This is a great place to stop by for lunch to get fast service and good food. Overall their sushi, and food from the kitchen is one of the cleanest I’ve had. Hot and sour soup is also by far the best I’ve had. Rich ingredients and very tasteful. Cool spot for sure!

Came her for lunch. Possibly the best Pad Thai i had. Made even spicier upon request. Very filling. My coworker had the bento box and looked very plentiful.

I wish there was an option to leave more than 5 stars. Haiku is by far my best dining option in Westchester! I love coming here and eating the delcisiousness that is their fresh food. Always quick and sooo fresh. I recommend the sesame seed chicken SOOOOOGOOD also in terms of customer service they are unmatched everyone is so warm welcoming and everytime I come back they staff welcomes me like I’m family. On top of that Alberto the manager goes above and beyond each and every time I visit. He takes special care to stop at each of the tables and ask how the service is say hello and just make sure you’re having a good time. Whoever reads this PLEASE go check them out ask for Alberto. He knows the menu front and back and will give you the best recommendations and will accommodate you. Best place in white plains. It’s mandatory that you eat here. You will not be disappointed

This place is legit. Staff is friendly and the food is great. High quality, fresh sushi. The live scallop sashimi was fantastic. I’ve been here twice and if I lived in the area is probably eat here weekly.

Excellent lively atmosphere. Very cool sidewalk seating available when the weather gets nice. Not typical of Japanese bistro/sushi places. The staff were friendly and courteous. Service was very quick, drinks are served in timely manner and the food are brought to the table in timely manner as well. I wish this place has a Hibachi option.

Avoid this place at all costs. They have no problem updating the menu in the restaurant as well as upping their prices lowering the quantity and quality and not even bother updating their on line menu. So people, such as myself, are lured in with what seems like a reasonable menu and prices only to find it more pricey and less of a good value. Especially at lunch. What a shameful business practice. It takes about ten minutes to update a pdf file or html page on a website. They obviously care only about making money and don’t care about their customers. Go somewhere else

This place has okay sushi however I can’t say I will try it again. I tried the thunder roll and it had a bone in it. The server told the manager what happened however he told me that this happens all the time. Never in my life have I eaten sushi that had bones in it. The manager didn’t seem to care at all.

Heard good things about this pseudo Japanese place. First and foremost, the staff was GREAT and attentive. That said, it is yet another one of the majority of the Chinese owned faked Japanese restaurants(all staff are Chinese). The food capture Japanese, Chinese, Malaysian, Thai etc. which is not a bad thing if you have a big crowd. I had the lettuce warps which was very tasty. The Tempura appetizer dish was big in portion. The Pad Thai was tasty and the sushi/sashimi dinner was adequate(towards the small side). By enlarge, it is an ok place to have dinner. Major complaint: the ice-tea(non-sweeten) had no refill and they charged me the price of three ice teas(without informing me first); thus, if you are the designated driver(which I was), then you will be penalized for not having a drink. May be I got spoiled by the American standard of having refills on ice-tea. This also shows me the GREED of the owner. Two extra ice-teas just lost the owner a repeat customer and I will go to other Asian restaurants in White Plains instead. Sayonara Haiku(Yes ! that is Japanese).

The food was fine when it came, but it took ages and ages. We had to ask for water a few times, and then my food didn’t come at all until the rest of the table had finished theirs(they tried to wait to start, but it was a long time). When my food did arrive, I got only half of it, with the second half coming 20 minutes later.

We went to Hiaku because we are avid sushi enthusiasts. The restaurant was busy but seemed less loud then the other restaurants on the street. We were seated immediately, drinks came quickly. The food took an exceptionally long time. The only hot meal came out first. My three sushi rolls came out five minutes after that. The third meal came out 18 minutes after the the first meal arrived. The sushi was bland, fresh but tasteless. A real disappointment. The acoustics in the restaurant were not optimal and as if it wasn’t already difficult enough to communicate a DJ started with loud music half way through the meal.

Horrible experience while I had my first experience here. Did a birthday dinner of 5 people, 3 appetizers and we each ordered a specialty sushi roll except for me. I ordered the dinner spicy combo rolls. The specialty rolls came first, no big deal except a roll with avocado had brown avocado pieces. Had they prepared it? Was it sitting out for long? Can they not find ripe avocados while they are in season? My rolls started out fine before it turned bad like a c-grade horror flick. I bit into one and felt something hard, now I hate to be that person that spits food back onto her plate during a dinner but this wasn’t something I could swallow or spit into a napkin politely. It was a 1×1 piece of I’m assuming fish skin, white and hard, I originally thought it was a bone. With the horrible restaurant lighting I couldn’t tell for sure what it was, could have been a piece of plastic. I was disgusted and we called over a waitress, she apologized and took my plate away. They returned my food, I’m assuming on a new plate and didn’t say anything else. Like I was going to continue eating that sushi?! We asked for the check, guessing that they would remove my dish from it. Nope. We asked for a manager and they told us no one was in but since I ate half the dish before discovering this we had to pay for it. Horrible service, horrible sushi(their appetizers are alright). Will not be returning.

The service is awesome. Every staff and waitor was sweet and nice. They stays alert of what you need really fast. The atmosphere is also nice and relaxing. I and my friend only ordered sushi. I can tell the ingredient was perfect. Salmon and tuna had nice texture. Perfect taste of sauce and rice. Yet I don’t think sushi chefs are very hand-skilled. The sushi’s don’t look quite neat and sharply cut. I am not really picky though. It is just I have been at better place and more beautiful symetric sushi and sashimi. Overall, 4 stars and I will totally come back.

My friend is a regular at Haiku so during a girls night visit, she insisted we go. We arrived on a Saturday night around 9:30pm and the place was beyond packed, loud, and lively. They even had a musician playing bongo drums! They told us the wait was 15 minutes but really it was more like seven. The only downfall with my Haiku experience was that when the hostess was walking us to our table she realized it still wasn’t ready so we had to lurk around for a few minutes as they cleaned and set it up. Anyway, I ordered the spicy roll combo with a hot and sour soup, and a glass of white sangria. The soup portion was really big and some of the best hot and sour I’ve had! The sushi was incredibly fresh and flavorful, and the sangria was delicious, strong, and packed with tropical fruit! They even gave us a round of free shots at the end of our meal! My friend and I split the bill and between the two of us it cost about $ 30/person(before tip). Great food, awesome ambience, and good prices!!! Winner, winner, sushi dinner!

I love Haiku! They have great sushi and I love coming here for dinner. All of their rolls are delicious. Their chicken teriyaki is yummy. And their drinks are good, too. It’s sometimes a little noisy here.

Red Plum up the street has way better food IMO. The veggie fried rice here is very bitter and oily. I like a flavored fried rice with a slightly sweet vibe. I’ve never had that oily aftertaste linger as much as this one did. The veggie spring rolls were alright though. My friends’ meals consisted of calamari salad, beef fried rice, and various sushi rolls. All basic and underwhelming in taste. I guess I was just looking to be impressed and I wasn’t. I don’t just want to be fed, I want to LOVE what I’m eating. Every trip. Every time. Also: THEMUSICHEREISTERRIBLE. Are they trying to lure in singles over 50? With an interior that makes me think they’re trying to be relevant and cool, I’d rather they play more current house music. The playlist is depressing and distracting. Turn it down or turn it off. All 5 of us hated it. :)

I ordered delivery and got the Thai Noodles with jumbo shrimp and a sashimi lunch. Sashimi lunch — 10 pieces of variety fish. There was only 3 different kinds of sashimi there but all of them were delicious Thai Noodles with jumbo shirmp — amazing and plentiful. For the price they offer a lot of food. No question Haiku’s prices are well worth the taste. I’ve also been there for lunch at the bistro and it is very well decorated and a great atmosphere. Delivery or sit in, this is the place to be!
