Mariachi Loco

Went out to this place with co workers. Tried the sizzling steak fajitas. It was ok. I have had better at other Mexican restaurants. The portions were large though. Wrapped mine to go for later. Place is kinda small. Not sure I will be going back anytime soon.

Top notch stuff right here. I got the Arizona burrito with Cajun chicken. Arizona does not qualify as Cajun, although I did enjoy my burrito. I also ate some miniature chimichangas, which were good. Staff was nice, and handled a party of six very well.

its by far one of the worse mexican restaurants I have encountered. The food is subpar, I wanted to add extra stuff in the burrito –the food came and nothing I ordered was included. The delivery guy said the lady was too busy to add the plantains. I suggest — DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE. Bad customer service and the food sucks

The absolute best carnitas! Only wish their minimum delivery wasn’t so high or I’d order from them more.

This restaurant is absolutely fantastic! The food is great, with decent prices and huge portions. It’s also a place where my whole family can find something they enjoy. It also has fantastic vegetarian and vegan options! They have the best guacamole and salsa verde!

Just finished having chicken fajitas & sausage & chicken fajitas both were delicious. service was very friendly & prompt, will return again. We were looking for a Mexican restaurant, portions ere too much to eat now, dinner for tomorrow night. The salsa they put on the table was a little spicy but delicious. Prior to leaving we were serenaded by a strolling minstrel with a nice voice.

Awesome Mexican food! Their agua de horchata is amazing– a lot better than what I’ve tried at other Mexican spots. The food that is served there is priced very well, and they give you a lot. That’s always a plus in my book.
I work nearby and I always made orders for delivery. They do take a while, but I don’t really mind.
I just visited the place with my friend and decided to eat inside. The decorations were so adorable. Service was great too. I didn’t have to wait too long.
Definitely a favorite spot.

We found this place by accident. We were around the area looking for another place to eat but we ended up going to a wrong parking lot. We were like, this place looks authentic, if they have lengua tacos (beef tongue), forget the other place, we’ll just eat here. One of us got out from the car, checked their menu & yes, they do serve lengua tacos!
We went in & seated immediately. Our waitress were very polite. The place was busy. They were having a live Mexican music when we were there. It was fun. Great atmosphere! We ordered 3 lengua tacos, a Cubana tortas, & a cheese quesadilla. The food came out pretty quickly. The hot sauce here is good. If you love spicy food, you’ll love the hot sauce here. It’s spicy! It’s not just sour like most Mexican places that we went. Don’t go too crazy with the hot sauce here.
The lengua tacos were good but not great. The meat isn’t as flavorful as some other lengua tacos that we’ve tried before. It’s not bad. It’s still delicious but just not amazing. The Cubana tortas were huge! Packed full of meat, eggs, & avocado. The meat were flavorful but wish it would be softer & less chewy. The cheese quesadilla were pretty cheesy.
The portion here is generous. Great value! All total, the bill came out to about $ 30. All in all, we were satisfied with our meal here. They were delicious & the service was great.

Had this food delivered at work at the hospital. I ordered three steak tacos, as opposed to the carne asada that were a dollar more (I thought carne asada was steak but I guess I was wrong). I was referred to try the hard shell as I heard the soft shell wasn’t very good (dry). These are your basic Americanized tacos, classic hard shell with lettuce, tomato, and shredded cheese. I was expecting Mexican street style tacos when I saw lengua on the menu, but I guess an American taco every once in awhile isn’t so bad. They were generous with the toppings and the steak was well seasoned. Considering I only paid about $ 8, this place is a pretty good deal!

Glad I came across this place when trying to order lunch for the office. Not only is it literally 10 mins away, but the food is FREAKING DELICIOUS!
Now we order from there frequently, and sometimes I stop by after work to grab some take home. The staff for the most part is nice but sometimes the lady seems to have a little attitude over the phone. The prices are more than affordable, especially for the portions that you get.
Their guac and chips are awesome! Guac is always fresh and tasty. Love their burritos supreme and quesadillas. They have lunch specials everyday and also some coupons in their menu that you can use frequently.
They are situated right next to my other fav spot– who can beat that?!

Great prices. Good food. Good service. A favorite spot for real tacos. A little gem. They also have a wonderful Mariachi musician.

Dinner was ok tonight– though we’ve had better. My Camarones al Ajillo were pretty tasty, but my rice, lacked substance.
On a more positive note, my Mango Margarita was fruity, sweet and ohhhhhhh soooooo mangoey awesome!

Best mexican place hands down. Everything you get at this place is more for your money. You get so much food for so little and its delicious. The taco salad is great and the food can be spicy on request which is great for anyone who loves spicy. This place deserves 20 stars.

We were immediately greeted upon walking into the establishment. Smiling faces and all. Before we even sat down, they were putting chips and salsa at our table. Not a minute later and the waitress asked us what we wanted to drink. My husband and I both wanted Margaritas, but she offered a shareable margarita that comes with shots of tequila and 2 bottles of corona. It was HUUGGEE! We should have asked for the price first because when we got the bill, it was $ 55! Yikes.
We had a cheese nachos appetizer. It was ok. Some of the chips were burnt.
My husband had beef flautas and tacos. He said it was OK. I had the chicken tacos with rice and beans. The beans tasted slightly burnt. The rice was ok. Nothing to brag about. The tacos were good, but there were some pieces of chicken in my tacos that were so rough I could not chew them and that is a huge turn off. We had a good time and the service was good, but we will not be returning. At least we can say we tried it.

Great local Hispanic spot, it’s a good place when all you see are natives eating there.
Wish that it was a little bit bigger, it gets packed and often times feels a little cramped. The portions are HUGE! So order small and work your way up. :)

Not the worst and certainly not the best, Mariachi Loco is decent. for what it is.
We had:
Chicken Quesadilla — NOT the huge concoction that you see in the pictures. Bland and pretty thin. The side of guac that it came with was not good either.
Chicken Burrito — this was an issue for me. WHY would you send a half wrapped burrito?! This beast is huge but it was falling apart. The rice, beans and chicken were all bland however the sour cream and salsa they threw in helped tremendously.
Chocolate Stick Taquitos — best part of the meal for me. Fried, thin and crispy dough. Topped with powdered sugar and chocolate sauce. Nice creamy filling. I really enjoyed these.
Tres Leche — eh. It was ok but definitely not worth ordering again. NOTE: there was a small piece of cardboard in this dessert that eerily resembled a roach.
Maduros — GROSS. Hard, semi-​sweet but more on the unripened side. No flavor, just hard boulder-​like pieces.
Not sure we’d order from here again.

We dined in on snowy Tuesday night and ordered a margarita and a combination plate. The margarita was outstanding. It was made with fresh limes and jalapeño. The mini burrito and two tacos were delicious even the rice and beans had so much flavor.
This taqueria is recommended if you’re craving good Mexican food and drinks in a casual atmosphere. I’ve only eaten here once, but I definitely will be returning.

Best Mexican take out in the greater White Plains area. They have an extensive menu of Mexican classics, all huge portions and all relatively inexpensive.
We tend to go Burritos, which are gigantic — easily split by 2 people if you’re not completely starving. I would recommend the chili burrito (ground beef) or the shrimp. I used to love the Arizona but I got one (and honestly, only one) chewy piece of chicken once that turned me off from ordering it again.
Another highlight here are the homemade tortilla chips and the salsa and guacamole. You need to salt the guac up a bit, but otherwise, the flavor cannot be beat.

It was my first time trying Mariachi Loco. They’re open on Christmas Day which was nice since I wasn’t celebrating and thus had no food in my house. Delivery was surprisingly fast, only took about 25 – 30 minutes. I ordered a large chicken quesadilla, it was a lot bigger than I had expected, it was the size of my face and came in a pizza box but oh my was it so good! I also order three of the soft steak tacos and it came with some yellow rice and what I’m going to assume is a bean mash, all of it was cery delicious! The tortilla chips were also very delicious. I was shocked by how much good quality food I got for such a low price. I will definitely be taking a trip to dine in the store next time to enjoy more food.

Good food. Service is kind of slow on busy days– waiter forgets when you ask for something because it’s so busy… Staff is friendly, busy busy place so be prepared!
