L & N Nails Spa

I had the misfortune of going to this place Jan 31, 2015 with my best friend and her daughter. The place was busy as expected for a Saturday afternoon. We were purposely made to wait. People who arrived after us were taken back even though we had been waiting for quite some time. It became painfully obvious after we waited for over an hour, that we would not be taken care of. I have to ask… Why? I have never been victim to outright racism in my life but experienced it that day. My best friends’s daughter is African American and was the only person in there that was not white or Asian. Did we make a fuss? Did we cause a scene? (Other than her 3 year old daughter crying in frustration bc she was not getting her nails done). We left with no explanation from staff and with a very upset 3 yr old girl. No worries though… We took her elsewhere and she was treated like a princess.
If I could leave zero star rating I would. The staff should be ashamed of themselves.

I’ve been to this salon four times now, once for just a pedicure, twice for mani/​pedis, and once for just a manicure. All four times they’ve done an exceptional job. I get regular OPI polish, not gel, and I’ve gotten a consistent 10 days without a chip on my hands. My pedicure lasts until I return for a redo weeks later. Unlike a lot of small nail salons the employees are friendly and don’t spend all their time chatting with each other. My last visit, yesterday, wrapped up with my nail tech showing me a brag book of photos of her kids. It was really sweet. I’ll be going back in a few weeks when this manicure needs a redo.

They did a great pedicure, but when I asked for a French manicure the same story did not apply. It looked like I had taken white out and put it on my nails, and there was no actual polish. When I asked for it to be redone in a whole different color and style, it was very rushed.
I would go back for a pedicure, but not for any sort of French anything
