Good customer service and they always have what I need. The prices are affordable. The staff is friendly. I prefer Michaels over AC Moore, but that’s just my opinion.

I guess with AC Moore, you pay for the type of service you receive. I happened to stop by since I was in the area to pick up some yarn. I was looking for a specific shade and since my local Walmart, Target, Michael’s and Joann’s did not seem to carry that shade I decided to stop in. I won’t judge the store based on the rude customers that were in the store but the cashier Amber was very inattentive and focused more on carrying on a conversation with her other coworkers. Since her focus was elsewhere, it was not until I have placed my credit card back into my wallet and placed that inside my purse that she said, «Can I see your card? Oh I’m sorry». Needless to say, I’ll take my money and shopping experiences back to the Towson/Timonium area where I am valued, appreciated and treated with courtesy!

Yay! If I had to choose between the Michaels(located in the shopping plaza with Target on Campbell) or this AC Moore(at The Avenue) for my crafting needs, I’d 100% always go with AC Moore. It’s more spacious, well organized, and staffed with an appropriate amount of employees(whereas Michaels seems to constantly be understaffed). There are huge overhead signs indicating the locations of each department(e.g. framing, scrapbooking, crafts, etc.), which is v. helpful. There are always a bunch of registers open so you never have to wait long to get checked out and get on your way. Prices are comparable to Michaels and similarly, they usually hand you a coupon with your receipt(is that a trend with all chain craft stores?). They have a weekly flyer with coupons and will take competitor and manufacturer coupons as well.
