Long John Silver’s

This restaurant is closed and should have been a long time ago, it was disgustingly dirty.

This location is very dirty. There were dead bugs in the window sill, the floor was sticky, the bathroom was filthy and in desperate need of cleaning. The outside of the building doesn’t get any better. There was trash, leaves and sticks in the lot which looks as if it wasn’t swept for a few months. The drive thru board is filthy, and it looks like someone spat their wad of Skoal right under the drive thru window and it dried there a month ago.
The only reason I gave them one star was because of the service. The woman who took my order was very nice and made sure everything was correct.
The food was almost tolerable, but the thought of how clean that kitchen was made my stomach turn. I didn’t finish my food.
The Moundsville LJS was closed down by the Health Department earlier this year, and I wonder if they have the same management and practices because this location just may be next in line to close unless something is done quick. I will not go back to this location.

I would never leave a review for a fast food restaurant, but I have eaten a ton of Long John Silvers in my lifetime and never thought it could be so good!
I don’t know what they’re doing there, but I hope they keep doing it!
I just got a chicken and hush puppy basket today and the hush puppies were so light and tender I could not believe this was LJS! The batter on the chicken was just is good and wasn’t as salty as usual… Just enough seasoning.
I am still shocked about this… Lol!!!
