I am flat out disappointed, appalled and pissed off at the experience I had at Nicky’s just last week. The owner Nicky is a piece of garbage, the slices are overpriced and oily and the place has flat out gone down hill. I almost want to go back just to yell at the owner thats how ticked off I was after going in there last week. I order a pepperoni slice and a MIDDLE sicilian slice. Thats just my preference I like the middle part of the sicilian pie. So i see him cut the corner slice and he’s about to put it in the oven. I corrected him(not in a rude way) just letting him know I wanted the middle and he roll’s his eyes, shakes his head. I just couldn’t believe this guys attitude after making sure I got what I wanted. I’m not the type of person that is afraid to speak up when something isn’t the way I wanted it to be. The whole time he was being rude with customers, his tonality was filled with anger. Other people in line were talking about how rude he was. I was furious and boiling up inside. My biggest ultimate pet peeve is getting treated poorly at a business. Customer service is extremely important and this guy could careless about the way he treats his customers. After the slices come to the register, I see that the sicilian slice is just two sicilian slices combined in 1. It was just 1 long, huge sicilian slice along with my pepperoni slice that I got. i took one look at it, and said no way can I eat that much food for lunch and then go back to work. Never in my life have I seen sicilian slices served at a pizzeria like that. These people are crooks, once they rang up the two slices and a drink it was $ 13. I was in shock and asked if they could cut the sicilian slice so I could just have one. They refused to do that for me, the cashier lady said«No we only sell it like this». They weren’t accommodating at all whatsoever. Thats how you lose business. There was no way in HELL I was paying that much for what I got. I told them I didn’t want the sicilian slice anymore. Nicky was mad because I had already put a little red pepper on it. Originally, yes I was going to attempt to eat it until I got rung up and heard the ridiculous and unfair price. He was pissed because he thought he wouldn’t be able to sell it. I have some advice for you, cut those friggin sicilian slices in half and sell them for a reasonable price like $ 3.50-$ 4. Then they will sell. The majority of people will not eat that whole slice. I told them they could save it for themselves, or somebody by the end of the day will buy that slice, because some people like red pepper on their pizza already. This guy acted like it was the end of the world of course and got all pissed off and was shaking his head. Yea sorry for putting 4 little crumbles of red pepper on you’re overpriced gigantic sicilian slice that not even Adam Richman from Man Vs Food could finish. Now you wonder why your not getting any business. Those prices are outrageous. I think he even called me cheap too, I laughed because you read all these reviews and most of them are complaining about the price. You have no idea how much Nicky ticked me off. My father grew up on the original Nicky’s. That spot use to be my favorite pizza in White Plains, I had great memories there as did my father. This new Nicky’s is a sad and pathetic representation of the old joint. It is absolutely disgraceful in every way. I hate Nicky and I hated my oily pepperoni slice. The only reason I would return is just to pop my head in to give Nicky a piece of my mind. He’s rude, he’s arrogant, he’s nasty and he doesn’t belong behind the counter serving pizza to customers. Nicky’s sucks, whatever you do DONOTGOTHERE. I told my father about my experience at Nicky’s last week. He said they have a reputation of being rude there. «Those guys are a bunch of cavones» and it’s completely true. I would recommend going to Luca Bella’s across the street from Ron Blacks. I wish there was a way to give this place 0 stars. It doesn’t even deserve 1 star. I’d rather eat rat feces off the floor in Mario’s pizza before I try another slice of Nicky’s pizza.

Save your money and go somewhere else. This restaurant is understaffed and the staff they have, isn’t very good. First, we were a party of 4 and the waitress(who took her time) gave us only ONETYPEDMENU. The $ 12 salad(which was nothing special) contained the ROOTOFTHELETTUCE. The Mozzarella Sticks in my hot antipasto, were empty — that’s right, just crust. A slice is $ 4. The wait was absolutely outrageous for a lousy meal.

This place shouldn’t even call themselves a pizzeria. The pizza is thick and undercooked. It was given to us in the pizzeria cold! It took them almost triple the amount of time to cook our food and then overcharged us by almost double! When we asked about the overcharge, they told us menu prices«changed yesterday» — yea, right?! Will never give them business again.

HORRIBLE! Slices are super expensive. Like one slice is the price of a tall, cold drink. The staff doesn’t allow you to use the bathrooms(they pile chairs in front of the bathroom doors). They want your money but want u to eat and run. O and while I was there a guy had his wallet stolen at the counter and the staff said the cameras did not work. Not cool. Hmmmmm. Renovated, yet a mess of a place. Too much negatives from this spot. I’ll take my money elsewhere thanks.

First things first, the pizza is delicious — absolutely delicious — but a slice of pepperoni set me back $ 6, not including a soda. What in blue blazes? i think that $ 3 or $ 3.50 would be a fair price and I’d go regularly for that price, but $ 6 is unreal, and so not worth it. Thus 5 stars for taste/quality; –3 stars for price!

Although the price of the slices was up there, $ 10 for one pepperoni and one mushroom, they were good. We had a so so dining experience at Lilly ‘s and wanted to finish dinner with a slice and Unilocaled Nicky’s. It was close and even though there wasn’t anyone else in the shop, we thought what the hell. And it was a good slice. Perfectly crispy dough on the bottom. The mushrooms were thick, juicy and sauted with garlic. My man’s pepperoni was yummy. And there was more cheese on top. The best part of our dining evening. And they were nice. Really, they were perfectly lovely. Very attentive and glad we dropped in.

After suffering a fire at its previous location a few doors down the block, Nicky’s has risen from the ashes — but I’m not sure why. The first, and biggest, offense? Charging $ 4 for a single unremarkable, untopped slice. You heard me: FOURDOLLARS. The only place in the world I’d expect to pay that much is maybe in Norway. Last time I checked, downtown White Plains is a far cry from Scandinavia. Also, what kind of pizza place closes on Tuesdays and Wednesdays? Counter service is average: Not terribly friendly, but adequate. Hardly a reason to stop in. I suppose a lot of money went into building out this new space, yet it’s still uninviting — dark, cavernous, and usually empty. With the number of pizza shops within just a few blocks, this place does nothing to even try to compete. They don’t seem to want customers at all, and, for the few they seem to get, I can’t imagine many find the establishment worth a second visit.

I stopped by for lunch and picked up a Sicilian slice and one regular slice, $ 9.00. They were delicious but, I can only give them two stars because of the prices. They actually have a pie with everything, meaning veggies and meat toppings for $ 56.00, way too much. It’s a shame because the flavor is outstanding. The guy at the counter was very nice, he gave me a free sample of pepperoni pizza while I waited.

Saw that Nickys was open again. Walked inside nobody was there in the afternoon, lunch time. Ordered a slice that was all that was available. When the guy said $ 4.00 I almost gagged. Is Nick’s insane? I have had pizza all over the city, in NYC and never paid $ 4,00 a slice. Sorry will never go back again. So many other good affordable pizza shops in White Plains.

This guy under me must of got paid to write what he said. That’s all I’m going to stay about my experience at the new Nicky it’s a shame the service was the best at the old place.

Sure wish I checked Unilocal before going there… but either way… I ordered a chicken slice, didn’t notice that on the«menu» or flyer, whatever you want to call it, that it said chicken and sausage. The guy asked if I wanted chicken and sausage, I said no, just chicken. Paid SIX dollars for a «chicken» slice, which again if I had looked at that flyer I never would have ordered. So I get to the pizza and decide to taste the chicken but then there was all this«other» meat intertwined with the chicken… SAUSAGE! I do NOT eat pork and of course I was thoroughly disgusted. I called to find out if he put sausage on the pizza, he said oh yeah well maybe it got sprinkled in a little bit. I told him that was unacceptable and I’d be coming to get my money back. I get there, and the older guy says he started making me another slice, I let him know that I was totally put off by the sausage and I didn’t want it. Whoever the young dude was grabbed six bucks out of the register and threw it on the counter. I went with my better judgement and didn’t say anything, I just walked out… So Nicky’s is a DUB for me, I’ll keep patronizing Mario’s across the street, their attitude doesn’t SUCK and they have a wider selection.

HUGEDISAPPOINTMENT! Nicky’s was our favorite pizza restaurant for over 20 years. We were so excited to go back & were shocked at the prices — who charges $ 24.90 for a plain pie? And… the pizza was so-so. They didn’t have grilled chicken or sauteed spinach like they used to — just really expensive pizza and a plain house salad for $ 9.99! We expressed our concern to Nicky about his prices & all he said is that he pays $ 25.00/lb for the best cheese available — he didn’t want to hear us — he said that’s what he has to charge. This is a 1& done of Nicky’s 2015.

My favorite Sicilian is back! The staff was friendly and the service was very quick. I don’t understand the complaint about the temporary menu during the relaunch of the new facility. It says temporary right on it… 1 star… you’re not at all realistic and from the looks of your other reviews, you like to complain. Hopefully Nickys makes their way into seamless at some point for online orders.

This is not the Pizzeria it used to be. The prices are insane. Reg large pie $ 24.95, reg Sicilian pie $ 32.95, Reg slice $ 4. Extra item on a slice $ 2. Can you imagine paying $ 6 for a slice with pepperoni? Nicky has to be the rudest person I have ran into in as long as I can remember. I went in around 10:45pm Friday. I asked if they had any Sicilian slices, they were making a fresh pie. I had to pick up a few items at ShopRite, so I asked if I could pay now and have them let it cool. I paid for my slice and when I returned they told me I had to wait for a new pie because they gave away my slice. I paid for it, I waited for it to cool down and they gave it away. I was gone about 20 – 25 mins. I use a motorized handicapped scooter and needed the pizza cooled sp the sauce and cheese set and didn’t run off. I said I couldn’t wait for another pie and it to cool just give me my money back. Nick asked what happened as I began to tell him the strawberry blond guy started speaking over me and when I said that Nick asked me, Nick then would not look at me kept saying give her a new slice, we will get you a new slice, it’s ok we get you a fresh slice wait. I said I wanted my $ 5 over and over. Nick crumpled up a five said for me to take it and that if I took it never to show my face there again, don’t come back. Yes I told him where he could go plus. I tried to give it a chance but those prices and that kind of service oh no no no!
