There aren’t many places left that you can walk into and instantly feel comfortable and assured that you will get an excellent, no frills haircut. Tom and the others are kind and great at what they do. I know I will keep coming back here for a long time.

I have been looking for a local place to get my hair cut and have settled on Compo Barber Shop. If you need a basic haircut this is a perfectly good place to go. All of the barbers working here are good. Since there are a number of barbers working here, if you are not picky about who cuts your hair, you can generally get an appointment on a day and time you will find convenient. They charge $ 28 as of the date of this review. While I know of other places in the region that are less expensive, Compo Barbers is nevertheless going to be far less expensive than the many «hair salons» in the Westport area.

I’ve been getting my hair cut by Tom for a quarter of a Century, and I plan to come to this great, local shop as long as its around. Good cuts, no gimmicks, the old fashioned way.
