If you don’t have patience, you’re inconsiderate, and you lack compassion for others, then what business do you have working in the healthcare industry?! So I had a foot injury that sent me the ER. The people at GG Hospital sent me home with stitches and told me to follow up with my primary physician. My primary physician is out of town,(great timing!) so her office referred me to this lady here. First off, no greetings, no «how are you feeling?» nothing, whatsoever. However, she did yell at me because I wasn’t taking off the bandage on my foot fast enough for her to look at. OKAY… I then got yelled at because the hospital didn’t take an x-ray of my foot. I didn’t even know I needed an x-ray. While she writes my x-ray referral, she’s leaning halfway across the examination table. It was almost like she was falling asleep. –_– I also mentioned that I needed to obtain a referral to an orthopedic, which she once again, yelled at me for, because I came in «late.» She was complaining all loud as hell so the whole entire office could hear her about how impossible it is for her to get a referral for me at this time. #1. I never asked for a referral approval right this second. #2. I just BARELY got her number from my primary physician. #3. I don’t know this kind of shit, I’m not a doctor, so obviously I didn’t know she had specific fax times to work by. Keep in mind, this is at 1pm on a freakin’ Wednesday… Oh, and just when you think things couldn’t be any more appalling, a patient passing by the room I was in had a question for her. She called the patient in the same room I was in and they were discussing their medical issues right in front of me! UNPROFESSIONAL. She was also whining to me about how my primary physician only asked her to deal with pediatric issues, not«grown up» issues. WTF? That’s between her and my physican, not me. I’m not paying money to hear a doctor bitch around. Unprofessional demeanor, along with impatience makes a lousy doctor. You can’t work in the medical field if you’re going to be so rude and inconsiderate. If she acts like this to her adult patients, then I pity the children who come in to see her.
