Pier 1 Imports

This store is awesome. I love the eclectic look with the organic feel. I was able to dress up some old couches with a couple of throws and pillows. Robin was the sales lady and she was very approachable and helpful. The other sales lady was nice too, but I can’t remember her name. I felt comfortable there and was able to take my time shopping around. My daughter fell asleep on the couch while waiting for me. I really want that couch now too!

Just returned home from Pier 1 in Wheaton and had to write this review. I went in looking for a screw for a Papasan swing that I own and Joan couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful. She went into the back of the store to find it, and couldn’t, but said she would come in tomorrow on her day off and talk to her manager and see if they could locate the piece for me. Great customer service Joan. Thanks!

I love Pier 1, so much so that I want to work there part time! They have the cutest items and I love filling my home with these goodies.
I recently saw an item on their website and this location was the only one that had it in stock. A quick phone call and it was put on hold for me. I was able to pick up my item later that evening without any problems. I think the cashier I got was new because it took about 10 – 15 minutes to check out. If you have any coupons, be sure to present them before she rings things up. I didn’t and she had to re-​ring everything.
It also felt like this location was much smaller than other Pier 1 locations but they seemed to have the same selection.

Tour de Pier1 has been the name of the game this summer.. . This tour not only took me to the Bloomingdale and Joliet stores, but also the Wheaton location as well.
I’m not a stranger to this location as a few years back I purchased a kitchen table here. I’m not as fond of this location as I am the Bloomingdale location, but that is because I know I won’t get the decorating resources that I have found at the other location.
That said, I found the selection and customer service to be perfectly fine at this location. Nothing about any experience I’ve had here has been be out-​right bad. That said, no experience I’ve had at this location has been out-​right outstanding.
When given the opportunity, I would be happy to shop this store as each Pier 1 has it’s own unique finds that make visiting worthwhile.

The staff was incredibly helpful. While walking through the store carrying a basket full of martini glasses, one employee offered to hold the basket at the front desk while we continued to shop. When we arrived at checkout, they quickly gathered our purchases and was ready to ring me up the second I approached the counter. I thought this was excellent customer service, especially since there were other customers and other employees. This flow of this transaction had a number of other factors could have easily been tainted. But no, it was great. The employee even did a great job at wrapping the glasses fitting them into a very appropriate box for transport.
In contrast to my recent adventure to the Bloomingdale location, this store was crammed with great finds. We spent a significant amount of time checking out their inventory.
