I’m not a huge fan of chain restaurants but this place is Awesome. I ordered some pizza, wings and meatballs for the office. The meatballs should be called«amazeballs» because they’re that good! And they came in this cool pot that we got to keep! Jeff(the gentleman who took my order) was wonderful. I’m very happy with the quality and service. A definite favorite for me and the office staff.

Simple menu but delicious! We got a pepperoni pizza and a meatball sandwich! Both were great! I would recommend getting the pepper on the side if you don’t like spicy food, it has a slight kick to it

Great, efficient service. Came for the pizza but fell in love with the pot of meatballs! Great, robust, hearty Italian meatballs with plenty of sauce, ricotta and focaccia for dipping. Get to take the actual pot home with the leftover balls, they give you 13! They gave us a sampler of their wings, como, which was really nice but I wasn’t feeling them. My only complaint is that the pizza itself is a little pricey. We order the white small pizza and it was $ 18! Perfectly well done as they assured. Lastly the cappuccino was actually hot. Normally you get luke warm coffee at restaurants but this one was refreshingly steamy and hot!

Love the pizza. Not as good as Pizzeris Regina, but still worth the trip. The Broccoli Rabe and sausage pizza was very good. Their cheese pizza was thin crusted, well cooked and they use the freshest ingredients. Definitely going back there.

Went there on a double date last night and we had a great time. The place is a little small so it was a bit crowded while we were waiting. However it was a Saturday night so it’s expected. The wings were really good! The ribs were a bit spicy but good. The pizza was delicious! And the staff were very friendly :)

Really a huge fan of this place, wish I could have the pizza but I can attest that the lunch sandwich I had was amazing. My boyfriend was really pleased with his pizza as well. The service was impeccable and quick. All of the staff was friendly and you just feel welcomed here. I am happy we chose to try it out. The wings looked like they would be worth trying the next time we go. Happy there is a place like this that offers good pizza and also other food so I am enjoy it as well. There was a minor issue with my check and we got billed twice for the pizza, but it’s not a big deal at all and the staff and manager handled the situation so well. Can’t wait to go back!

We tried this place for the first time today. We were watching the phantom gourmet and noticed how appealing this place was. The Phantom Gourmet raved about the cauliflower pizza and the wings. We ordered a small cauliflower pizza, a small order of wings and a large cheese pizza. We weren’t crazy about the cauliflower pizza. We’re glad we tried it, it was very fulfilling, but we won’t order it again. The cheese pizza was great. They have signs posted on the walls that warns everyone about the«well done» pizza. So, I don’t understand why some people are whining about burnt crust. The wings= amazing. They were cooked perfectly. Nice flavor, juicy, the onions were nice and not too strong in taste. The bread underneath everything, ehh it was alright. Not how it looked on the phantom gourmet, and also not very flavorful. This place is VERY pricey. With the pizza and wings we ordered, we had two cokes as well. The bill was almost $ 60.(Not including the tip) the service is great though, which a lot of restaurants lack. This place was worth the try. We’ll be back to try the meatballs next!

Can I just say this is the best pizza I’ve ever had? Seriously, they are pros at making it! I also enjoy the wings with the grilled onions, so so good! The atmosphere is very relaxed with a variety of music played aloud but in a comfortable volume, making it so you can have a conversation just fine. The servers are generally pretty nice and stay on top of their tables. I’ve read they’ve got a few more locations coming so I’m excited to try them too! I hope they keep up their work ethic and don’t cut corners in the quality of their food or service. Great place!

This. Place. Is. TINY. Just a heads up, if you go on a Friday or Saturday at dinner, you’ll probably be waiting because the restaurant itself is small. That being said, it is absolutely delicious! You can’t go wrong with their wings(coal fired), pizza(coal fired), or salad(not coal fired), their food is top notch and delicious. The only other thing to note is it is a bit pricey for pizza. It is definitely worth it, hair be prepared that the pizzas are $ 17+. Drinks are reasonable with infusions priced at $ 5/drink and beers $ 4 – 8, so that balances out quite a bit. Try it out! I would have to say it’s one of the best pizzas outside of New York & Connecticut!

Sports bar and pizza joint! Good pizza, not the best I’ve ever had, but certainly very good. Their policy is to cook the pizza«well done» so it will alway come looking a little burnt around the edge, but that is actually good, not sure why– it just is. We wanted pepperoni and bacon, they don’t do bacon. Instead we got prosciutto, which came in long strips on top of the pizza, and for a «well done» pizza, the prosciutto seemed a bit underdone — not crispy. Next time we’ll get just pepperoni. Server was attentive and friendly. We went on a Sunday afternoon, 7TV’s, 6 had the NewEngland Patriots on. You’re in New England, what do you expect. One super nice thing: sound was on for the game, but at half time they turned the sound off and put music on. I really appreciated that! Will go again when I’m in the Boston area next time.

Good service and nice feeling of the place, but pizza was little burned and meatballs on it were cold. Strange combination.

Review for takeout pizza: We had the cauliflower pizza – yum and incredibly filling and a cheese pizza with hot peppers(too hot!). Both were really good. Unlike some pizzas, these are really filling where a couple of slices are enough. I thought the crust was a good size – not thin crust but not too thick either. I didn’t love the taste of the dough but for the price, you get a good sized pizza and will fill you up. It is more gourmet than Bertuccis and Papa Ginos and about 25% more $ than those places. I’m not sure it’s worth the much higher cost but we’ll be back because they had a lot of variety of pizzas to choose from and the pizzas were excellent.

Nice staff and management. REALLY wanted to like it. We ordered the meatball appetizer — not much taste and what taste they had wasn’t great. Coal Fired Wings — they were decent but you could make the exact same wings at home on your grill. Not much flavor besides char, which is good… but nothing special. We also had a salad which was decent. We sat outside on a nice day — unfortunately we were constantly attacked by bees and the food left us feeling unsatisfied which is the worst feeling after eating out… besides bee stings. Bee stings are a worse feeling. Unfortunately flat.

It was my fiancés grandfather’s birthday and we had a group of 11 people so from the start your experience can go either way. When you walk in its a warm atmosphere with lots of Boston/Sports references on the wall. I was coming from work so was a late addition to the group and every single employee that we dealt with was fantastic! The waiter was attentive but by no means badgering us and the manager?(I’m not sure if he was a waiter helping another waiter out or is he was a manager) helped bring some of the food over and brought over more drinks for the table. A+ for the Staff The group had 2 orders of wings and 5 – 6 pizzas, the wings were great but did have the crispy touch to them(not my favorite but the wings were that tasty). The pizza was delicious and we had at least fore styles of pizza on the table! The beer was cold and had many different and local styles right on tap which is always a big plus in my book! A+ for food and drink! Great experience I can’t wait to go back!

All the food here is great, pizza, wings and meatballs. The outside seating is very nice too. Big inside bar, and great staff. We have been here a few times and it has been always very good.

Absolutely love this pizza! We decided to check out this location on a Thursday night recently. The staff is incredibly friendly. The atmosphere is upbeat and fun. Great beer selection. The pizza is the best I’ve had in this area. It is a little over priced, but we’ll worth it in my opinion! We have ordered to go a few times since our visit, and will definitely be back!

This was our 1st and last try for this Restaurant. WEEI host Christian Fauria and Anthony’s Co-Owner Dan Marino raved about this place. We ordered a pepperoni and onions Large Pizza and the Egglant Marino LargePizza as well as a small cheese pizza. Each person in our party(a total of 5) tasted a slice of each Pizza and all agreed that the Pizza was very poorly made. In my opinion, a pizza’s crust is the most critical factor in determining whether a pizza is edible. These pizzas had the worst crust that I have ever tried. The pizzas tasted like the crust were frozen. There are many better choices in the area. Bertucci’s, Comella’s, and Papa Ginos pizzas are all much better and more affordable choices. Most importantly, they are edible with great crusts. Maybe this style of pizza takes some getting used to, but I have been eating pizza for over 40 years and I can honestly say that this pizza, along with Papa Johns, is the worst pizza that I have ever tried. On a positive note, my wallet will be a little heavier due to not having to overpay(58 dollars and change for 2 large and 1 small) for this food in the future.

So this is my first try at ACFP and I have to that I’m very impressed. Our party of 5 got there at 11:45, just before the lunch time rush and were seated towards the back. This isn’t your typical pizza place that I’m used to which isI just ordering at a counter then get my pizza. No this place is like like an upscale bar/restaurant with great pizzas, meatballs and wings. We ordered some beers(I got the $ 4 Sam Adams Red Brick draft) and ordered the wings as a starter which we were surprised that they aren’t buffalo wings but served with a few spices with caramelized onions & focaccia bread. The wings were nicely toasted on the outside and very juicy on the inside. So off to a great start. I ordered the lunch size Paul & Young Ron pizza which has meatballs, sausage, hot or sweet peppers(I got the Hot) & ricotta cheese which came to be about $ 10. We waited a while for the pizza to come out and we saw that the place quickly filled up which meant we had to wait a little while. No problem as the waiter came out and gave us a small meatball platter on the house! Very impressed and very tasty meatballs. So overall, I’m definitely coming back, even if it is to sit outside on the patio or relax at their outside bar.

Brand new Pizza Restaurant at University Station in Westwood. Superb! Looking forward to patronizing in the future as the employees are friendly, the pizza is great(interesting concept of ONLY coal firing), and the prices aren’t too high. Superior service, staff, and above all super convenient!(5 minutes from my house!) 5 stars. Will be returning. Located on University Ave in Westwood, in a small plaza with Fidellity and Starbucks. Exit 13 off Rt. 128.
