Wendy’s

Thanks so much for forgetting all the fries, napkins, barbeque sauce and the reciept. Every time something is left out. This was the last time i ever visit a wendys.

Food is always great at this (and others!) Wendy’s location, but I have to say, the service is the slowest I’ve experienced for a ‘fast-​food’ restaurant. Today, I thought I’d get out of there faster by parking and walking in, because the drive-​thru was backed up all the way to the entrance, but I found that for each 6 cars serviced, only ONE walk-in’s order was taken and served. The one cashier who took orders inside also worked the drink dispenser, and had ‘sometimes help’ from one other worker. On the other hand, I could SEE 4 people working to keep the drive-​through moving. There are two registers at the front counter; You’d think that during the rush, noon-​hour, they’d have both stations manned! This location is either grossly under-​staffed or badly managed. Also, while I love their Asian Cashew Chicken Salad, I hate having to request double packets of cashews when ordering a large. You get one packet with a ‘small’ and TWO with a large… not just one. In the future, when I want Wendy’s and see the drive-​thru backed up like it was today, I’ll pass on by and hit the one on North Avenue by Menards, which, while further of a drive for me, is MUCH faster and would not use up my whole lunch-​break just waiting to place my order.

For a Wendy’s this location is pretty good compared to the west Chicago and glen ellyn locations. The service is quick, and usually correct. They are the only location that has regular honey dipping sauce.

I miss you superbar. Wendy’s is the best of the big 3 fast food burger chains (Wendy’s, McD, then BK).
This location has a special place in my heart. It contributed to my fatness! Not their fault; they delivered a solid product. I just couldn’t help myself.
Double Stacks, Ketchup Only. 99 5 piece chicken nugget (4 now… such a bummer; love their seasoning). I also remember conquering the Triple (3 ¼ patties). Plus a biggie fry and rootbeer. They even had a size that was bigger than the biggie (super biggie?) that came in a red gigantic box. Definitely enough fries for a family of 4. And you can never go wrong with a frosty! I love how theyve expanded to vanilla, mixins, as well as waffle cones.
Finally, Wendy’s has great bacon in my opinion. My perfect order: Double Stack with ketchup only, jr bacon cheese (love the baconator too), 5 piece chicken nugget, small fry, and a medium frosty to drink, and a mini frosty to dip fries in!
I will say I was mad when they came out with the new sea salt fries. Salt is salt!

I MISS THE SUPERBAR SOOOO MUCH!

I don’t care for this location. A year or so ago they gave me a salad that was missing most of the ingredients that made it something other than a regular salad. Today they gave me overcooked chicken nuggets. Wendy’s nuggets are usually plump and juicy but these were dry and hard. It makes me wonder whether the oddly-​flavored «W» burger I decided to try for the first time is terrible everywhere, or just at this location. It’s too bad this Wendy’s is the closest one to home because I’d rather go elsewhere.

I thought this was in Carol Stream. Anyway, it’s always a nice experience when we stop in. Always fresh food, and nice people. Once they got an item wrong and when I returned it, they were so nice, apologized, and made it right quickly.
