Love this place for both great prices on produce and very reasonable prices on everything else, but mostly for a great selection of foods from former soviet block. Awesome assortment of things like eggplant spreads, pickled beets, all the things dear to a Russian heart. But they don’t stop there– dairy cases are stocked with milk products like tvorog, ryazhenka– all the stuff you typically only find in Russian markets.
Deli carries all sorts of cheese, cured fish and meats also familiar to those from eastern block.
The bakery has tons of Armenian and Georgian bread and butcher has things like whole salmon and whole catfish.
Always a must visit on my trips to see my parents, wish they were in Vegas!

Decent, affordable grocery store. The apples (visibly waxy) and strawberries (moldy and not ripe enough) in the produce department turned me off, though. Other than that, my daughter and I had a fun time shopping here. We came for bottled water and walked out with a basketful of groceries. I’d definitely shop there again if I’m in the are. One star less for the apples and strawberries.

This is my favorite store to go to in regards to meats such as beef and pork; they always have the lowest deals.
I would give this 5 stars, but this store is not perfect. THE FISH IS NEVER FRESH. I have bought there fish three times and two out of three times the fish was so gross. I found a worm in the fish once and then the salmon smelled soo bad…
soo everything but the fish there is awesome!!! :)

Purchased salmon belly few days ago. I used to buy salmon belly for years and I know what salmon belly looks like. Now, they sell SKIN and FIN, but label is as a «Salmon Belly»! They hided the huge tins inside, so when you buy, you can only see the salmon meat. But that’s not real! There is 1 mm thin salmon meat on a very thick (and heavy!) skin plus the large hidden fins. What a shame! I understand that they want to make money, but this is not the way! Will boycott Jons from now on! I can buy same food at Wholesome Choice or any other Persian store — they all sell the same products!
I’ve returned that SKIN and FIN (a.k.a. «Salmon Belly») today for a refund. The customer service guy was not happy about it.

This is a very good store to shop. They have a lot of international items. Whether you want Nutella or fish or something from the Middle East they have it. Come here if you’re looking for variety.

4 stars might be rounding up a little… or it might not be, depending on the day. Here is what you should get (list not all inclusive, I know I’m a «regular» here, but just for the same stuff):
— Pastries!!! Everything I’ve tried is tasty! Jalapeño and cream roll, cream filled powdered sugar coated Mexican pastry, chocolate sprinkle donuts, and more… not to mention my all-​time favorite, the CHOCOLATE CROISSANT. Chocolate in that beezy like never seen before! (I haven’t been around much. Please, suggest the best cho-​cro you know!?)
— Ultra cheap produce. Beats everywhere I’ve seen. Costco, Sprouts, Stater Bros…
— Ultra cheap meat, maybe… sometimes it seems a little iffy. Usually still tasty.
And I like that they have lots of ethnic items. :) I really wanna try their hot salsa they make!!! Why do they have to place it right next to the raw meat? :(

Cheap produce, cheap meat and friendly butchers! They have daily specials, which are usually pretty great deals. Wide selection of cheeses and cold cuts too. My «go to» grocery store. Just wish they had fresh made tortilla chips! :)

The customer service horrible here & the fat middle east lady with glasses are very rude & lazy. The fruits here day by day are not that fresh and rotten very fast.

I came here today for groceries since the fresh and easy near there is closed and Jons was the nearest grocery store.
I was amazed at the prices so I went a little crazy with my groceries. I originally just came here for chewy chips ahoy cookies but ended up spending about $ 40!
4 stars for their prices :’) but 2 stars for when I came home and opened my cookies and found white bubbles coming out of my chocolate chips. I was so grossed out. I came back to return the cookies and the girl assistant manager wasn’t very friendly when my bf and i told her what had happened. It seemed we were annoying her. She gave our cookies to the cashier for a refund and the cashier asked why are we returning and she said «I don’t know» well yes you do we just told you??? She didn’t even apologize to us. She needs to work on customer service skills. any who the cashier was really sweet and apologized.
I’m not sure if I’ll come back, but their strawberries are really good if you guys ever crave strawberries :’)

I’m almost reticent to write about Jon’s — because they’re so fantastic I don’t want to share! THE BEST deli, produce, ARMENIAN COFFEE,. and always smiling employees. I hope it’s because they’re treated well because I love this place. I often go significantly out of my way just to shop here, and every time I do I think that I should do so more often. LOVE!

I love this store! I agree with the previous reviews that stuff is very nice and friendly! A bid choice of different food. The often have great deals on fruits and vegetables. The only thing is cucumbers are often bad. I had to go to another store to buy it. But in general I always shop here for fruits and vegetables! Also they have my favorite buckwheat and different types of tea.

My go to market for all the produce in my breakfast, lunch, and dinner! Great prices on the produce.
Feeling super lucky I live down the street from this market. The people that work here are always so friendly and I feel comfortable coming here every time.
They have the lowest prices on produce more than any other market I know! Too bad they don’t have artichokes. They had them out twice but not all the time.

Jon’s is a great specialty supermarket. I come here when I can’t find international foods at my local Stater Bros. I like the variety of international foods and the quality their products.
Their pricing is hit or miss. Some sales are great deals. Some not so much. They had a sale on produce once but they packaged the amount in smaller quantities so it seems like you were buying more for your buck.
I love them as a specialty market, but outside of that I shop elsewhere.

Honestly I just stopped in here because I needed to use their restroom. I wandered around the store a bit, looking for it, and it looked like they had a good selection of products and especially produce and meat. It’s a grocery store with a Mexican/​Hispanic slant in terms of products available. I asked a man in the produce section if they had restrooms and he pointed them out — they were right next to where I’d first walked in. The women’s restroom was reasonable. Not very pretty, but clean enough and stocked with they basic necessities for such a place. I would not mind stopping here again, either to use their restroom or purchase groceries/​snacks.

I’ve been coming here for years. It’s very good in reasonably priced items, though with fruits/​veggies the quality can be poor if you’re not careful with what you pick. If you’re careful, you can come up for sure. The ‘butcher’ department and all meats — I stay away from. Sure, it can be cheap in price, but I’d rather pay 4−5x more and buy peace of mind.
The selection is great, because this store has a little bit of everything, but pricing is very odd. They had two 12 packs of Pepsi cans for $ 11 today? Wow, that’s more than regular price but I guess that’s the thing to do– put a bright yellow tag on it and people will assume its a good price.
Great selection of beers, vodkas, wines (got pomegranate wine?) and all of them imported from all over. Same with their cheese and deli meat section. I’d give this place ⁴⁄₅ but there are SO MANY OVERPRICED grocers as competitors and I’m so cheap, I’m going to splurge and give them ⁵⁄₅ for their consistent (weekly) deals. Their website has their weekly flyers… I recommend you check it out.

I don’t know where to begin, I guess with the meat. First I want to say I like the place because they have a great mix of international foods and beverages. The poor review is about the meat department. Way too many times I have bought bad meat there. I have purchased the meat from the glass meat case and the packages refrigerator and I would have to say 20−25% of the time it has been spoiled. I must say it may have not been spoiled at when I purchased it but it didn’t last more than 36hours in my fridge. The expiration date has always been good though, they just date wrong because it’s as far from fresh as it gets. I estimate you have to use there meat within 24 hours. I can understand it happening once but 3 times in the past 2 months and several times in recent memory before that. Unacceptable!
Now the flowers. Great prices I buy my wife flowers weekly but to do this the prices have to be right, so I go to Jon’s, Costco is good but they die faster but look fresher when you buy them. I don’t know why or how thy happens. Anyways at Jon’s the price is good and fair, but 90% of the flowers are wilted around the edges. Buying wilted flowers pretty much negates the whole initiative. To Jon’s overall the store is good you need new carts, fix the meat department and the flower department. Oh yeah did I mention the fresh bread had molded after two days. How fresh us that. Good things are the produce, deli and beer and wine selection.

This market just underwent a mini re-​model. Things were moved around and displays improoved. The changes they made are fairly minor, but they made quite a difference. It did take us a tad longer to do our shopping because things were shuffled around so we had to re-​learn the new lay out of the products, but I didn’t mind. This little upgrade
just reminded me why I love coming here.
