Gently Used

New owners are friendly and great to work with! I stop in on occasion as I’m passing by, and they always have new items to look through. Prices are good, and I like the variety they have.

Very good people to deal with — bought an antique brass bed a few weeks ago with California queen long rails — Gently Used 2 had the proper size rails and instead of giving me the typical run around allowed me to swap the rails and did not charge me. It’s little details like this that make you want to shop and do business with people like this. Beyond being nice enough to let me exchange the bed rails (and avoid cost of plasma torch cutting and welding) — they realized someone tall with a California sized mattress looking for a brass bed will come along. Also made me put down a deposit in a separate envelope with note that they returned when I brought in the other rails. Not only kindhearted and helpful but professional and businesslike — rare in the used furniture world. As a result I walked out with a nice Lane mid-​century solid hardwood end table bar cabinet and a early 20^th century folding metal display table for under $ 100.
Good place to find hidden gem furniture pieces, estate sale finds, and full sets at good prices. Attentive service and solid refurbishing/​refinishing of pieces they have uncovered on buying trips. Walked my purchases out to the car and transacts business on a handshake as it should be.

I debated on doing a Unilocal review. The reason being, it’s my secret AWESOME place to find cool discoveries for DIY projects. Why go to yard sales and drive around for hours. My time is limited and every time I go in there is brand new discoveries for me to look at. I’m also on a tight budget so I can take stuff in and trade or sell things for items in their shop. Staff is down to earth and nice. Prices are moderate to pricey, but I’m also on tight budget so it’s all relative.

I purchased a «real» leather lazy boy couch and love seat for an unbeatable price service was fantastic and they delivered for cheap. Steve was great and the staff was great! I highly recommend Gently Used.

Steve is awesome. He was courteous and helpful on the phone and in person. I found his ad on Craigslist and called him up. He was willing to hold the item and then deliver (for an additional fee of course). Excellent service and the item was exactly as described.
