I’ve gone to Han for my brazilian blowouts and extensions and she does an amazing job! She’s good at what she does and lots of fun to talk to. I’ve also had Han do hair and makeup at my events and everyone was so happy with her work and they all loved her. The girl seriously knows how to do everything beauty related. I would recommend her to EVERYONE!

Well, I certainly didn’t enjoy any of their services, but a lady friend of mine did. That’s all I will say about that.

This is my second review for Hanni! My last review was on 9÷5÷2013.
Over a year later– I am still here! And she remains the only person I trust with my hair and that goes beyond extensions. She’s perfect for cutting and coloring, as well. Her schedule is usually pretty hectic so if she doesn’t have time to fit you in for a cut, style or dye, she’ll most likely refer you to somebody who specializes in those tasks.
The reason I’m writing a new review is because in the 3+ years I’ve been going to her, I’ve never been as ballsy as to chop all my hair off. Due to a girl’s recklessness during a hard breakup, we seem to always want to experiment with our hair. (Why?!) Anyway– long story short: I got a very blunt asymmetrical cut. It was nearly bob-​like short at one point. Within months, I regretted it. That «short hair, don’t care» persona only lasts so long before you start to envy all the girls with long luscious hair.
So I texted Hanni. If I recall– it was probably super late at night because that’s when we are the most emotional haha! She responded the very next day telling me that she could get my hair back to the way it was and I believed it.
When I say that I love Hanni, I really do! For how attentive she is with her craft and skill. She makes it a goal to achieve whatever it is you want because she wants to know that when you walk out her door, people will notice. And when people notice, they’ll ask who your hair stylist is. For me, it’ll probably always be her. And I am also in no way close to being able to afford monthly styling let alone, extensions. I also am not able to save up for much. But I’ll save up just to get my hair done properly by Hanni. I’ve also done my research and she is, if not just as good but, better and more affordable than if you were to go anywhere else for extensions. She’s a stylist who cares more about the quality of her work than steering you wrong.

Let me start by saying this review has been wayyy over due. BUTT since I felt like venting, might as well vent here.
This place is not a walk in place. You have to call and set up an appointment, and if you’re lucky. She will reply. Its also located within a store, so you probably will miss it if you don’t know which store.
Well I was referred to her by a coworker, yes, Han is extremely sweet and nice. On the other hand. the professional level. kinda not there. Made an appointment, she shows up late. -.- Time is valuable! Also she stated that she will be done then less then two hours. it was 3 hours plus cause she got carried away with talking! I mean that’s good to have personality, but some of us are busy. we need it done and over with. I mean its great that her friends started this Unilocal for her. but what majority of the Unilocal are truths? and others are false? we won’t know.
Anyways, the extensions were a good job! I did lose some hair, but that’s part of the extensions. it didn’t last as long as other places. and once it started to tangle up. I called/​texted her several times and she was no where to be found! That’s when I had to resort to another salon. smh. like I said, on the professional level. this place lacks it.
She finally answered like a month or so after? Like come on. a month or so?
Anyways, I probably wont be back. There literally hasn’t been a hair extension salon where I would rely on yet. Sigh. the search continues.

I’d recommend Han to anyone who has experienced very bad hair extensions. I spent over $ 500 with someone else first thinking it’d save me money. Worst idea ever. I went back to that person probably at least once a week to fix my hair extensions and the last time I got my extensions done by that person, I was shedding like crazy. I don’t even have to touch my old hair extensions, and it’ll still come out in chunks. Really gross and embarrassing. So I had to go look for someone else who knows what they are doing and that’s where Ms. Han comes in :)
She was nice enough to remove my old crappy hair extensions without charging me then I came back a few days later once she was able to get new hair extensions for me. She installed it within a few hours while we actually talked and watched Grey’s Anatomy on her laptop.
Before anything though, she was very informative about hair extensions since I ruined my hair by bleaching it like every week or two. I love the crazy hair colors and I just couldn’t stick with one color. It’s been since Christmas time or some time before that when I last changed my hair color and I miss it though LOL… I have very thin, damaged hair that I ended up cutting into a bob style, thinking it’ll be better for the extensions since most of the damaged ends will be cut off. Yeah I didn’t have too and my old hair stylist or whatever did not tell me that. I could still have somewhat long hair with these extensions from Han, but yeah anyways…
I got 4 hair bundles for a full head, by micro beads. I got these on December 24 and finally tomorrow 04÷05÷14 (I hope), I will be going back to Han and getting them removed and put back in. Not once did I have to go back to her to get it tighten or put back in if any slipped out. Not once did it slip out which I love! OMG, you do not know how much gas and time I wasted with the first person by going back to her just to get them put back in. Ugh, horrible experience with that individual. Never again!
The only complaint I’d have is that to this day since I got it put in by Han, I have a few scabs on my neck, at the bottom of the hair line. I’m assuming it’s the hair pulling on my scalp too much. I don’t think I’ve told or showed Han yet though.
By the way, her place is inside the store that sells wedding dresses and stuff.

This is my first time that I’ve ever got a hair extension. I found Hanni on Unilocal and read the reviews so I callled her and went over her workplace so she can see my hair then we arranged an appointment. After 4 hours of sitting my hair was finally done. The result was more than what I expected. The hair is so thick and silky just like I wanted! At first it may not feel so good and I felt like something pulling back all my hair but after one wash everything fell into place. I’m in love with the hair now and I will come back for more!

Came to Hanni almost 4 years ago looking for extensions for my wedding and I’ve been hooked ever since! I did my fair share of research before as I wanted it to look real and I wanted gorgeous locks for my special day and gorgeous photos that would last me a life time. I found Hanni through a friend of a friend who loved her work and I too now refer her every time I get hair compliments. She is beyond knowledgeable in hair and does an amazing job while working quickly, she’s that good! She also has a gentle hand and color matches perfectly. She’ll ask you what you want and makes it happen! Uses quality hair, beads and equipment while being affordable and making sure you are happy with the results. Extensions look real, stay in and last several months. You won’t be disappointed! Hanni equals hair whisperer!

Han was AMAZING! My hair used to be bellybutton length, then i decided to cut off my split ends resulting in having half my hair chopped off. I bought clip in’s but it was difficult to find a color that matched mine since i had dyed it so many times. My clip in’s looked so cheap and fake! My best friend was also in the process of growing out her hair and was referred to Han for extensions. I went with her to her consultation (at this time i wasn’t even interested in extensions) and I was automatically sold. She knew exactly what she was talking about! The next day I went in for my consultation, but before even going in, she told me to send her a picture of my hair through text and my hair was ready and matched before I stepped into her store. She’s very gentle and she uses only high quality hair and beads. She places the extensions to match your head shape and she even gave me a gorgeous subtle ombré. Han blends them beautifully! None of my friends and even my own boyfriend were even able to tell I had extensions put in. LOVE IT!

I was referred to Han by my friend who’s hair looked great. When I first met her she was extremely friendly & very professional. All my life I’ve had short hair & always had different types of extensions put in. I went to other people for my microbead extensions but no one could compare to the quality of Han’s services. She even provides the hair for you, very soft, silky and durable hair that lasted me for a long time. She is honestly the only person I trust with my hair now after I’ve met her. I drive to OC from sgv for a cut, a dye job, and of course extensions, for her to do my hair. Not only being a great hair dresser, Han’s become a great friend. She went out of her way and drove down to my area so she could do my hair for me since I was getting off work late that day. She makes me look forward to getting my hair done! She’s gotten my hair from black to honey brown to highlights, etc. She’s amazing. Id def. recommend her to anyone wanting extensions. Tons of my friends are always commenting on how pretty my hair is, none of them believe I have a weave in because it looks so natural! Love love love!!! :)
