Oh man the Colonel is doing Nashville Hot Chicken??? I’m pinching myself. I’m very pleased to report it is DANG good! Got just the right amount of hot and a hint of brown sugar. A little greasy but DATS da way it is folks. Pickles on top is an authentic touch.
I won’t need to make the 350 mile drive down to Nashville anytime soon now.
Thank you KFC and Yum Brands for filling this much needed chicken gap in the Chicago market.

Just tried their new chicken tenders with their new sauce.
It was alright. A good effort, but frankly, not quite up to snuff with Chick Fil A.
The tenders were long and skinny so not too much substantial meat. This also made the breading a bit of an overkill.
The commercials really drew me in, good job to the boys in marketing! Now they need to tell the kitchen to step it up!

Feels weird to write a review for a fast-​food joint, but hey, what the hell. Was looking for something quick and easy, but didn’t want the usual burger, so we ended up here! Although we ate inside, there IS a drive-​thru.
This location is a KFC and Taco Bell combined. We ate KFC. Food was great! This was like my 3^rd time here in the past 6 years, and I’ve always been satisfied. There have been other KFC locations (Palatine, and even Vernon Hills) that I haven’t been satisfied with, so it’s a pleasant surprise to walk away happy.
My only complaint is that the tables were all kinda messy, sticky, crumby. Needed some serious cleaning.
Other than that — I do give this place a thumbs-​up! Colonel, extra-​crispy, please!

Stopped here around 9pm and got the Famous KFC Bowl. It was amazing and the drive thru worker was real nice. Great experience!

KFC and Taco Bell in one? Thats pure awesome. These guys open at 9am and they’re always nice even that early in the morning. They’ve messed up my order a few times. Ill order a Breast and thigh. They accidentally gave me a Breast and wing. they gave me an extra thigh and told me to keep the wing. Bonus free chicken! So this is the one place where I dont mind if they mess up my order.
This is my Fave location worth a visit.

I know, Fast Food Week, but it’s the SUMMER and we Need Chicken-​to-​go for concerts & picnics.
My old Browns Chicken in Palatine has let me down for the last time and I DO extend my range to the Wheeling (think EAST Arlington Heights ;) KFC when I need a dose of those special KFC spices (think MSG;). There was a KFC in Palatine on Dundee that mercifully closed b4 someone got hurt a couple years ago, the Unilocal reviews were brutal, I drove right by to Wheeling (E. Arlington Heights).
I like their new grilled choice, cuts way down on the fried and guilt batter plus still tasty. A good idea to call ahead though, the Grilled takes longer. Watch for Sunday coupons.
Easy access off Dundee, big drive thru and enormous window high garbage cans as you exit.
I think it is also a Taco Bell now. Enjoy.
