I’m surprised of the bad reviews for this restaurant. The food is delicious, but if you’re coming for dinner, turn back. The portions are perfect for lunch – not dinner. I recommend the Tuscan Roasted Salmon/Chicken. The protein is roasted perfectly, and the potatoes, corn-on-the-cob, carrots, bell peppers, and yellow and green zucchini are seasoned and roasted excellently. The Chicken Pasta Rossa is also very good. Overall, if you’re in The Westchester and hungry for lunch, go here. Otherwise, try P.F. Chang’s or another restaurant in the area.

I guess I didn’t realize all Nordstrom Café’s weren’t all converted to Sixth and Pines. I wish they were. The menu is sub par, the service was even worse. It’s definitely disappointing when compared to the Sixth and Pine. Upside is the dishes are less expensive than Sixth but they are also smaller. I wish I had better to report. I truly do

I tried roasted vegetable sandwiches, oh my god, are you kidding me? This is 9 dollar or whatever meal? You only put a couple of saggy bell peppers and one piece of sun dried tomatos and so much mayo. Who puts that much mayo in sandwiches these days? I was going to ask for my dish to be re-done but because of my friend not wanting me to do that, I stopped. You guys should do a better job than this. Wasted my money.

When an acquaintance of mine recommended the Nordstrom Café to me, I was definitely skeptical. I don’t think I’ve ever had a decent meal at a department store based restaurant, including Bloomingdales, Lord and Taylor, and Saks Fifth Avenue and I had no reason to be this was any different. But hey, it really was pretty decent! The Nordstrom Café has a small menu with some light offerings like salads, sandwiches, and pizza. We got a lime chicken salad and turkey club and both were fresh, well made, and very tasty. And, being a complete coffee snob/douche, I can even say that the coffee was fairly acceptable! Service was great, the staff are both friendly and fast. In the end, the Nordstrom Café is a great spot to recharge your batteries and have a respectable lunch. I also think it’s the best place to eat in the entire Westchester Mall.
