Pulse Cafe

I was in the area and was told by a friend to try this café for lunch. I likely never would have found it on my own as it is in an off the beaten path area of Westwood (across from the TJ Maxx/​KMART). However, I’m so glad I was told about it because they offer such a different vibe than a Starbucks or other chain cafés. My friend and I ate there and got salads for lunch and they were fresh, interesting and delish. Nice assortment of seasonal ingredients with different house made dressings. They had the option to do a small salad and ½ a sandwich so I got a Chicken Kale Caesar wrap as well. That also was tasty.
Grabbed a coffee to go afterwards. They serve a specialty brand of coffee (from Vienna) and also a nice point of distinction. Even the iced teas, water and other drinks were all specialty brands. Prices were great here too. I think our whole lunch was under $ 10 each.
Anyway, I would highly recommend dropping in if you are in search of a cool place to chill and have breakfast or lunch or looking to grab and go.
PS: There is a fitness club inside, but you don’t have to be a member to hang at the café. And no one bugs you or is trying to get you to join. oh and free wifi too.
