I’m use to fining crazy awesome places but this ain’t one of em! The food was decent but far from knock your socks off. The service was very good, 1 young lady tan the show and handled the entire place on the other hand there were only 6 diners during my visit. Atmosphere is completely lacking. My table was sticky and the booth was very cramped. Portion and price were fine parking is acceptable just finding the pace is a bit tricky. In total I would order from them again only because I think they are the only Chinese joint in town Don’t be fooled by the name. It’s a Chinese food restaurant that makes a few Vietnam dishes.

I’ve been to this place a couple of times and it’s the real deal. veggies are fresh and food is authetic. I got takeout tonight and the chicken chow main was delicious! The spicy beef was very good as well as the wonton soup. I’ll be back!

Talk about a hidden gem! We were in the area being tourists and decided to stop here for lunch. It’s tucked off the main road. If it wasn’t for Unilocal,we would have never known it was there. So glad we found it. The food was wonderful and tasty. We had a shrimp dish with lots of shrimp that we didn’t have to pay extra for! Gotta love that! Great service. There aren’t many dining options in town. I’m glad we found this one!

Went to Little Saigon in White Rock tonight and my family had a delicious meal with great service! The food came really fast even though they were clearly dealing with quite a lot of carry out orders. They were wonderful in dealing with my son’s allergies, taking a special order for him with no hesitation. I had the House Special Vermicelli(Bun) and it was really tasty. My husband said the Kung Pao chicken was quite good too. We’ll be back soon!

On our way to see Bandelier National Monument. What can I say… seems like the only Asian restaurant in the area. Ordered the lunch special. I think I spotted the waitress spooning food from the lunch buffet bins, but probably for a different customer. I noted a high sauce to rice ratio in our dishes. Oh well, vintage Chinese American food.

Little Saigon is a rarity in Los Alamos: a restaurant that’s open 7 days a week, open continuously from 11 am to at least 9 pm(9:30 on Friday and Saturday), and is actually open when they say they’ll be(way too many eateries around here close up early whenever business gets a bit slow, leaving their now-former customers in the lurch). So it’s a great place for that late lunch at 3 pm after a long hike, or whenever hunger strikes at an off hour. Even if you arrive near closing time, they happily seat you(none of that chip-on-the-shoulder«kitchen is already closed, get lost» attitude that other Los Alamos restaurants have); the staff typically stays late and eats their dinner in house after they turn off the«open» sign, so they’re very welcoming and friendly with late arrivals. The Vietnamese food is excellent. Pretty much standard Phở, Bun, spring rolls, etc., but very well prepared, with generous fresh veggie garnishes. Vietnamese fried egg rolls are served lettuce wrap style, with lettuce, cilantro, and marinated carrots — excellent. The Chinese food is the best in town. Not the best I’ve had anywhere, but very good and definitely a step above anything else in the area.(I guess I have to say that those 5 stars in my rating are 5 Los Alamos stars. Competing in the wider world, I’d rate this place a solid 4 stars.) They even offer my favorite non-authentic Chinese-American dish: beef with fresh tomatoes. Free Wi-Fi is another plus. So if you have a hankering for excellent Asian food, at pretty much any time of day, you’d do well to give them a try.

The last time I eat there I had glass in my food. And they didn’t care that it was there. I was sharing my food with my 3 yr. We will never go back to this place. I really hope they close down soon.

By far better than any of the chinese restaurants in los alamos! If you live/work in los alamos or are just passing through, I can’t recommend this enough. If you want phở there really is no other way to go. Food comes out fast and servings are good size. I’ve tried the seafood noodles and beef phở as well as potstickers and dumplings.

This place is a hidden away jewel. As far as the Chinese cuisine goes, they nail it. While they are suppose to be primarily Vietnamese they cater to the Chinese fan. Most people around here do not understand what Vietnamese food is and they do not order it. But the Vietnamese(Phở, Bun, spring rolls) are great. The Bird’s nest is huge. They have an excellent Chinese buffet. And their Chinese after hour food is fabulous. If you are in Los Alamos, the 10 to 15 minute drive to White Rock is worth it. China Moon and China Palace are gross.

Came here when I was traveling in Los Alamos. I’m typically not big on Chinese or Vietnamese food, but it was in a convenient location. I was very pleased with both the fast attentive service and the meal itself. I ordered crab wontons to start and Kung pao beef as my main course. Very tasty.

There’s not many food choices in White Rock/Los Alamos. I didn’t have very high expectations for Chinese food in the area but I thought this place was pretty good and convenient that it is right next to the Hampton Inn. They have a buffet for only $ 8.50 on weekdays. It’s a great deal since there’s a nice variety of fried rice, chow mein, beef broccoli, potstickers, fruit, etc. The place is pretty spacious and was not too busy during lunch. The service was quick and attentive and everything was clean. It’s not outstanding Chinese food by any means but overall good stop for a quick, cheap, and filling lunch in White Rock.

I havent tried their Chinese food, but their phở is really good and will hit the spot! A hidden gem, especially considering that I come from Los Angeles and the Bay area where the Asian food is excellent.

I love Chinese foods, and used to have decent lunches there. I had dinner there for the first time and it was terrible. Their wonton soup was blend and the wonton doe was undercooked. The garlic beef was decent, but not nearly as good as anticipated. My wife had the special, fried chicken dish, which turned out to be half a deep fried chicken. It was neither breaded not spiced, came with nothing else and was so bone dry, you could not get it past the gag reflex. It took 45 minutes for the food order to start trickling out and one dish was the wrong one. It was as sad dinner.
