Oasis Bar & Grill

Bike week, this is an excellent place to go especially if you have a fear of midgets. Shooting midgets with paintballs was great fun it proves how the white male of normal height is dominant

Saw a flier advertising Oasis while staying at Fort Whaley it stated they had 30 Craft Beers on tap so we decided to give it a try.
What a disappointment … Definitely a «Dive Bar «and not in a good sense, as I can appreciate a truly classic Dive Bar!
The building looked like it was in a state of remodel, but after talking to the locals it’s been like this forever.
They do have 30 or so taps but most of them are taken up by Big Domestic Beer Companies … Bud light, Miller Lite, Coors Light, etc. Some tap handles I didn’t recognize so when I asked the bartender for a list she said we don’t do that. WTF, you want your customers to just guess? She didn’t even proceed to tell us what they had. My wife liking Troegs Brewing recognized the tap for Troeginator and ordered that. The bartender than asked if that was the Pale Ale or Double Bock, not even knowing what beers she had on tap by name or being able to just read the tap handle I guess.
Didn’t even bother ordering food … After seeing the state of the dining room & bar I was scared what I’d catch coming out of the kitchen!
Later in the evening we were at a local brewery talking to residents of the area and many made the comment, «We’ve been there ONCE». And we understand why!
