They now have table side guacamole which is quite good. The chips/salsa are good as well. We thought the queso dip was awful, we thankfully had gotten it free with an offer so we didn’t have to feel bad about not eating it. Panko onion rings, fries and chicken crispers were«meh.» Burger our son got also just ok. Surprisingly it was really crowded at 2 pm on a Saturday, but by the time we left at 3:30 it was quite empty.

The bathrooms were cleaner than the floor near our eating area. AND they had soap in the dispensers. The general public area is filthy. I stuck to the floor and the table. Every wall was filthy 12″ up from the floor. Our server was nice. The menu was ambitious but the food that made it to our table was average.

Good food and pleasant staff. The menu is extensive and prices are reasonable. A good place to go.

I am not going to say a word about the food. Chili’s is Chili’s. The food is the same at all their locations, and it’s always good. So let’s talk about the incompetent people they have working at this location. I was immediately greeted by the rudest host in the world. Once the host seated us, I went to him and asked if I could sit in a booth vs a table. They are more comfortable and I am old. Before I could even finish my sentence, he waved his hand and said«sit where ever you want, I don’t care», and turned his back and walked away. He should care, that’s his only job there is to make sure people are seated and comfortable. He was probably worried about his ponytail. Seriously, what dude still wears a ponytail. Oh well, no more Chili’s in Wheaton for me or my family.

OK food, but roll of dice on which person you get as your server. Been here a few times to meet daughter for lunch. Ask for Christina. She is very polite and understands that some customers have limited time for lunch. Thanks Christina.

I ordered from the Chili’s to Go menu on my phone this morning. I placed my order around 10am for pickup at 12:30. My order was ready for pickup upon my prompt arrival. No waiting which was wonderful! The food was what I expected from Chili’s… not gourmet but better than anything I can make at home. I enjoyed the Chicken Chipotle bowl and I got the Steak with loaded potatoes and mac for mom, I had requested a few customizations which were executed correctly. We both enjoyed our meals. For dessert we tried the Toffee brownie, it was very rich but made for an enjoyable Easter treat. I would definitely order to go from Chili’s again!

I think this particular chilis gets a bad rap from wheaton yuppies. It is a chilis after all. Though, contrary to my previous statement I WAS about to give this place a 3 star review. Sat down(with my GF) at 9:15 to an empty eatery and didn’t get my food until 9:55. Then the food came, absolutely worth our extended wait. So, would I take a date here for a night of long awkward silences and pauses? No… A good friend or significant other? For sure! Service is friendly enough, but all in all the only thing this place lacks is time management.

Came for desert only. Lava cake and toffee brownie. Both were disappointing. Bad cake and bad ice cream. Service was good.

Sad to say that I had one of the strangest experiences here. I am over 21, but live in California where vertical ID’s last for years after becoming 21. The waiter and manager both denied my ID, citing city code and corporate policy. The whole issue was incredibly odd. Lost this customer for life.

Came here out of convenience. Eh. Eh=3 stars. Service was less than average, but not horrible. I ordered the nachos as an appetizer and it’s not what I expected at all. I was hoping for a bunch of chips with cheese, and we ordered extra fajita beef for it as well. They gave us about 15? chips with each chip having a lot of cheese. Hmm good, but not what I expected. No one asked if our meal was ok, I wouldn’t have returned it, but it would’ve been brought up. Hubs got the steak and chicken fajitas. It came with a condiment tower, rice, beans and 3 tortillas. He ended up needing more. I got the crispy chicken tacos. They were essentially chicken tenders with a sweet BBQ sauce on it, with rice and beans. Surprisingly good! Had to wait a while to get our check, but hey, 6:30pm is busy I’m sure. Also don’t mess with those game things on the table. Tricky lil things! Hubs almost played some games that said access granted, then in much smaller writing it asked if he wanted to cancel the $ 1.99 charge. Jeez!

My fiancé and I had dinner tonight at Chilis in Dananda Square in Wheaton, IL. The service was superb. I am a server/bartender myself and am very critical of servers. I wish I could remember her name but I cant! She is a tall, thin blonde woman with an accent. She greeted us quickly and offered appetizers. She was very friendly and had a great attitude. Our salsa and drinks were refilled without having to ask and well before they were empty. I ordered the steak and she asked me if I would like to cut into it to see that it was cooked properly while she stood at the table and waited. I have never experienced that before, even in high end restaurants. She was probably one of the best servers I have had in my life and if we served steak at my restaurant I would steal that extra step from her! Overall it was a very pleasant experience, food and service went above expectations.

Chili’s is one of those chain restaurants that I’m aware of, but rarely ever visit. What’s on the menu there or what are they famous for? Maybe their Chili, I really don’t know much about it. I’ve visited once before but it never stuck out in my mind as being good or bad, it’s just one of those places I drive past and don’t think much of. One day while spending time with friends was brought here for dinner due to its proximity to my residence. The first thing I noticed about Chili’s was it’s very very dark inside. It reminds me quite a bit of a previously reviewed place called Alfie’s as far as how dimly lit it is. Once we were seated I noticed there was a tablet you could actually order from rather than utilizing your waitress. I decided due to my unfamiliarity with the menu to thoroughly peruse the menu in search of something I might enjoy and after going through every page I settled on a Bacon Burger. For the side I picked fries and soon the time to wait for the food had begun. My friends ordered a side of chips and salsa, let’s go over these before delving into the main course. The chips themselves were pretty bland, lacking in salt, flavor, seasoning and any sort of taste. The salsa actually wasn’t that bad and had better chips been utilized this might have turned out fairly well. But it didn’t, and instead I was left with chips and salsa far inferior to the ones given out for free at my favorite Mexican restaurant. The bacon burger I received was a little on the small side but was well done and fairly crisp. The bun held together well and wasn’t too soft or too hard. The bacon was a little sparse but overall this was an adequate burger. I also tried a few fries and weren’t really impressed. Chili’s like TGI Friday’s and Applebees are places I’m fairly unfamiliar with. I’ll actually say that it slightly exceeded my expectations as I went in with zero expectations and came away at least moderately satisfied. While I wouldn’t be planning to revisit any time soon I’d go back to Chili’s under the same scenario(friends are paying). I’ll give it two stars.

Horrible service. Gregory the bartender was too busy to properly service bar and lounge area. No manager to complain to… of course no comment card to be had. Do not waste your time or money.

I love Chili’s in general and this is one of the best locations. Great service every time. The wait staff is excellent. Talked to the general manager here a couple times when picking up food, super nice guy. They always agree to make me my favorite thing even though it’s no longer on the menu(Cajun Chicken Sandwich). Some of the Chili’s refuse to do this, which is dumb because I know they have the ingredients. Food comes out in a timely manner and is always good. The one time they made a mistake they gave us a nice discount and fixed their mistake quickly. What else can you ask for?

What can I say about Chili’s. First of all, a portion of their proceeds the whole month of September goes to help St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in Memphis, TN. As a matter of fact, the hospital has a house where parents can stay dedicated to Chili’s for all of their support. It even has the chili pepper on top of it. Anyway, they always pick one day out of that month where ALL, that’s 100%, of proceeds go to St. Jude’s. That alone is just amazing. Great food all around, and this specific location always had great service. We were not dissatisfied once. Chili’s customer for life!

This is still my favorite place for chips and salsa! They seem to change their menu often so sometimes what I liked the last time is gone. The restaurant is pretty loud. The timing of the service and food delivery seems a little off. They are starting to have little computer screens on each table. You can order dessert, review and pay your bill, and can also play games on it. I think you can pay extra for fancier games and maybe movies. I guess this is good for some people but it seems kind of sad to see people staring at screens instead of talking to each other. I like the Big Mouth Bites– little burgers– great flavor– with bacon!

Chilis has been a favorite for many, many years. We are big fans of the Chips & Salsa, although sometimes the salsa can be a bit runny. Over the years where ever we travel if we see a Chilis that is where we eat! Our favorite location is Wheaton, the staff is very attentive. Of course Chilis offers great value. You can sit in the bar and watch your favorite sporting event or have a a large booth for big groups.

It’s a chain restaurant. There is no need for long winded, dramatic play-by-plays. It’s a chain. It has food that you can eat. And you can enjoy yourself if you have good company. Who writes a review for Chili’s?! I can’t believe I just did!

Eh. This place is ok. Most of the food is okee-dokee. My nachos were burnt. I like nachos. I don’t like burnt ones. It made me sad. I went to Chili’s for my three favorite things: a bowl of cheese and broccoli soup(which was like a bowl of melted cheese with a few broccoli bits and some tomatoes and onions and it was so so delicious), the babyback ribs, and the Paradise Pie, a very awesome and huge warm seven-layer bar with chocolate and ice cream. So tasty. So I went last month, and I asked for the cheesey awesomeness soup, and the waitress gave me a shifty look and said they were out of it. This made me cry, but I thought I would try to get over it and wait till next time. Then, I went again today, and I asked again for some soup, and the waiter broke eye contact and said they no longer make it. I began wailing and gnashing my teeth and throwing soot on myself in mourning, and he kinda coldly suggested the other soups without even skipping a beat and giving me time to mourn. I refused any other soup. None will ever be as good. Now, clearly, this is probably not the fault of this particular Chili’s which is ok for the most part(although I’ve had cold food on several occasions here), but something should be done! That soup was awesome. Bring it back.

Very good. Ordered a classic combo of shrimp and sirloin. The steak was perfect, one of the best I have had in a while. The waitress was very accomodating to my special request(I wanted black beans instead of potatoes). The menu is very diverse, and our waitress was very nice. Hard to give it five stars, since my water was running low a bit of the time, but, I was just looking for something to complain about! Will be back!
