Delicious food, I hate the valet so much that I’ll only go during lunch, on slow nights or Happy Hour. If you go and use the valet, tip him AFTER you get your car. If I don’t drive like the car is a hot rod, why should I tip the mandatory valet to do it? Aside from the fact that the guy drives like a jerk, they let him use the handicap spots for his valet use… whether handicapped or not. That doesn’t seem so bad when you are getting out because you get out right in front of the door, but when he goes and gets your car, he should pick you up right in front. I had two handicapped people with me and he left the car at the exit so they had to walk farther(actually hobble) than they would if there was no valet. Aside from the inconvenience, because he drove so badly, if I thought I was going on a night where he’d be on duty, I’d take my crappy rusty old car instead of the new one. When I am taking people out, I don’t want to stick them in my old car… I shouldn’t feel like I have to leave the nice car at home to go out. Great pasta Bolognaise. Great Pizza and salads.

Lombardo’s is heaven sent!!! The Spaghetti al Cartocchio is the best authentic Italian dish ever created on the East Coast. I am not Italian but after this dish, I am an honorary Italian! O Mio Dio!!!

My family and I love coming here. The food and the service is great and so are the drinks. We haven’t left disappointed ever!

Gluten Free options galore– this place is always tasty. I have yet to get sick so I know the staff takes their Gluten intolerant customers seriously. The prosciutto and arugula pizette is awesome, as is most of the pasta dishes subbed with GF pasta. Thank you Lomboardos!!!

We live one block away, we have been there more then 25 times easily. This is a great neighborhood restaurant, very consistent. The buffalo chicken pizza and buffalo wings are absolutely perfect. This place is almost always packed. I would substitute olive oil for butter with bread if I were them. The staff is really friendly, which is appreciated.

We’ve apparently been doing this wrong all along… screw Penne a la Vodka — pasta in a Sambuca-based sauce is where it’s at. The Spaghetti al Cartoccio is one of the best things I’ve eaten in recent memory — an amazing dish tossed with shrimp and sweet sausage, sautéed in a pink Sambuca sauce and baked and presented in a foil pouch. I couldn’t get enough of it. Soup(butternut squash) and salad were decent, but nothing to prepare me for the excellent entrée. The service was pleasant and friendly. I’d love to say I’ll come back and sample something else, see if there are any other gems on the menu, but I’m pretty confident that if I wind up back here, I’ll be ordering that Spaghetti al Cartoccio again.

They really blew a golden opportunity. This was my third and final time here. Under-cooked pasta, I mean really undercooked. Boring food. Chaotic service. Never again.

Totally enjoyed the entire experience in this family oriented neighborhood restaurant. The bread was delicious and coming from a family of restaurateurs I know that this is you’re very first opportunity for a good impression! My daughter and I asked if they would chop the clams oreganato and were pleasantly surprised that the chef had no problem with that. For whatever reason I just can’t eat whole clams and more times than not the restaurant won’t accommodate my request so right off the bat I knew I was going to like this place. The Pomegranate Martini was delicious and perfectly chilled. The pasta with a tomato cream and chicken was absolutely delicious. We were too full for dessert but took home an order of mini cannolis which held nicely for 2 hours later when we enjoyed them. I highly recommend if you’re in the area that you take the time to visit Lombardo’s.

They have fairly good selection of pasta and glass wine is always good. You should expect huge crowd after 6:30 during weekend. They are not perfect but yet it remains one of our family’s favorite Italian restaurants in White Plains/Mamaroneck/Harrison neighborhood.

This is my spot. Right around the corner from my house, they got rid of the god-awful Sports Page and put an amazing restaurant that has great pizza, lunch, and dinner entrees. I usually stick to a shrimp dish when I order from here, and get a buffalo pinwheel. Whenever we’re having a party, we’ll def order a grandma pie. Just all around a solid spot to order from. Have not sat down to eat here yet, but thats because I’m literally a 3 min drive away.

I arrived at Lombardo’s by chance. We were on the Hutch when our brakes failed! Yikes! Luckily my husband got us off the highway and into Mamaroneck Service Inc., Mobile station at 1237 Mamaroneck Ave. in White Plains, ½ a block from Lombardo’s. We were taking him to JFK. He caught a cab there — & made his plane! I relaxed with a fabulous glass of Rodney Strong Chardonnay, delicious lentil soup and a perfect side salad with Gorgonzola cheese and Italian dressing at Lombardo’s. The restaurant is attractive. More than one server was attentive to me without bugging me, which was good b/c I really wanted some quiet time after the car situation. It was a wonderful surprise to stumble upon Lombardo’s and have such good quality food, service and ambiance. I’m in CT, my sister’s in NJ, I’d definitely go back if I wanted to break up the trip.

If you’re thinking — just what Westchester needs, another pizza pasta restaurant… you’ll be pleasantly surprised. The décor is nice, the menu ambitious, and the service prompt. This review is for a Wednesday lunch. Given that it was late August and after 1:30, I’d say the crowd was pretty good. First to arrive, pillowy warm rolls, fresh from the oven, really excellent. We started with fried calamari arrabiata. A bit pricey at $ 14.50, but a large portion with a fine proportion of tentacles. The squid was crisp and light, the sauce savory, but not as hot as promised. The peppers in it were mild, they may have been roasted peppers and not the specified cherry peppers. We both had parmagiana sandwiches. My wife’s, made with what looked like grilled chicken, was quite good and still filling. I enjoyed the veal, even if not quite as good as Francesco’s. We took some home. Will return for a dinner. The risotto Genoese sounds awesome, although it strikes me as inauthentic. Gonna check my Waverly Root.

simply the best Italian in the area! Its owned by 2 young guys who are serious about their food, nothing goes out before they take a look at it, the place is always packed and rightly so, everything is delicious hot and well priced. its great you can sit in this well designed restaurant and have something at the bar even if you are alone and feel welcome. Better yet you can bring the whole family and be well taken care of. Order the Italian sausage/shrimp in a rose anis sauce, its great. the salad with goat cheese cranberries and candied walnuts is fantastic. And they deliver!!! and you can get a choice of 5 different pizza slices at the front counter within seconds. JUSTGOANDTRYIT!

TL;DR: Everything about the place is excellent excepting the phone call. The place is like a mall for Italian food. You can get regular slices, gourmet slices, pizzettes(could possibly feed two), entrees, ingredients, etc etc. There is guaranteed to be something for everyone in your group. I’ve had about a dozen different things and the two winners are the broccoli rabe/sausage pizzette and the Rigatoni Fiorentina. Other pastas and entrees were very good, too. If you read a review of someone complaining about the food, they are just trying to be difficult for the sake of being difficult. Whoever designed the bar did a great job as it is very comfortable to sit and eat at(which is surprisingly rare). In fact, the whole place is well designed. I especially like how I can walk through the restaurant while it is busy without having to do a shuttle drill like I’m showcasing for the NFL draft. Now, one warning, if you call for pick-up or delivery, you might want to have a snack ready because it is going to take a while. No, the delivery time is fine and, no, I’m not counting the time it takes to drive there if you pick up your order. Instead, I’m talking about the phone call to place your order and how it is pull-your-hair-out infuriating … and I am bald. That weird complaint aside, Lombardo’s is one of the best restaurants in this area.

I live a few blocks from Lombardo’s and think it’s important to support local small businesses so I thought I’ve give them a try for delivery. First, it took 15 minutes on the phone to place my order as I was placed on hold 4 times during the process. I ordered the House Special pizza and had great expectations based on Unilocal reviews. Unfortunately, the pizza arrived cold and I was shocked to see that they used canned mushrooms as a topping! For the price they charge I expected to see fresh ingredients. Even Domino’s uses fresh mushrooms. I might try dine in as they are so close to me, but I will never order a pizza delivery from them again — or anything that involves mushrooms!

This. Will. Be. My. Wedding. Cater. Omg, I love this food! The grilled shrimp, chicken parm, eggplant parm, linguini — always cooked to perfection! Even their sandwiches are so good! The pizza isnt the best but it’s pretty good. Like I said, my wedding cater and I’m not even engaged yet.

Food was great. Service was impeccable. The ambiance of this restaurant is casual, but it’s so airy and aesthetically beautiful from the tall back booths, to the gorgeous decorating. Very classy look. As for the food — where do I begin?! We started with the buffalo wings, mussels, and clams oreganata. All equally delicious — the clams and mussels were surprisingly huge. This is not the type of the restaurant where they’re skimping on the food. Very pleased with the apps. Onto dinner — I had their Linguine Vongole(or linguine with clams.) The clams were so fresh, flavorful, and plump. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the white clam sauce was delicious. Others at my table had the Penne e Gamberi and the Sole Oreganata. And everyone raved about their dishes. Wonderful restaurant. Ambiance is great. You can bring the family or come with friends… will definitely troop it back from the city to eat here.

We love Lombardo’s! I know a delicious meal is sure to come as soon as their basket of amazing little bread pillows hits the table– soft, warm and yummy. My stepmom and I always order the Tuscan Steak Salad because the combination of Steak, Mesclun Greens, Tomatoes and Gorgonzola Cheese is perfection. My dad loves the Linguine con Vongole and Tiramisu — we always leave sated and happy. I’m so glad Lombardo’s opened and one day I aim to try the pizza and other entrees but for right now, I am addicted to their Tuscan Steak Salad. GO!

I can’t remember a business turning me around so completely, but here we are. Four stars for Lombardo’s! I had to get some pizza for visiting family and had to get it fast. Even though our last visit was a dud, I figured, what the hell, let me try Lombardo’s again. The pizza was… surprisingly good! Definitely as good as any of the other pizzerias in White Plains, if not better. A classic NY slice to a «T». Glad I decided to come back.
