TBH dat sushi makes me want to vomit. Those tuna rolls are frozen lol, but it’s def worth the price during happy hour. I’ll be back but not getting the tuna rolls. Also your Shirley temple stained my tongue (and my Gucci flip flops.) but for real tho that chicken teriyaki is slightly orgasmic I love it so that’s why I’m giving you 4 stars. Price and teriyaki. It’s woke. It’s lit. hmu if you are a 12 – 15 Yr old and want to get some sushi. (Jk please don’t talk to me)

I have been to Pink Sumo quite a few times and I must say that they have excellent sushi and service! Great atmosphere, it was great to see familar faces, Shannon greeted us at the door! Our bartender Thany had the biggest smile on her face the whole time! She was very lovely, I would come here again because of the excellent service! The sushi was delicious and most importantly FRESH!

Great happy hour ! Guessing it is the Best value in Westport. The saki was tasty and the sushi was fresh and delicious. Ambiance was nice and service great. Couldn’t say that I would change anything.

I went here with a few friends on a Wednesday. Once you step inside the place, you don’t even realize that it’s in the basement of a building. Pink Sumo has a «lounge» feel and it’s very pretty. I would definitely recommend taking someone here on a date.
As for the food, the sushi is really fresh. We ordered the love boat for two, and everyone finished it in no time. No complaints at all. One thing I wished they did was add more salt to the edamame.

Best sushi in town.
Service is always excellent. Good wine and beer selections. Dig the atmosphere too.
Favorite roll is Bollywood. It’s the perfect balance of flavors and a little crunch. Second favorite is the Dynamite Roll. If I lived in Westport I would frequently partake in their delivery service! Recently got takeout and it was all just perfect when I got it home.
The seaweed salad and miso soup are very good. Yellowtail Sashimi and Jalapeño is addictive and the Tuna Tartar… WHOA MAMA! I cannot go without mentioning the excellent Mango Tango Roll and the Rising Sun! Oh… and that Dragon Roll, yummers!
Sake, beer and wine menu is very good. The overall menu is not too complicated (like many places tend to do). The menu is actually fairly simple and maybe that is why they seem to have perfected their dishes!
Parking is a big pain in the tail but the experience is well worth the effort!

I really wanted to like this new addition to the area– I thought the Sushi rolls were very good– we had 4 of their specialty rolls. But this did not make up for the terrible service. Since they will not take a reservation for a party less than 8– our party was told it would be 15 min wait when we arrived. After 25 mins we were told it would be another few mins. Long story short we had to wait and hour and 15 mins. While we ordered drinks as we waited and the manager came to appologize for the wait he never offered us a simple drink on the house or even to send over a roll/appetizer. Then he had the nerver to come over to our table while we ate and said «it was worth the wait wasn’t it?» So while the food was good I would think twice about going back here. Proper customer care could have made a big difference.

Went here for a late lunch/early dinner. Place was empty. Received prompt service. Ordered the rock shrimp which were delicious and just the right size for one person. Also ordered a couple of sushi pieces, very fresh! Would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good service and good sushi

Really fun place in town. Got the yellowtail with jalapeño for an app. Then we split the teriyaki filet & shrmp entrée and had some sushi, as well. Service was great. Had a bottle of wine that was very affordable ($ 30) and decent for the price. Ate at the bar and had a very relaxed meal. Flaming fried ice cream was a fun finish to the meal. Definitely will be back.

Best sushi around!
If you’re looking for something special, and have the time, the Omakase meal is fantastic, with a combination of hot and cold foods. They usually include their signature miso cod.
Very friendly service.
One of my favorites.

This place was really great!
Everything we ordered tasted great. We ordered an order of Dragon roles, gyoza, shumai, and shrimp tempura.
All of the staff was so friendly, our waitress always checked with us to make sure we had everything we needed.
Great place if I lived in CT I would have to come here more often.

Went to Pink Sumo for the first time last Friday. We had reservations but they weren’t needed as there was plenty of seating available.
Great rolls. Their special rolls were fantastic and somewhat innovative. Also started off with the bang bang shrimp which was probably my least favorite from all the things ordered. We paid about $ 120 for two people inc. tip.

Lovely décor and service. Sushi was fine, but bento boxes are NOT the thing you should ask for here. Best stick to sake and sushi.

I had been to pink sumo for dinner on a weekend and it was fantastic, but today was a rainy wends very low traffic. I have noticed that most places perform at their best when they are their busiest, pink sumo being no exception.
Today the food was okay nothing that great. The service is what bothered my wife and myself. The server was pushy. i had not even finished pushing in my chair the server greeted us with do you know what you want? There was no introductions just wanted to take our order. Then there was the plates being taken from the table before we were finished with the dish. He did a reach for the plate I told him I was still working on that. He walked to the table next to us filled up a glass of water and took the plate this time while I had a mouth full.
I really felt rushed and not welcomed. I will aim for the weekend next time I come back. The time before this I was really impressed like 4.5 stars, but they fell short this time.

I realized I hadn’t yet written a review about the best sushi in Connecticut. Always fresh from the number of experiences I’ve had so far. They give superb service. I’ve had a variety of rolls– but my favorites are definitely the Bollywood, Rising Sun, and Dragon.
Their green tea is great too!
The best part about Pink Sumo is it’s a one minute walk from my job– and they deliver if you’re just feeling too damn lazy to walk downstairs :)

Fresh sushi and delicious drinks. Had a great time enjoyed delicious food love the dumplings. I always go to the place in Fairfield and I think this place is just as good. Can’t wait to go back! Love the atmosphere. Service was on point too!
