A year or two ago I wouldn’t have believed that I would be grocery shopping at the Dominick’s so much today. Yes, there are still a lot of expensive things, BUT I’ve been getting a lot of good sales there recently. I signed up for the Just for U program too, and now I get lots of personalized deals. Maybe they are finally trying to be competitive price-wise. I don’t do all of my grocery shopping here because non-sale stuff is too expensive, but the sales have been pretty good lately. Maybe give Dominick’s a try again, they’ve improved. It also helps that they are close to me and gas is expensive.

Customer Service here is HORRIBLE. Literally the worst experience I’ve ever had. Very dissatisfying employees, two of whom were beyond rude to myself and other paying customers. I will never go back to this Dominick’s.

This has gone through another remodel and is very pretty on the inside. You can make it as pretty as you want, but the prices are too high for me. I don’t think I’m alone as this store has not been busy the last few times I’ve been in it. I like to use coupons, but am not one of those extreme people. They are free money! Well, this store is not what I would call coupon friendly. I’m not asking for double off or anything weird, I would just like them to have the same policy for everyone. Sometimes they will take your coupons and sometimes they won’t. It’s getting to the point where I look at the cashier and try to remember my past experience with them before getting in line! I’m working near this store now, so I’m happy to say that there is a Stabucks inside it. The woman who is there early in the morning is VERY nice and helpful. She is one of those people who just add a smile to your morning. So stop by and visit the smiley Starbucks lady and get your groceries somewhere else!

This location is hit or miss. It could be something in the water but giving this location 3 stars would be too generous(2 ½ might be more appropriate). I have gone to the deli counter several times and have basically been ignored. For example, I went today and 3 people were at the deli counter and after waiting almost 5 minutes, someone finally asked me what I wanted(I waited because I had similar experiences here). One person said to the other if «that guy has been helped» when they were not doing anything themselves. Worse yet, when I get«helped» they ask me «did I need something»(no I’m just standing here since I have nothing else to do). I’ve had experiences where the chicken I bought was dry by the time I got back home or work. Not to mention when they had the daily soups, how many times where what was on the list and what were in the pots were not even close. If this happened every now and then, I wouldn’t mention it. For those of you who can remember the movie«The Longest Yard»(the original), you might appreciate this moment. I came late(around 10: PM) when one of the entrances was closed. I made my purchase and forgot to do one thing. I walk towards the now closed exit and the employee stated yelling at me «that door is closed». Considering I saw the employee lock the door, I let it go. She did it again– twice. I get to the door to get what I wanted– the new supplement for sales– which was right at the exit that was closed. For the people who have been friendly to me(such as those selling ice cream and sandwiches as well as the bakery) have kept me going here for anything. It seems like many folks are not interested in being there. It could just be me. I’m not a very difficult man to make happy. If it gets worse, this place will make the«Houses of the Horrible» list.

I think the Dominick’s here is pretty great. It is clean and sharp looking(much better than the Jewel in the area). As far as selection goes, we(my wife and I) have been able to find everything we’ve been looking for. The prices are fairly competitive, but that depends on what’s on sale. I would recommend getting there store savings card, because you can save ALOT verses, well, not having a card. Plus if you have the card you can load your coupons on it, which is very handy! Our first experience at Dominick’s was actually to purchase money orders to pay our movers(the moving company wouldn’t take a check for same-day moves). Gene at the service desk was very friendly and helpful. He explained the savings cards and told us that if we checked out the ice cream area we could get a free sample of gelato. So far I have had no issues with Dominick’s. I would recommend this store.
