Unilocal showed this business as having an average of 3⁄5 stars, so I initially skipped out on it for a place almost 3 miles up the road. Good thing that second place was closed. We were on our way back to CT from NY, and being late on a Sunday, we needed to stop at a place in NY considering CT’s liquor laws are as absurd as some of these reviewers. Corx is gorgeous, like wow. The place is beautifully designed, meticulously laid out, and very clean. I took a moment to comment to my girlfriend and the gentleman working there that the place did not feel like a 3star establishment at all. Price-wise, they’re pretty in line with what I’ve seen at other liquor stores. Nothing I saw seemed overpriced. Only interacted with one person, and he was really nice. So service-wise, they seem to be doing well. Honestly, I want the 1 star reviewers to reimburse me for my mileage, gas, and time spent driving up the road to and back from what was allegedly a superior store. Don’t regard any reviews less than 3 stars whatsoever, and you can write off the 1 star reviews as written by crazy people. Go to this store and see it for yourself, it’s pretty awesome.

I went into Corx today and was not greeted. A loquacious salesman had captivated the crew. It’s a nice looking shop in a nice building. But the wine is way overpriced. Most bottles were 10% — 30% too expensive. 10 dollar bottles there are $ 11.99. A sixteen dollar bottle will run $ 19.00. Sassicaia is available in reputable places for $ 185. At Corx it is marked up to $ 239 and then put on «sale» for $ 199.00. Not only that, the wines are very poorly organized. Some by country and some by varietal. I laughed when I saw a shelf marked«Syrah and Shiraz» Do these newbies know that they are the same thing? When I looked at the wine on the top shelf. It was all Petit Sirah, a grape totally unrelated to Syrah. And no American Syrahs at all. I spent a good 10 minutes browsing. At no time was my presence acknowledged. As I walked to the door the rep was feeding shots of booze to the proprietors. I paused briefly before I walked out, but they did not even glance my way.

Your review helps others learn about great local businesses. Terrible customer service! I ordered a 200 $ bottle of Malbec from the company on December 10, 2015. I had planned to give this bottle as a Christmas gift. I received an email that my order had been received and that it would arrive by the 24th. As days went by I noticed that they weren’t charging my account. I kept checking my email for any updates from the company and I kept logging in to the order online. There was never any update from the company or phone call from them. I became nervous I wouldn’t receive my item by the appropriate date so I contacted the company on December 21 asking for a status update. First, the guy who answered first put me on hold for a quite a while as he «switched phones.» Once he finally come back he told me he had had no luck finding the wine I ordered and would I like to cancel my order! I asked if there was no way they’d receive it and he just once again said he had no way of knowing and would I like to cancel. I don’t know who runs this company but it would have been appropriate to receive communication from them that they had not been able to get the item in advance instead of waiting for me to call them. They could’ve also at least offered to send me something to make up for their lack of attention or something similar. Now I find myself with no gift just 4 days before Christmas all for trusting this company. Stay away. Please don’t review this business if you received a freebie for writing this review, or if you’re connected in any way to the owner or employees.

What a difference a year makes. Lou is gone, the young lady who had lots of personality left, and now there resides behind the counter a young man with the customer friendliness of the Grinch. If he is not ignoring you, the other man who stays on his phone throughout the entire transaction will be glad to ignore you. No wonder the place is always empty every time I go in. Back to the Wine and Liquor Warehouses, at least they have a better selection.

Very nice shop in an area that really needs some good businesses to take root. The staff is friendly and hey, you can’t beat a 10% off discount with your Unilocal check in! Fair selection. wish they had more actually. I’m sure I’ll be back since I’m in the area a lot.

Corx is very nice. If they had a bigger selection, I would make it 5 stars. That being said, the selection is good and I will probably make this a 5 star review at some point. I’m just playing hard to get. As other people have noted, the interior is very nice in Corx. Now, the liquor store near my home in Yonkers is a place where I «run in» and«grab something». When I go to Corx, I SHOP. And it’s the atmosphere that does it. It is nice to wander around in there, nobody bothers you, though I have always been asked if I need help. I’m happily working my way through their pinot grigios, and was happy to find a Mark West chardonnay — I have never seen that anywhere else. Whenever my husband and I are in White Plains, we stop here. Whether I need wine or not!

Corx is a great new spot to grab the essentials for the wine rack & liquor cabinet. Their selection is outstanding and the staff is truly knowledgeable and happy to assist. My favorite part was walking into the store on a Friday and finding live entertainment, product sampling and food. You don’t get that anywhere else. It’s brand new, clean and beautifully arranged. .. worth a visit!

Corx Wine and Liquors is clearly unique. I was extremely impressed, with the restaurant style décor. The store makes you feel like you are in Napa Vally. The selection is amazing, I also was very impressed with the very knowledgeable staff. They were very helpful in assisting me, with a dinner pairing. One other unique feature that I loved, was the Wine tasting station, that has wines loaded in a machine, for fresh tastings, this was cool !! I think the prices were competitive, and the store made me want to stay, listen to the background music, and watch the many TVs, all while I was shopping for my favorite Pinot Noir !! I truly recommend this place, and I am happy to have discovered it !

I’m giving this place 4 stars mainly because it’s around the corner from my house. But that aside, they have a wonderful selection of liquors and wine. They’re pretty much just as cheap as warehouse prices when it comes to liquor, however if you’re buying a case of wine it’s a TAD more expensive. When you walk in, you’re literally stunned with how beautiful this place is, and I can’t say that about many liquor stores. It’s quite impressive how clean it is, and there are usually tastings when I walk in. In the back there are TONS of fridges with chilled champagne and wine. Definitely check this place out for your next party or to restock your liquor cabinet.
