Tastefully Done

We used Tastefully Done catering for my son’s baptism and it was AMAZING! My guests raved about the food and everyone asked what company I used!

Nicest staff ever. They treat my girls so well and that goes a loooonnnnggg way with me. Plus their food is awesome! I love the off-​the-​beaten-​path feel of this place. A lot of times when you’re there they’re prepping for a big catering job while running their kitchen flawlessly. It’s clean and you can tell they have a real passion for quality of food. Their soups of the day are awesome… as is everything else I’ve ever gotten here. From cold sandwiches to hot sandwiches to the delish panzanella salad we got there once as a special. Great food, great people. The kind of place I HAPPILY support.

Great food, wonderful people! We were looking for a quick bite to eat after a long day of travel on the Amtrak train… and coming home to an empty fridge! I took the prior recommendation for chicken salad and it did not disappoint. The brownies were the perfect ending. Cannot say enough about the friendly people who work here. I will go out of my way to come back here for lunch.

Stopped here for a quick freshly made hot breakfast before 9:30 Acela. Delicious food, friendly staff. Eggs, omelets, waffles pancakes, bagels and fresh fresh fruit all available options for breakfast. Lunch menu looks awesome too. Tucked away in lower level/​parking garage in office building across the street from amtrak station. Look for the signs!

I decided to try this place based on the previous reviews and it has not been a disappointment. Their chicken salad sandwich is amazing! Highly recommend. Also, it’s nice to deal with friendly staff. Owner is usually around and is pretty friendly himself. Only thing wrong with him is that he is a Patriots fan :) Go Bears!

If you want great home cooked local food and not the usual chain food instant lunch then this is the place to go. Fresh made daily soups and turkey chili are outstanding and the fresh cooked turkey and special salads are unbeatable. Thursday home cooked roast special is my favorite along with the brownies and cookies!

I almost never write reviews, but when somethings good it deserves to be recognized. I’m big on lunch, sets the pace for my whole day. This is by far the best place in the area. The daily specials chance every day and are also fantastic. Furthermore, every single meal is made FRESH and to-​order. Nothing is pre-​made. I can’t say enough good things. I started working in this area in January and i eat here as often as i can. Just today i got the Mia’s Chicken Cutlet sub on a braided and you can tell that the oil in the fry must be changed very regularly and of very high quality because its one of the freshest chicken cutlets i’ve had. Can’t go wrong with any of the sandwiches, soups, or salads. TOP NOTCH!

This place is located in an office building right across from the university ave amtrack station. It is pretty well hidden but if you drive around to the back of the building you can access the café through the garage underneath. There are parking spots marked.
The food is fantastic. The chicken salad is the best chicken salad I have had hands down. They do a big catering business as well, I have had their food for dinner meetings and it has been great. The brownies are also amazing. They have a different soup everyday and usually at least one special sandwich or entrée. You can call in your order so it is ready before you get there as well.
The staff is super friendly and sweet. Give them a try if you work in the area. They do breakfast as well.

Tastefully Done is located under an office building which makes it a hard find but once you find it you will love it! They serve breakfast and lunch Monday through Friday and it is delicious! They have a variety of food and it always tastes great!!!

This has got to be one of the best kept secrets in the area. Located in the parking garage beneath the office building sits this little sub shop with big proportions and an awesome staff. Unfortunately you really gotta be looking for it to know it’s there as there is no outside signs except for the small one on the entry way door. The shop really caters to the employees of the various businesses located in the office building, but I work in the area and my co-​worker was kind enough to show me the place when we went out for lunch. Needless to say, since then, it has become a Friday ritual.
The staff is great, and like I said, the sanwiches are AWESOME! I suggest the Turkey Club, made with freshly cut (you can see the turkeys on the counter) thanksgiving style turkey loaded with bacon, tomato, and anything else you might want. The Dan’s Dynamo is a great burger and comes with fries for a really great price as well. To top it off, they have some of the best brownies around! (if you aren’t already stuffed) They have great soups and salads, as well as all the typical deli dishes you would expect. If you are in the area, I highly suggest stopping in!

This place is hard to find, but they do a very good job with breakfast and lunch. They are in the Basement of the office building and you wouldn’t know it’s there when passing by. They do a nice job on catering for meetings, office lunches or just pop into their dining area.
Karen and the crew are very nice and the eat in dining area is comfortable clean. Prices are affordable, daily specials are available along with a hot and cold food menu. They are open early am and usually close mid afternoon.
