I had originally ordered the pork and shrimp banh beo. The waitress talked me into splitting the order and trying both kinds offered, the other being dried shrimp banh beo. I should have ordered my original order, however my Dad ordered the same thing, and he liked the dried shrimp one better. So it was a fair trade off. They serve authentic Vietnamese food, and it is decently priced. This was my first time there.

We used to go to a yellow noodle place that was here prior to it changing to Da Nang Restaurant. It was a pleasant surprise to find the old noodle joint replaced by this new noodle joint. The menu changed a little to include food unique to Da Nang City region of Vietnam. I had the Banh Beo which looked different from other BB in that the starch was thicker, creamier and richer similar to «bánh đúc». I was very satisfied with this dish. The other interesting and delicious item is the Dang Nang bún ch cá. I have never had this papaya and pineapple seasoned bowl of vermicelli before, but I am glad I did cuz it was delicious. I will definitely return to this conveniently located restaurant.
