Place is nice, clean, and in good location but quality of food is so so. Checked it out for the first time today, won’t be coming back

You know it’s too bad that somehow they can’t get it right. They have the potential and if done right, for example, their sausage and cheese pizza is good… if done right! But they either don’t care of providing a consistent product and consistent excellent service. Mediocre won’t work guys. You have potential!

Good but no where near as good as the original. Order a fresh pie, not the slices that get re heated. The Armands in Lombard is much better. In Wheaton I would say that it is the best pizza but that’s Wheaton. Blows away Bricks.

Piss poor. Had some groupon bucks and did t want to waste cash. Was so hungry and made a horrible mistake. Very poor quality in pizza all around. Ordered the 16″ uncle mikes red pepper and Armand’s sausage because of some positive Unilocal review that recommended it. Never again. NOTHING on the pizza had flavor. Like nothing. Not EVENONESINGLE ingredient. Not the sauce. Not the dough. Not the cheese. Felt you needed add salt for flavor. And anytime you have to add more and more salt on any pizza means it has no flavor in the real world. It was like a bad Sarpinos or whatever crappy chain that is. Really really cr*ppy pizza. Like really really bad. I feel cheated from groupon for even having more Sh*tty groupings for people to get conned on. Like it was really bad. If you are going to ancestors. Hours sausage at least that should have good flavor or taste somewhat fresh. Have a groupon valued at $ 20 but I would’ve cheating myself again if I ordered there. So not sure what do. Like really bad. No flavor at all. Such a negative review. But the pizza was really bad. Threw out more than half of it. 1 Star is stretching it.

Terrific Pizza. HORRIBLEDELIVERYMAN. He called when he arrived as we live in a condo building. When I answered he said«yah this is Armand’s & your name is not on the building». Due to his rude attitude I asked my boyfriend to come down with me because I hate confrontation.(He was an elderly man with a long beard for identification purposes). We went downstairs and he was VERYRUDE. He scolded us for literally 4 – 5 minutes about«standard protocol«for ordering takeout. I responded this is how we order from all places. They call when we they get here as We live in a secured building. He then continued to scold me like I was a child as «what if he didn’t have a cell phone». It was getting to a ridiculous point. I asked if we could just have the pizza and pay him. He then advised I would have to take the pizza out of the delivery bag if we wanted it.(Hopefully he would tip me as I’m apparently the delivery person now). The pizza picture is attached. Obviously it slid all over because I missed my delivery training at Armand’s. It was completely insane. I don’t want anyone to have a bad day but even if you are being unnecessarily disrespectful and Blatantly rude to a customer who did nothing to warrant it, is foolish and bad business. Hopefully Armand’s can provide better customer service to their customers. The gentleman who took my order on the phone was quite kind. We enjoy the pizza a lot. I would like to order again however I’m not interested in meeting this man again.

I really enjoy the Elmhurst location. Dine in, full menu, and beer. The pizza always great, hot and fresh. I’m not sure what they are trying to accomplish here in Wheaton with the express location. You can dine in but pizza without beer doesn’t work for us so we have carried out on 4 occasions Now. This location also sells pizza by the slice; I have had a suspicion that on at least one other occasion the pizza I ordered was already prepared. I don’t know if I’m right but the pizza was not hot, and the crust was a little spongy; disappointing.

I’ve tried pizza all of the Chicago land area. Tired of Lou’s and Giordano’s, I wanted a local authentic pizza experience. Armand’s is the real deal. The fresh ingredients, their perfection on thin crust and the fact they offer more cheeses than just mozzarella make them #1 in my book. Fontinella cheese and garlic are a must for me. We are weekly repeats. And all the friends and family we’ve introduced to Armand’s pizza at the same thing: best. Pizza. EVER.

Picked up pizza from here recently and it was excellent. We ordered pepperoni, mushroom and artichoke hearts. Loved the fresh ingredients, employees were very friendly and the place was very clean. Wish they were open on Sundays.

Good service, good pizza, taking a star off for onion on the pizza when I told them I have an allergy. Will give it another shot though as the second pizza was terrific!

My daughter and I tried Armand’s for the first time yesterday, thin crust cheese for her and the 1956 special for me, a thumbs up from us both. Our pizzas were ready for pickup on time, the restaurant was clean, bright, and spacious, the staff was polite and efficient and the pizza did not disappoint! The cheese had a good thin crust and«good cheesiness»(direct quote from my 14 year old). The toppings on my special were generous and good quality(no canned ‘shrooms or peppers in sight) and the amount of cheese and sauce were a good balance. Overall we enjoyed our first experience with Armand’s and will aim to return soon.

Really had a taste for a sausage /beef combo sandwich, with the works. Ordered 3 sandwiches for pick-up. When we got home… we weren’t impressed. Both the beef and sausage was pretty bland. The grilled peppers were tasty… but way too greasy. The bread had completely soaked thru, making it impossible to hold and eat… ended up using a fork and knife. I have read the reviews and this place is supposed to have good pizza… maybe we should have ordered that instead. Bottom line: for the price I paid, it should have been much better. Kinda hesitant to try the pizza, if they couldn’t get a sandwich right.

We love Armand’s pizza. We moved from Chicago and the location on division is great. But here… not so great. Customer service is awful, they don’t answer their phone, and aren’t open on Sunday’s. Today is a Saturday and for some reason they wouldn’t pick up the phone so my husband walked over and saw they were closed with no note on why! Someone was inside and chose to ignore the customers outside. We will take our business elsewhere thanks! I wouldn’t buy the groupon either since their hours are so weird!

The food taste fantastic, but if the store wants to do better, they have to improve their customer service. We ordered a pizza online early on a Saturday night. There was no estimated pick-up time, just«ASAP.» When we arrive 20 minutes later we were told they forgot to submit the order to the kitchen and it would be another 25 minute wait for our pizza. While we waited, several other customers came in and many were told their pizzas were delayed. We watched the cooks and counter staff constantly trying to organize the dozens of pink order slips. It took over an hour to get a thin crust pizza, from when the order was received on the receipt to getting the pie in our hands. It should never have taken that long. I am surprised by the store’s low Unilocal rating, but it’s not because of the food. If they just get their act together, they could do a bang up business in downtown Wheaton.

Pizza was tough and lacked flavor. They quoted an hour for a pick up order, and the pizza appeared to have been sitting in a warmer for awhile. Would not go back, as there are much better options for pizza in the area.

We decided to give Armand’s a try instead going with our usual pizza place. I was very disappointed in the quality of this pizza, I consider it slightly better than a frozen pizza. It looks nothing like the picture on their website, which looked pretty appetizing. The crust is rubbery and the ingredients aren’t very flavorful. If you like cheese you will be disappointed, as they go very light on the cheese, it barely covers and doesn’t reach the edge of the crust. Meh, not very good.

Went here a few weeks ago so perhaps the glitches of a new restaurant have been worked out. Ordered a large pizza and a salad to eat in. It took an hour to get the pizza! Although it was ok it should not have taken that long. The server attempted to deliver other patron’s orders to us a few times. When salad arrived it was in a plastic to go container. You would think it would be served in a different bowl for customers eating in. There was also an inch of water from wet lettuce in bottom of container. May give it another try but not going to wait an hour for a so so pizza with slow chaotic service. Also. Not a lot of smiles there! Friendlier engaging service is free and goes a long way.

Great addition to the area. The Pizza and stuffed artichokes are the best your going to find. This location is as good as the original Armands in Elmwood Park. I highly recommend you give it a try, Tuesday 2 for 1 is a real bargin.

Food is okay, not as good as Elmwood Park location. Manager seems flaky, he was taking calls on his cell phone as he was taking my order… service not great.
