Sherwin-Williams Paint Store

I am very impressed with the store, products, and the service at Sherwin-​Williams. There was only 10 minutes left before closing. The sales clerk was helpful and unhurried. She explained the paint options, what was on sale and helped me select the proper paint finish for the rooms i needed to paint.
When one of the paints was not available, she upgraded me and gave me a discount greater than the difference. She honored the sale price on all the paint i bought. She stayed past closing and did not rush me, even took time to point out some options for another room i had not yet decided on colors for.
Excellent service. Very good prices. No need to go to the big box store.

After purchasing paint at two different stores (one big box and one hardware with nationally branded paint), I found myself frustrated and thinking I’d never find the colors and quality I wanted.
While doing some research on warm-​toned grays, I found blogger after blogger raving about Sherwin-​Williams «Mindful Gray.» I went to the store to get a sample of it and another color, and I was pleasantly surprised to be given both samples for the price of one. A bonus? I found that the «Mindful Gray» sample was enough to do all the cutting-​in for my painting job.
I went back to buy two more gallons of «Mindful Gray» to finish up my project and start another, plus I purchased a gallon of «Chrysanthemum» and two quarts of «Soulful Blue.»
All of these colors are part of a palette at S-​W put together to help consumers match colors.
When I made a mistake painting, I called the store to ask for advice. I was pleasantly surprised when they suggested a solution that didn’t involve buying more stuff.
Customer service at the store was excellent, and when I completed a survey about service I received an email from the store manager expressing gratitude.
I’ve learned my lesson about paint: buy the best quality you can afford. S-​W has a variety of qualities, but even their least expensive one is obviously better than what I bought elsewhere. Save yourself the pain. Also — buy local. S-​W may be a franchise, but by the time I left the store I knew where everyone lived and how excited they’d been to buy their first homes. That made the visit feel special.
