Willows Pediatrics

My husband was a patient at Willows as a child and when we moved back to the area we were immediately wooed by the practice. Unfortunately, we’ve had several awful experiences with the doctors and the practice. We’ve had to switch doctors twice due to the immense wait time for well and sick visits. In 2012, my son went to the emergency room with croup and was given steroids, when we went to see one of the staple doctors of the practice the next day he told me I was over reacting!!! Then he listened to his lungs and told me he had one of the worst cases of croup he had ever seen! The. Proceeded to keep my son on a nebulizer and steroids for nine days. I couldn’t believe I was told this. Secondly, my daughter was very ill and had to go the emergency room. We missed an appointment due to being in the ER and they had the audacity to send us a bill for the missed visit! Needless to say, after several chances we left the practice. Willows is in the business of making money not helping families and their children with their illness or their well-​being.

Dr. Peter Czuczka has been a great pediatrician for our daughter for the last 15 years! I am sorry that she has to leave his practice once she’s in college. He has kept her healthy despite several serious medical issues and has been caring and extremely knowledgeable. He runs on time and has always been there for us. It’s also great to be able to have blood work done on site so results come back quickly.

The wait at this place is horrible. I have been made to wait with a sick newborn for 45 minutes with no explanation. Every time I am there I feel as if they are doing ME a favor. I know lots of people that have had children seriously misdiagnosed here. After 4 years I have had it. Time to find a new doctor.

I went to this place as a child and had to switch doctors! Every time I waited for an absurd amount of time even though I always made appointments very long in advance. Dr. Isis Bartels was my doctor. Although she is very intelligent, she was very manipulative with me as a patient and did not have my best interests. She completely broke my trust with her and I changed doctors as soon as I could. My brother was also misdiagnosed for a serious illness multiple times at Willows by another doctor. DO NOT GO HERE. I know it’s convenient for Westporters, but if you value your health I strongly advise that you take your business elsewhere.
