They have great prices, quick delivery, and late hours which out does a lot of the other bread and butter Chinese places. Like most of the other restaurants, it is «Standard Chinese Distributor Food». Which is good or bad depending on what you’re looking to eat.

Decent American Chinese food. I do really enjoy their boneless spareribs combination. Well-done of course. That puts a nice char on the meat for that nice-nice flavor. Yeah… I meant to do that twice. The egg roll is nothing special, but hey why not. **Positive note ** Like all other American Chinese food joints, anything you can imagine will be ready in 10 minutes. General Tsaos chicken? 10 minute. KungPao chicken? 10 minute. suckling pig? 10 minute. ½ a steer? 10 minute. Food for 400 guests? 10 minute. Amazing! I need a magic wok, cause shit, I wish I can move like that in the kitchen. It’s like magic. Whole Lotta magic.

Tried placing an order and was hung up on 2 times. The third time i called back i figured it was just a connection issue but they said no u ordered so i hung up. I got more than one person here who wants food and who doesn’t tell the person the price and how long? Or even says thank you for your buisness! I swear i feel like im living in the twlight zone.

This is my go to spot when I’m craving Chinese. I’ve tried almost everything on the menu. The pork fried rice, chicken fried rice, rib tips, fried shrimp, crab sticks, crab rangoon, steamed dumplings, and shrimp egg rolls are fantastic. Everything is made fresh always, when you get it it’s still steaming hot. When I’m sick I get their wonton soup and when I’m grabbing a quick lunch I get their Hunan chicken. I’ve never had issues with this place. My only complaint is sometimes when you order for delivery it can take 30 minutes to an hour to receive your food. But here’s a tip if you order for pick up your food will be done in 15 minutes. There’s not much room to dine in but most people order out. They offer drinks inside like soda, ice tea and juices. If you like spicy get their hot pepper oil it goes well with the fried rice. The lo mein and fried rice house special option is sooo good, it has a little of everything in it. All of their specials are reasonable prices.

Solid Americanized Chinese food with delivery. Best in town and they deliver promptly. I didn’t love the steamed dumplings– too doughy, but Lo mein was very good. Best local for wetherfield of the options.

To be fair I tried this not only once, but twice to make sure I hadn’t gotten a dud meal. The rice and lo mein are terribly bland. I ordered light onions and it came with chunks of onions. Boneless spare ribs were dry and the chicken wings I ordered hadn’t seen a fryer since yesterday. My brother pointed out that I was the 5th order of the day so it only leaves me to believe that they were reheated. Egg roll was ok. Worse part customer service is terrible barely greeted me when I came and picked the food. Asked me what I ordered and charged my card and left it on the counter and walked away. I had to wave him down for a pen to sign the receipt. Never again will I go here. Ming moon has faired well in the Wethersfield area, but definitely no one will replace Black Bamboo in West Hartford…

I have tried every Chinese joint in town over the last ten years and this place is the best. The General Tso’s is the best I have ever had. Give the wonton/egg drop soup a try, I’m addicted!

I usually order take out from Ming Moon in Wethersfield but some suggested this place to me so decided to give it a try. On a Sunday evening I placed an ordered for delivery. They said it would be about 40 minutes, a tad long but ok. Well 40 mins came and went, but no food yet. After about 70 minutes I called. The guy remembered me and said it would be right there. Another 15 minutes past and no food. I called again, this time a lady answered and said 2 mins… and finally 5 minutes later the food arrived. I am pretty sure the delivery guy was the same guy I talked to when I called. So I believe they forgot about my order… In total it took over an hour and half for my food to arrive. That is unacceptable! Now onto the actual food: We ordered the egg drop soup(which was cold), chicken and broccoli with brown rice, spring rolls, and steamed dumplings. The food was pretty standard Chinese fast food. I really liked the dumplings. If I am in the mood for Chinese take out I may give them another shot.

Order was wrong, asked for extra hot sauce and soy sauce, all I got was duck sauce! Top this — one of the fortune cookies, was pre– ate before it arrived. The taste gets it two stars that’s it! Won’t be ordering from here again.

Sesame chicken was overly sweet… General tsous probably was too but I think the spice covered it up. There was a lot of breading and the chicken was dry, so the food was pretty rough to chew on…

Went in for my lunch break. The lunch specials are a great deal. The food is pretty good. The location is right next to a popular pawn shop that has all types of people lurking around. I had a strange homeless type guy staring at me through the window while i was eating. Then of course asked for money when I walked out. I gave him my left over rice_he then asked for a ride — I said no. I suggest just getting take out — the boneless spare ribs were better then the general tsos.

I like their egg rolls, Rangoon and the stir fries. If you stand at the counter you’ll see to the right inside the kitchen bins of pre cooked food that I have seen them taken from the freezer in cartons and dump into each bin; ribs, chicken fingers etc. When you order they then throw them into the fryer or broiler if they are ribs etc. So it looks like they buy most of the non-in house made dishes from a distributer frozen and just dump them into the bins until they re-cook them. Isn’t that the same if I bought egg rolls in the frozen food isle? Does any Chinese take out place actually hand make dumplings or anything?

If you’re in the mood for low end Chinese food then this is the place to be. The food isn’t special, and tastes like every other low end Chinese place. If you really want great Chinese, drive down the Silas Deane to Ming Dynasty. PRO: Quick cooking Fair price CON: Quality can be hit or miss Food can be greasy

I love you Wang! Big Time Yum Yum! Always good, fresh, friendly, delicious, and they have Veggie dumplings, and other vegetarian options! A little out of the way for me, but always worth it!
