Really disappointed after my first trip to Lisa’s. Been meaning to try it forever and couldn’t have walked out of the place angrier. My wife called and placed an order a half hour before I would be back in town coming home from work. A pie, a calzone, and a salad. They say a half hour til pickup, perfect timing. So I walk in a half hour later and see the guy preparing a calzone to throw into the oven and immediately I knew they didn’t even start it yet. I pay, then ask, «Is that my calzone that just went in the oven?» I get a response from the pizza guy«Yeah, it takes 5 or 10 minutes.» I reply«No it doesn’t, I worked at a pizza place growing up and I know a calzone takes longer than a pie.» He gives me a nasty look and proceeds to argue with me «We said it would be a half hour!» «Yeah and you just threw something in the oven that takes 15 – 20 minutes to cook. Any pizza guy who knows anything knows that to be true. Meanwhile my pie was already out of the oven and would have been ice cold by the time I ate that after waiting for the calzone. I told them to just keep it and they refunded me for the calzone. Pretty sad business practices, even sadder cuz the pizza wasn’t awful.

I have been ordering pizza’s here for years and they are great. My wife and I also have dined in and have had different meals off their menu, they were very good too. We have never had a bad experience. Their new location on 3 rd Avenue allow you to find on street parking by the store.

Good pizza, good food. Like the new location much better than there old one. If you haven’t tried them in a while try them again. They were very busy at lunch time but I was able to in a get a slice relatively quickly.

Maybe the service sucks sometimes. but that’s what happens when you’re busy. My family use to own a pizzeria and there’s just nothing you could do at some points. But holy hell, the pizza is awesome. And my service has been great. I’ll look past bad service if it has food this good. And after working in a pizzeria for 5 years, I know good pizza. It has a cool little ambiance too, clean look with TVs. Definitely will be back.

May be my new favorite spot for pizza in Bergen County. This pizzeria has seating area for you to dine in and of course, bring your own. My girlfriends and I usually have our girls night start here. We bring 2 bottles of wine and enjoy great food. My favorite is the Lisa’s salad and their app of pepperoni pinwheels. But their pizza really is delecious and one of the best around in our area.

The pizza is tasty but this place is a ripoff. I ordered their 12″ thin crust whole wheat pizza($ 6.95) & I asked if they could make it into a white pizza. When I picked up the order I noticed they charged $ 9.95, I didn’t say anything because I know usually specialty pizzas are higher in price. When I finally sat down to have lunch, I opened the pizza box & saw that my «pizza» was really just a whole wheat wrap! Seriously, they over charged me for something I could have made in the toaster oven. I like their pizza but I won’t be going back.

Lisa’s has a good pizza, but the delivery and customer service need some improvement. This is the second time that it has taken over an hour for the pizza to arrive, but this time when the delivery boy actually did come, he brought the wrong pie(thankfully we checked before he left). After waiting another 45 minutes after he left and said he would be right back, I called. I told them that I ordered 2 hours ago and they rushed me off the phone and said it should be there in another minute. But in no way tried to make the situation right. When the pizza finally did come, it tasted like it had been sitting around for an hour. I get it, I work in the food industry, things happen… but when they do you should do something to make them right and not by saying sorry and delivering a soggy semi cold pizza, that I waited 2 hours for and charge me $ 30. We live in an area that has a pizza place on every corner, what makes the difference is how you treat your customers.

Stayed there for 25 mins after placing an order for three slices. The one employee told me «you didn’t order from me» I said no, I order from her(the other employee). Was not the response I was looking for. There for I will not be going back to that establishment. Can’t fix incompitence.

Lisa’s Pizza is one of the best pizzerias in Northern NJ. The new location is great — better parking, and it larger inside with more tables to dine in. Service is always fast and friendly. I’ve eaten there many times and everything I have had from Lisa’s is good — all the varieties of pizzas, garlic knots, pepperoni pinwheels, mozzarella sticks, hot sandwiches, etc. If you love pizza, try Lisa’s.

You don’t go to this place for a fancy dinner. Keep it simple, and you’ll be very happy. I grew up with Lisa’s, and their Round Sicilian pizza is still my favorite pizza in the world. Their regular pizza is also great, but Tony D’s might be slightly better. But the Round Sicilian is something totally unique to Lisa’s — I’ve never seen anything like it anywhere else — and it’s delicious. It depends on how you like your pizza: A little on the doughy side, or thin crust super crispy style. If you like your crust to have a little chew to it, and flavor(as I do), you’ll love it. If you want some artisan pizza look elsewhere, but judging this place for what it is – a classic neighborhood no-frills slice and soda joint — it’s excellent. It’s also owned and run by the same father and son team for as long as I can remember. They don’t make them like this anymore.

My husband and I went to Lisa’s at the new location. Because of the parking we never went to the old place. Just have to say we loved their pizza and that will be our new go to place.

When I reviewed their original location I gave them five stars, today I want to give them two but they still have the best round sicilian going. Their menu seems to be brand new in corresponding to their move a block or two away. I went to place a phone order and pretty much everything I wanted I was told«we’re out». I’m not quite sure how you can be out of a sausage roll or a chicken parm roll. It’s pretty much dough and ingredients, which technically since it’s a pizza place, should have on hand at all time. Needless to say I was pretty disappointed along with the rest of my family since we all picked something off the«menu». This made me drive to another pizza shop down the street to complete the rest of my order. Why have a menu if you’re not going to make things? I call up, I order what I want, they make it, I pay for it. It’s a win-win, you make money, I get food. When I got to the store to get pizza(glad they had that in stock), I was told they make a lot of things ahead of time and sometimes they run out. I really don’t know how to process that mentally. While my family and I have been going here since the 80’s, I might have to rethink things on this.
