Horrible place. Prices mis-marked. Produce unreliable. Just had blueberries tasting like leather balls. Store is a mess no customer service. Go elsewhere.

The quality to price ratio for meat, chicken, seafood, etc is horrendous. Everyone else seems to understand beef has come down In price. If you can go to Costco or BJs do it. You can pay for a membership in about one trip via savings. fresh food quality is usually better — but never worse. Same thing for Cheeses where Costco has a great selection at much lower prices. Milk is usually over $ 1 less per gallon. Otherwise go to another Stop and Shop because there is also an additional premium for the pleasure of shopping in Westport as someone mentioned below. stop and shop is becoming the new 7 – 11.

Here is so bad… They don’t wanna refund money. So terrible. Make me charged two different cards for same products and tell me they can’t refund one more charged. All of the systems so bad. Here is defraudation wherever.

Smaller, dirtier and ruder than the Stop & Shop on Main Ave. in Norwalk. From what I understand, most of their employees are bused in every day from Bridgeport, so by the time they get to Westport they’re pretty ticked off. In any event, they are the sort of folk who expect you to move out of *their* way when crossing paths in the aisles. They are also very slow on the registers and bag at their leisure. And know nothing of perfunctory small talk. The layout of this store is horrendous – not at all intuitive. Prices include the«Westport premium» and are thus inflated. Stupid. For a better all-around Stop & Shopping experience, go to the big, beautiful one on Main Ave. For a better grocery store in Westport, go to Fresh Market.
