Bobbio’s Pizza

Came in today on a hot day and realized this isn’t a great place to cool off. They’ve only got 3 beers on tap, but it would help a ton on a day like today. What also might help? A small investment in some A/​C!
Glad to see they swapped out the video poker for some video games– I think that will keep the place a more family oriented place. I’ve been coming here for years and remember seeing soooo many toothless, dirty riff raff looking people coming in and heading straight for the video poker machines.
Hopefully a better cooled environment is on the high priority list for the coming weeks. I’m not over here much these days but a good cool place to come in seems like a worthwhile investment to me.

This place has decent pizza and it is affordable. If you want fancy pizza this not the place, but if your looking for decent, good and simple pizza this is the place to go. Take out, sit down or delivery.

Much more inviting now it’s been bought out and remodeled. A few video games, order online or by phone for pickup or delivery. Have had a couple of hiccups with ordering, but was always made right. Manager is awesome.

It’s much improved on the inside. Very clean and redecorated. But the food is inconsistent. One time it’s really good and the next the pizza is over-​cooked, and dry. It’s was terrible. The sandwich’s are the same way. Some are perfect and yummy. The next time kina dry, not as great a flavor. Needs a little work. But it is better.

Nice surprise, we went here a year ago. Pizza was terrible and place was seedy. Now very family feeling and the pizza was great. Would have given 5 stars but pizza was supposed to be ready in 20 – 25 minutes it took 40 minutes, not bad for a Friday night but with screaming kids 20 extra minutes feels like days.

Flavor was pretty blend. Large size pizza is definitely not large. Expensive for the size and not worth for the flavor.

We ordered a pizza over the phone at 7pm on a Wed night. They said it would be twenty minutes, so we waited and then headed over to pick up the pizza. When we arrived, they not only hadn’t made the pizza, but also didn’t seem to have a record of our order at all. Had to re order, then sit in a very dirty restaurant for forty more minutes while waiting. It would have been nice to order a drink while unexpectedly waiting, but no one seemed to be around to help customers. I was pretty pissed off by the time that pizza came out.
As for the pizza, the ingredients were very good. You have to look past the grime of where it came from, though.

Bobbio’s is the place to go for great pizza, especially if you are a fan of pepperoni. Go on a Sunday, Monday or Tuesday for the best deals.

I was pleasantly surprised with this place. I wasn’t expecting much. One look at their seizure-​inducing website, and I was already doubtful this place wouldn’t be worth the bother. That, and any place that serves «taco pizza» can’t possibly have any idea what a good pizza is.
And then you see the place — it’s in the Cascade Shopping Center in White City, on Crater Lake Hwy and Antelope Rd. Based on where it is, you already expect a scuzz-​fest. And it is scuzzy inside — if Purple Parrot sold pizza instead of sandwiches, this is what you’d get. Video gambling behind saloon doors, and tons of other lottery paraphernalia make you forget it was pizza you came here for.
But the pizza is surprisingly edible. Crust isn’t as crispy as Abby’s, but not as doughy as Figaro’s. I’d say it’s somewhere in between those two, minus the sweet goodness of Figaro’s pizza sauce.
It’s not the greatest pizza around — especially compared to the places down in Ashland, for example — but for White City, not so bad.
