Not sure why this place says only open till 9 pm. I was here at midnight on a Sunday. Anyways, after Snow Monster, I was craving something salty, and the place next door to Snow Monster was too crowded. So we drove across the street to this place. We only ordered the egg rolls(5 pcs) Cash only they said. The egg rolls were piping hot out of the fryer. They were delicious. I didn’t try their phở.

Me and my boyfriend come here all the time! It’s become our regular phở joint and has been for at least the past 6 months or so. The phở always comes out fast and we’re never disappointed. It’s always satisfying and you can’t beat the price($ 5 for a large bowl!!!) They serve plenty of beansprouts, lime, and basil. We also tried spring rolls for the first time today and they were pretty good, also definitely worth the price-$ 5 The only reason why I’m giving them 4 stars instead of 5 is bc the service isn’t the best, but that’s similar to many authentic Asian restaurants. It’s sometimes hard to communicate with them and get refills on waters, but it’s not a huge issue honestly. The place is clean and décor is simple. This place is also open 24 hours!!! Contrary to what Unilocal says!!! And CASHONLY We’ll be back soon :)

10⁄10 would recommended ! The soup is so delicious and the meat is juicy I got the number 9 so good definitely recommended coming here and trying it, you won’t be disappointed ! It’s open 24 hrs and I came thru around 2:30 and there’s a lot of people there so you know this is the spot to be at. The only downside about this spot is that their service isn’t that good, they take your order, deliver it and then don’t come back to check up on you. But that was the only downside to my experience and I was able to over look that just cuz of how good the food was.

I love this place! You really can’t beat the price for a bowl of phở here. It’s pretty clean, the staff are nice, quick service, and good food. It was a little confusing to find since the address took me to a different plaza than where this place is located? It’s actually in the plaza across the street. 9625 bolsa ave– just turn into pagoda street.

I haven’t been here for over 5 years. This place renovated, but the phở tastes as good as ever. I have nothing more to say.

Considering how cheap the phở is here at $ 5, you really can’t complain about what you get. Fortunately, the brisket is super yummy and flavorful, and they don’t skimp on the portions at all. I ordered a regular and I could hardly finish my bowl! The noodles are a good, chewy consistency and it comes with tons of green onions, which I personally love :-) I like this place cause it tastes authentic and your food comes out super fast. Service here always sucks but that’s not a problem. You come by, get cheap food and go. Also after 9pm, I believe phở is 50% off so that comes down to like $ 2.50 per bowl? I’m widdit.

Water is suppose to be free but they charged 50 cents. Apparently you also get charged an extra 50 cents if you asked for beef on the side. It doesn’t mean they give you more, it just means you’re paying more to have it on a plate rather than in the soup. They didn’t bother mentioning the extra charges and you wouldn’t have known that unless you ask for a breakdown of your total. Even though it is cheap for $ 5 phở, I rather use that $ 5 at McDonald’s for 20 piece chicken nuggets. At least I’ll have free water there. Unfriendly attitude with the owner and waiters.

Horrible service. We first walked in here and waited to be seated because it was somewhat pack for a thursday night. The guy seated us at the front after like 5 mins. And let me tell you, they CHARGE50CENTPERCUPOFWATER. Ok sure we re in a drought but its not listed in the menu nor did the waiter tell us. We also WAITED15 mins to HUNT someone down to take our order. My aunt waited 50 mins for a dish of fried noddles with seafood. They brought her meat but shes a not meat eater… they took it back and placed ONEPIECEOFSQUIDANDRAWSHRIMPS. The shrimps itself was pink on the outside but grey and chewie on the inside. We also waited an hour for an fried calamari.

I love phở. I think I come to this location way too much. Anyways, the service here sucks but the phở comes out nice and fast. I always get the«dac biet» which has everything in it. It is delicious! I can definitely see that they really pack the bowl with noodles and everything else. They don’t skimp out! I also noticed that when they give you«tai» it s really is «tai» because some places give it to you and it’s already well done whereas I can still see that my meat is pink! The décor is really nice here and lots of parking! Especially because I come here at night. CASH only! They have an ATM inside, but there’s will be a surcharge of course. I noticed they don’t have napkins, chopsticks, or any of that sort on the table, only hoisin and sriracha. A little inconvenient but nonetheless not that big of an issue. If you’re looking for a decent phở place late at night and you happen to have cash, come here! It’s better than Phở Vie I can guarantee you that!

Is a small location right in the middle of the mall, spacious and affordable. Been coming here for years, we love the phở here, specially after 9 pm, phở is 50% off. The service staff is not that great, since you get to sit yourself and who ever is setti5 the tables is never welcoming, the recommendation is for the food, so far I can’t seem to find a better place that has such good broth. Personally I have never had any of the meat items, but when I go with my friends they say the chicken is juicy and tasty. The spring rolls dipped in sauce are really good. Fresh and crisp, definitely a must appetizer to order while waiting for your phở to arrive. Overall, a good place to come by if you just want food, good food and go.

Phở please! The taste of hot soup riddled with slices of beef, onions, tripe and soft chewy rice noodles. On a cold day or after heavy drinking, phở is so fulfilling. I’ve been to a dozen phở places in westminster. Phở Thanh is one of my favorite places. They give more meat and veggies than most other places. I order a large bowl to go which feeds 2 people. The broth isn’t as complicated as other places but it definitely does the trick. I never wait more than 5 minutes for food and the restaurant has a decent ventilation system so I don’t stink of food when I leave.

If you want amazing phở do NOT come here! Sat and waited to order for 15 minutes. Even gave the man eye contact and a gesture to order and he acted as if I wasn’t even there. He went on to clean the next table… Finally after 30 minutes, I get my Luke warm phở that was tasteless. The broth is lacking the sweet beefy flavor and tasted like a watered down version of phở. Save yourself the disappointment and go to Phở 54 or Phở 79.

I remember this place was super pack back in the day Not now. I came in on a Tuesday at about 7pm with 5 other people and there was only one other group inside. The guy that was taking our orders were rude and stingy. I am guessing he is the owner. There were no napkins laying out on the table like most phở restaurants. There weren’t any forks, spoons, or chopsticks as well. The only thing they had on the tables were the hosin sauce and sriracha. However, once you seat they then give you the ultinsels you need with a napkin each. I got the phở tai. Nothing speculator. The broth was okay. Everyone else though it was also okay as well. It’s a little bland but with the sauces it is okay. The pricing is about the same as any average phở restaurant. The inside is large and fairly clean. However with the service, we probably wont be back.

Maybe it’s just me but from my palate, I think Phở Vie, Phở Vinh Ky and Phở Thanh all have very similar tasting phở. MSG loaded broth, subpar service and decent phở prices. Yes, they’re all opened very late/24/7 and located in the heart of Westminster. Out of the 3, I’d give the slight edge to Phở Thanh though. This place usually gets super packed late night for those drunken clubbers and bar hoppers. They have 50% off phở which is listed at $ 9.99, so you’re coughing up 5 bucks for a bowl. Oxtail phở isn’t part of the promotion and runs for $ 6.95 per serving. The oxtail ain’t too shabby but it’s not delicious and fall off the bone like Phở 79 n Phở Lu. Overall, I’d really only come back here during post midnight hours if I was in the O.C. area.

I’m not familiar with phở places around the OC area so a friend recommended this place. We came in Tuesday morning and it was empty. Ordered the half off phở large #9($ 5) with the meat on the side($??). I was not informed the meat on the side costed extra(after I had paid for my meal alrdy) so my friend ended up paying for it. First of all, I’m surprised by their rude customer service considering they literally do not speak/understand English. I explicitly talked to the waiters multiple of times when I was ordering and paying for my food, but none of them ever responded back to me… I don’t understand how this business is still running because clearly they have no problem ignoring their customers and mismanaging the bill. But overall, if u enjoy half priced phở bowls & rude customer service then this place is the place to go! Also, cash only.

I feel like this is a run of the mill phở place. The phở itself falls in the middle of the pack. The cha gio and the gio cuon are solid early eats as well. I find it hilarious that the phở xao doesn’t used thicker rice noodles, but instead uses the ones they always use for the phở. I don’t mind though. It’s consistent and it’s open for 24 hours. And honestly I’m tired of fast food and Denny’s at 3 am. Thanks for keeping the dream alive Phở Thanh, I’ll be back in town soon.

24HOURSDRUNCHIESTOGO! *CASHONLY* I basically lived at this place when they had 50% off their Phở Ga. Now it’s discounted on Phở Bo but I really just come here for their chicken phở! It’s very inexpensive and very tasty. Only downside is their service isn’t too great. they’re probably sick of dealing with drunken customers but nonetheless, great phở ga! I togo’ed a large bowl of Phở Ga and it came out to $ 6.75. I feel like the servings that were given togo’ed were more abundant. I was so full I couldn’t finish the rest haha. Definitely my goto place whenever I crave though PHO :) !

An average tasting bowl of phở for only ~$ 4, with the large size being ~$ 5. My friends tell me they just give you more soup if you order a large, but I can’t confirm that. I’m not from the OC, so my review can’t be in comparison to other phở restaurants in the area, but I think my bowl of phở tasted okay! It was flavorful even before I added all the necessities, like lime, jalapeños, hoisen sauce and Sriracha. The waiters are friendly, but good luck communicating with them in English :/But if you know what number you want, there’s really nothing much you need to ask them for. This place is cash only, is open 24/7, and has a cool security guard by day, busboy by night guy on their staff. The restaurant is spacious and can also accommodate larger parties. Parking wasn’t an issue when I went around 2am. Overall, it’s a decent place to dine at for you insomniacs out there.

4.1325060918192012263424 Stars Kudos to my niece Natasha and her BF for the Phở restaurant selection. A Vietnamese, she knows her Phở as does her bf. Erik P, a fellow Latino who likes Vietnamese, all three had experience at Phở Thanh, but this was my firs time. Do you remember the first time you tasted Phở? I had Phở before but this was my first time at Phở Thanh and I was reminded of my very first Phở and my very strong love for Phở. «Phở So many people use your name in vain Phở My love for you will never ever go astray Phở Through all the moist and hot and juicy slurp Phở Through better and worse, I still will choose you first» (Parody of Love by Musiq) **Parking was great **My GPS was a bit off **Service was better than average, but only in my opinion, hopefully it will be the same for you. Phở, Phở Thanh, my first time was awesome! Song parody of Surface’s song«The First Time You know I won’t forget The tender noodles and beef at Phở Thanh Like walking in the park Sometimes I have to get some Phở again I am so happy then No diet regrets Can’t you tell from the look on my face? That, I loved your Phở, today The first time, I tasted it all your Phở, I cried Do you remember, the first time? You tasted Phở The noodles made from rice Love is on our plate The first time When I, tasted, Phở Although my meal has passed I still remember just like it was yesterday My love for you is vast The love I have for Phở Time won’t ever change I love you the same Now until the end Memories we share will live forever Deep inside my heart, I know I’ll never forget The first time, I tasted it all your Phở, I cried Do you remember, the first time? You tasted Phở The noodles made from rice Love is on our plate The first time When I, tasted, Phở The first time, I tasted it all your Phở, I cried Do you remember, the first time? You tasted Phở The noodles made from rice Love is on our plate The first time When I, tasted, Phở

I usually come here for phở because it’s so close, to work. Parking lot is decent sized, and its not too busy during lunch, but I’ve seen the parking lot get packed at night. The phở is decent, especially for the price! Small bowl is enough to fill me up and a large isn’t all that much more. This place is also open 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week so it’s your place to eat place if your having a phở craving. The service has always been good to me, but they don’t speak English very still so be prepared to start pointing when it comes time to order if you don’t know Viet. Also, thus place is CASHONLY! But Not to worry, there’s an ATM next to the register. There are plenty of great phở places in this, area but I always seem to find myself coming back mainly because of its convenience.
