This burrito was not«BIG» like they calm. Which in the end was just fine as there was enough to fill me up. The only really problem I had with the damn thing was how hot my egg was. It’s the kind of hot that burns your tongue right off. Even as I held one little bit left of tortilla and egg, the thing was still steaming like crazy. Like I had a little piece of flaming coal in my hand. Crazy. Will I be back? Probably not to this one unless I find myself in the same situation, but it’s a decent drive-thru location when in a hurry.
