I really enjoy coming to this place. Their fondues(both cheese and chocolate) are so delicious. I go for the S’mores fondue yummy. Their chocolate martini is pretty good too.

I absolutely love coming the Melting Pot. In my opinion, it doesn’t get better than this for date night, girls night out, a holiday, or any event honestly. The Melting Pot is all about experience and socializing. It is not a restaurant where you can grab a quick brunch or dinner. If you are doing the four course dinner(which price wise makes the most sense) you will be in there for at least two-three hours. In my opinion, that is the best part. It gives you time to enjoy each course of your meal, get a chance to socialize with your dinner partner(s) and have a relaxing experience. The atmosphere of the restaurant is VERY romantic. The lighting is dim and the tables are spread apart so that you feel isolated and can really connect with whoever you are with. My boyfriend and I have come here for the past three Valentine’s Day dinner’s because of the romantic package deals that they have which can include roses, wine, candles and other treats. It really is the place to go if you are looking for a special date experience. The customer service is usually pretty good. I will admit there have been times when I was anxiously trying to reach my server. However, because their job entails for them to cook some of the food for you and to teach people how to use the fondue pot — it is a reasonable explanation as to why they can be busy. Whenever, I have the waiter Sebastian — I must compliment that he is very sweet and knows what he is doing. He is quick and easy to talk too. Everyone here is friendly and helpful. The manager is always greeting his customers and makes you feel welcome. Now, I saved the best for last. The food. The Melting Pot offers a pricey but delicious four course dinner. The first fondue is the cheese, next is the salad, then comes the entrée(meat and fish mostly) and lastly the chocolate. My personal favorite is the cheese, which is funny because most people say chocolate. However, the cheese is so rich and tasty. You can tell its quality product and very fresh. The fiesta cheese is my personal favorite, but it all depends on your taste buds! The Smore’s chocolate fondue is my favorite dessert. It really decadent. The dipping platter has great variety. You can even ask for extra dippers for the cheese and chocolate. It’s worth it! The drinks are also very tasty. They have an excellent variety and are definitely worth a try. They aren’t cheap but the drinks go well with the meal and atmosphere. Overall, so relaxing and enjoyable.

Had dinner here last night and it was great! It’s not just dinner, it’s an experience. The cheese was nice and smooth, bread was fresh, apples were sweet and crispy! The Cesar salad was fantastic, would recommend! Entrée was a nice mix of different meats, enough to fill you up. And dessert was of course my favorite! We ordered the s’mores fondue(milk chocolate with marshmallow and graham crackers), and it was decadent. Great variety in the dipping platter as well! Only downside might have been the service. She was moping and didn’t seem enthusiastic about her job. She also made minor mistakes in our order. And never even asked if we wanted drinks. It was a very quiet night, but we had to track her down if we needed something. Overall, GREAT food, okay service!

(Updated) This is my second time at this location and both times have been really disappointing. The service is just terrible. My girlfriend and I went there for dessert both times and we loved the food, but the service is just ridiculous. Tonight it took our server, Kevin, 20 minutes to greet us. And then we ordered and he brought out a dipping plate that looked like it was half eaten. He seemed like he was in such a rush and barely checked up on us. We asked for water and he ignored us, so I asked a different server that was walking by and again I was ignored. We ended up getting the water when we were about to leave. I should have asked to speak to the manager, but we were just too tired of waiting and being ignored. Absolutely ridiculous. I’m sad to say(because the dessert is so yummy) that I don’t think I will be returning to this location. UPDATE! After visiting this location again, I must say that I am happily surprised. I went there for cheese and chocolate and it was amazing! Our server Paco was attentive and gave excellent recommendations. He greeted us in a timely fashion and took care of everything we needed. The manager, Tony, checked up on us multiple times! My favorite part about tonight was when Paco came back in the middle of our desert to adjust the temperature of the pan so that the chocolate wouldn’t be too hot. Great experience overall. The food was awesome and the service was even better. Will be returning very soon!

OMG I love the Melting Pot! After shopping at the mall on Black Friday, my friend and I decided to go and get some lunch. We got the Classic Alpine fondue for starters, the teriyaki sirloin for the entrée, as well as the house salad with that sweet and tangy dressing! Finally, we got the classic fondue, making us leave full and happy! Just made reservations for tomorrow for my Birthday!!! So excited!!!

Came here recently for a friends birthday and was actually disappointed. I felt secluded and claustrophobic in our tiny booth. The atmosphere is very bland. The food and the drinks were definitely good. I wish it was more lively.

My first time visit and surly not my last it’s comforting when your server knows the menu inside out and makes excellent recommendations on your personal taste. The dunning experience might seem intimidating at first but once you get a handle on what to do and not its a breeze.

Omg!!! This place is awesome!!! My husband and myself just celebrated our a 5th year anniversary at the Melting Pot on Friday night. We decided to go with the summer special! We were seated in Lovers Lane(private little nook) where we were greeted with roses and wine. We received four courses. Each course was absolutely wonderful. The cheese was tasty, salads were yummy, main entrée was fresh, and dessert was scrumptious! What made it extra special was Andre Paul! He explained each course to us. He was personable and funny. He really wanted us to enjoy the whole experience of this place, and we did! He was awesome! For dessert he even gave us a plate with extra dippers that said, «Happy Anniversary!» When we go back, I will ask for him again. If you want great food, time to reconnect privately with you husband/wife, and extra great customer service, then please try the Melting Pot:-)

This was not just a dinner out, this was an experience! After, surprisingly, finding the restaurant located below street level on Mamaroneck Avenue, we were greeted by a beautiful waterfall and friendly hostess who seated us in a comfortable booth decorated in soft, calm tones that had us feeling as if we were in a relaxing spa. Our energetic, personable server, Jay, deftly explained the menu & quickly had us on this epic adventure. We decided, as first timers, to go with the«Four-Course Experience». it begins with choosing a cheese fondue. We decided on the«classic Alpine» which Jay freshly prepared for us, right on our table. It consisted of Aged Gruyère, Raclette, & Fontina cheeses, blended with white wine, fresh garlic, & a touch of nutmeg. Each guest is given different colored fondue forks & we began our journey, happily dipping cubed green apples, bread, & fresh vegetables. Heaven! Jay also brought us extra dipping treats so we could wipe the bowl clean! Our second course was salads. We chose The Melting Pot House Salad: Romaine & Iceberg lettuce, cheddar cheese, tomatoes, croutons, & sliced egg with a choice of Peppercorn Ranch or Tangy House Dressing– excellent, crisp & refreshing after the cheese fondue. We also tried the California Salad, which contained mixed baby greens, Roman tomatoes, candied pecans & Gorgonzola cheese with Raspberry Walnut Vinaigrette. Amazing & so flavorful! This Tasty Lady was swooning & about to bust already! The third course was the main choices. I have to say, I love how flexible they are with choices. You can mix, match, swap, flip– until you find your perfect entrée. We had«Steak Lovers” — Filet Mignon, teriyaki-marinated sirloin & Angus Beef sirloin; «Fondue Fusion” — which consists of cold water lobster, teriyaki-marinated sirloin, Memphis– style BBQ pork medallion, honey orange duck breast & wild mushroom sacchetti(like s dumpling); & ««The Good Earth Vegetarian” — with artichoke hearts, asparagus, portobello mushrooms, Thai– peanut marinated tofu, spinach & artichoke ravioli, broccoli, & potatoes. From a choice of 4 cooking styles, we chose«mojo” — Caribbean-seasoned bouillon with garlic, lemon, lime, & orange prepared right at our table. Well, I’ll tell you, there wasn’t much conversation, as we cooked our food(everything is done between 1 minute– 2 minutes!). Dipping sauces: curry, Green Goddess, teriyaki glaze, Gorgonzola port, & ginger plum are available for sampling & pairing. The flavors and sensations were amazing, matched by the fun of cooking, dipping, & sharing this unique, enjoyable experience! The fourth course, most decadent by far, was dessert. Choose from an amazing array of chocolate fondues. We went easy, Pure Milk Chocolate, which came with dippings of pineapple, bananas, brownies, blondies, rice crispy treats, pound cake, strawberries, &, if not enough: marshmallows covered graham crackers & Oreos. Wow! I’ll say it again, wow! Jay generously offered to bring us extra refills & we managed to scrap up the remaining chocolate with strawberries. Amazing. An epic experience. So fun & different. Bring your family & friends. It is definitely an event! Loved it! The restaurant is beautiful, professional, rest rooms impeccable & beautifully done. When I loose these new extra 10 pounds, I’m going back for more!

Pleasant and unique first time experience with cheese and chocolate fondue. We just had the signature cheddar cheese fondue with beer, garlic and pepper, with the dipper dishes including veggies, Granny Smiths(interesting combo of savory vs sour-sweet) and bread … What I loved was the interpersonal experience with our waiter(recommend highly Mr Andre) who remembered our names and made the fondue sauce before our eyes. Definitely try the signature cheese dish ., then it can be time to venture off to the other dipping sauces. For dessert, we dug into the dark chocolate fondue with dessert platter, which was a max of bite sized brownie, cake, marshmallows(in chocolate and ginger, separately), Rice Krispies, strawberries and bananas … I’m not a huge sweet tooth, but if you are, the sweet fondue is a must have to complete a romantic night!

Don’t even think about it! This place is a total rip off!!! Although, we thought that the traditional cheese fondue was tasty we regret not leaving after the appetizer. The main courses are vile and the salads are like small cafeteria salads with cloyingly sweet dressings. The whole concept of boiling meats creates a pale, tough, and visually unappealing meal that the dipping sauces cannot save. The chocolate fondue dessert is fun and tasty although we couldn’t decipher the difference between the milk and dark chocolate and felt that neither tasted like real melted chocolate, more like Hershey’s syrup.

Came here with my girlfriend about 7 weeks ago for our first date, got a private room where we had champagne and roses on the table for us. Everything was amazing and the server and manager made us feel so welcomed. Definitely recommended.

OMGOODNESS, this place was awesome. I came for the first time to celebrate my niece’s marriage on tax day. Our party of 8 was seated on time, in the private room in the back. Our waitress, Kadijah was AMAZING!!! She took our orders by memory, flawlessly, even though we kept asking questions and changing things around. We had a fun time with the different sauces and chocolates. The food was pretty good, too. To top things off, Kadijah created a really creative congratulatory artful design platter of desserts for my niece and new nephew and Tony the manager sent a round of champagne for our table. How nice was that? They really made the day even more special. I would highly recommend and come back again. Thank you sooo much.

Our server went above and beyond to accommodate us. I asked for tissues, since I had runny nose, and someone went out to buy me a pack of tissue from CVS. Also, we mentioned to her I am 8 months pregnant, and she adjusted our fondue to exclude alcohol. Lastly, when she brought out the chocolate fondue, they had prepared a plate that said«congrats mom and dad» in rainbow sprinkles. It was very sweet.

The food, the service, the atmosphere — a well deserved 5 stars. Came here on a friday night date. Made reservations prior over the phone and the table was ready the second we got there. Our waiter Jared(HIJARED!) — extremely courteous, knowledgeable, and friendly. We opted for the 4 course meal, 1-cheese fondue as appetizer, 2– salad, 3-Main Entrée, and 4– chocolate fondue. The 4 course option qualified us to get a free bottle of wine($ 30– and under options) with our Unilocal checkin-in. SCORE!!! Cheese fondue appetizer was so delicious we almost forgot to save room for the other 3 courses. The salad was good. The entrée options was served raw for self-preparation — great, and finally the dark chocolate fondue — amaze balls. Portion sizes are super filling for the 4 course, definitely completes the experience. If you’re going to come here, make it worth it and go all out. Sat there and enjoyed our dinner for over 2 hours and the staff popped in every now and then to make sure we were completely satisfied. It wasn’t a cheap dinner, let me tell you that, but c’mon that free bottle of wine though, for us, it was definitely worth it.

Great date place! Nice little booths that make you feel like you are eating all alone. We came here for dessert only. We had the Flaming Turtle Fondue and it was wonderful. It really doesn’t get much better than dipping marshmallows and strawberries(and brownies!, and bananas!) in completely tasty chocolate/caramel/pecan goo. In addition, I had an Irish coffee(yum!). Our waiter was super sweet, helpful and attentive and I’ll always have fond(–ue) memories of White Plains ;)
