When we got our air conditioning system installed, we also added in a Honeywell RedLink wireless temperature system so that we could fiddle with the settings while were were out or just away from the thermostat. Seemed like a pretty neat add on, and we were excited to get the functionality. Unfortunately, we had a bunch of issues with the RedLink modem, in particular getting it to pick up the air conditioning units that were installed. This was not due to any fault of Absolute Comfort who did the install, but rather to the inane and incomplete instructions provided by Honeywell. I’m a pretty tech savvy guy, but the manual on these machines was just indecipherable. It seems to have been originally written in German and then translated to Japanese and then on to English. Very tough to comprehend! Anyway, as an update to my previous review, I wanted to point out that Paul worked tirelessly on this problem and yesterday finally resolved the issue after consulting with both Mitsubishi and Honeywell people. Everything is working fine now, the remote features are really cool, and we’re still happy with the service we got from Absolute Comfort.
