I will definitely come back to this office with my wife and my three kids. My eyes were infected on my Las Vegas trip so I needed to see an eye doctor in town as soon as I came back. My co-worker refer me tho Dr. Melody Nguyen. I walked in without an appointment and was seen after waiting only 20 minutes. I felt comfortable right away when I came in the office because it was clean and all the 4 staff are very friendly. Dr. Melody was very knowledgeable and extremely nice. I got the prescription filled at the pharmacy right next door. I eyes got better the next day. I came back a week later for check up and I ended up buying 2 pairs of glasses, the price here was reasonable and they have lots of brand name frames. I only have to wait 30 minutes for the technician to cut my glasses at the same day.

Definitely a zero star!!! «0»; I myself have been here a few times for my eyeglasses need. Had small issues no majors one; as what I’m about to warned everyone about it. My husband decided to go here after our current and great optometrist did not carry the«Ray Ban Wayfarer» he wanted. So of course after a few stops we decided to come here since; I have been here before and noticed they have a pretty good selection of Ray Bans. Side note: I have questions if the authentication is really true here. We were getting to walked out and the elderly lady stop us; and was talking to my husband and was like; Well: if you buy with us I will waived your co-pay and deductible for you and your son. Of course my husband took the deal. Sounds great right! Even $ 50 off on each ray bans. So of course she ran our VSP; authorized the insurance etc. About 2 weeks later we got the call that it was ready. Understandable because they sent out to VSP for the lens. I picked up maybe about Mid december. Everything was process on November 12 or so 2014. By that time I picked up everything; everything was fine they gave me the sunglasses and I was on my way. At this time my husband was oversea do to his job. Dec 2014. Keep in mind that by now insurance would have paid the claim and if there was any issues we would have been prompted when I picked up the glasses in Dec 2014. Sandy the lady I picked up the glasses from mentioned nothing. 2 Months later in Feb of 2015; my husband arrived back home and noticed these weren’t the correct sunglasses he picked out. So he called and spoke with sandy she said bring them in. When we arrived we felt that like we was ambushed and accused left to right. So instead of fixing the issues that they were the wrong sunglasses. She accused me of cancelling my insurances and they never got paid. So I told her if this is the case call VSP. So we did and after the rep told her this is not the case and we never cancelled. She looked stunned; after hanging up the phone with VSP she still accused me of cancelling. So she decided to keep the sunglasses until everything would settled. I said fine and if VSP give me the ok. I will come back. At this time we aren’t sure what happened or what went wrong. My mistake was giving her the sunglasses. Well months has passed after calling and getting the run around Sandy still said never paid by VSP. So she ran our new insurance as VSP is every year. she ran our insurance for 2015 to claim for 2014. Again every time we called it was nothing. Now we are in this going on about 8 months now. Finally my husband said we are going to sue!!! I contact 20⁄20 Visions and asked if they had any issues from VSP payment for the NOV2014. As I got contacts the same month a few days prior through the same insurance. They said no all of my claim have been paid going back to 2011. I told 20⁄20 the issues and they were shocked. I asked her if she can print the proof for me that it was paid because my husband is going to sue. She told me that if my claim was paid she know my husband is paid because it was claim in the same months 2 days prior. An VSp is not going to pay for one claim and not pay the other one. So I decided to contact VSP to see if the Claim was paid and they notified me yes it has since November 2014. My mistake is of my busy schedule and if I just had the time to do research that i did before; this would have never happened. Felt so stupid that lady played us like this just to cover there mistakes. So we are now 11 months into this Sandy said called back next months so we decided to contact the manager/owner and tell her the issues and that we are going to sue and guess what 10 mins later. She called us back and was like your sunglasses and your son is here ready to pickup. Insurance paid and we dont know where the miscommunication came from. Like are you fucking serious!!! You have been giving me a run around for over a year and now just telling me it have been paid. So when I asked if this is so much the case why did Sandy said it was never paid??? all you get is I don’t know!!! The elder lady admits to remembering my husband but is 1000% sure that the sunglasses my husband picked out was the correct one. The frustration they have giving us: Wrong sunglasses; wrong lens and then try to hide and was like oh your sight was worse a year ago and all of sudden it A++++ today. The insurance issues; and all the BS. At the end of the day they claim twice for one service that happened in 2014. We all know when your sight goes bad it doesn’t go back to good. This has been by far the worse business ever!!! The office manager finally to say the doctor will check your eye again for free; guess what his eye just suddenly clear as day!!! They switch out the correct sunglasses and we got them in 2 days.

Honestly, Dr. Melody is pretty okay. it’s just her staff, the people that work there that will ruin her business. Not just Rude but Unprofessional. They screwed up my face with the frame they sold me. I came back, the lady up front offer to put a piece of tape on both sides of my frame. I couldn’t believe it with my own ears … it’s sickening. I will never come back here. I feel so bad for Dr. Melody, she’s a wonderful lady… just having bad people working for her.

This place really does have terrible customer service. There’s this woman there with the snobbiest face & attitude. She acts as if everyone is a waste of her time. She also said to my grandmother in Vietnamese, «Shut up. You are so annoying. I have better things to do than stand here and argue with you.» Got into a verbal altercation with her. Yup. Never coming back. Go to Luu Optometry down the street, if anything. Seriously the kindest & most intellectual optometrist around.

Do not go here. I used to come here when Dr. Luu was around and that was fine. He was great and listened to my needs. I went back and it wasnt until I was already in the chair that I was told he had retired. Though the new doctor, Melody, is extremely nice, she did not listen to my needs. I told her my eyes were drying out from the lens I was using and wanted to see what other options there were. She told me there weren’t any. On TOP of my insurance, they charged me $ 320 for the exam and only 4 contacts that were terrible(Coopervision– Options). I later found out there were 3 – 4 more options of lens through the same company that were made in my prescription and were much better for me… far more breathable and much better priced at Costco. In fact, I would recommend a Costco Optometry. They don’t actually sell the contacts or glasses so they will recommend what’s best for you. After this experience I will never return to that office. It was a COMPLETE rip off and I didn’t even have the best lens. I would have preferred to pay more for a better exam then paid the $ 70 for their contacts exam and get ripped off on contacts.
