I liked this place a lot better when it was still, as the sign on the building says, The Home Economist. Now it seems like it’s more of a specialty candy shop than anything else. They do still have a fairly limited quantity of bulk spices and other cooking items but it’s a shadow of the old store. Also, there were a lot of empty bins and the person working did not acknowledge me, either as I was coming or going, when I was always greeted before. Not somewhere I will go out of my place to visit again. Rather sad.
