Excellent dance instruction by caring and qualified teachers! Well-​established studio which opened in 1958 by founder, Joni Reese-​Naber. Owner/​Artistic Director, Shannon Rush-​Locke, grew up in the studio starting classes @ age 3 and purchased it 10 yrs. ago. 3 Generations of dancers have studied here – the grandparents, the parents, and now the children. I’ve been here 29 years myself as an office manager – my daughter danced here for many years (and I did, as an adult for about 4 yrs.) Taught her great technique, allowing her to perform on stage and compete in dance competitions, enjoyed self-​confidence and poise, and made lifelong friends!

My second home. Joni Reese, the founder of this studio, is a huge reason as to why I am who I am today. This studio has amazing instructors and positive vibes that are hard to find in other studios — walking through those doors was always a breath of fresh air.
I’ve since moved to California; however, I was blessed with the opportunity to dance for the 49ers after an entire life’s worth of training at WSOD. From age 2 and a half to 18 — I wish I could relive my experiences all over again!
