I’ve tried several things on the menu from the epic burritos to the tacos and rollers. I do not care for the burritos. The epic burritos and larger burritos have too much rice and beans in them to taste much else. I may not mind the amount of beans and rice if they each had better flavor. The beans are not typical refried beans, they are simply cooked pinto beans. The beans and rice lack seasoning to my taste. However, this may be better for those who prefer milder flavors. Their other items such as tacos, chicken rollers, and quesadillas are actually quite good. The cheese tastes fresh and expensive and the meat is good quality as well. Their tacos taste more fresh than other fast food tacos. The service here is also very friendly and speedy. I give this place only three stars because the burritos are such a big part of the menu and for me, they are not good.

Good food, great service. Had a little issue, problem was resolved quickly. Employees go beyond expectations! Will be coming back.

It was our first time trying this location. The cashier, Sabrina, appeared new but was very friendly and hard-working.(If she wasn’t ringing up an order she was sweeping or mopping, refilling the salsa, etc. She even thanked us as we were leaving, and I think she was either wiping a table or the counter at the time.) I liked the sauces and salsa bar where you could load up on sauce and easily dip or pour. The beer battered fish taco was good but was a little pricey($ 2.09 + tax) for the small size. We went on a Thursday so we got the chicken soft tacos at 3/$ 2.00.

Taco Bell may be the greasy, artificial nacho cheese king of late night cravings but if you love he taste of small taco stand tacos this place is for you! The Ultimate Steak and Guacamole burrito was absolutely ginormous and delicious, very much like the Cali style burritos you find on the west coast stuffed with steak guacamole and a large portion of French fries. Their tacos are equally as delicious. My favorite was the fish taco, I think I could eat 6 of those. Their tacos do run small so opt for 4 – 6 per person if you aren’t ordering anything else. I wouldn’t recommend the quesadillas though, they’re about 90% tortilla and don’t really taste like anything. Yum yum, I’ll be sure to stop by their Taco Tuesday’s and Thursdays for even cheaper tacos.

Way fresher than taco bell. Salsas are AMAZING. I love spicy sauces, and they sure know how to make theirs hot! Quesadillas are the one menu item I wouldn’t recommend. They don’t taste like anything. Prices are pretty fantastic. My favorite is the jacked up bean, cheese, and rice burrito, which is under $ 1! Weird fact: they always seem to be mopping the floors whenever I come in, no matter what time of day. But the floors are never clean.

I don’t even care that my review is biased. I’m so happy this location is close to work that I can have some west coast deliciousness without having to suffer too bad for the drive. Also, Del Scorcho(and the other hot sauces) come in pump form. No more packets!

On my visit this restaurant met all my expectations for a fast food restaurant. The food came out fast and correct. The employees were friendly and responsive. The salsa bar was well stocked. The mild and hot salsa here were spicier than those at the other locations in Dallas that I had been to. The dining area and the restroom were well kept. The tables were wiped clean. The dining area were bright and inviting. It’s hard to give fast food restaurants more than 3 *** star. It’s worth stopping by this restaurant to get a quick bite of Mex fast food if you have a sudden crave for it. I would return to the restaurant if I happen to be in the area.

First time here and not our last. I loved the fish tacos. Don’t expect it to compare to Fuzzys but for a fast food place it was really good. I also had a taco salad. The ingredients inside the bowl were tasty but the bowl itself was stale, greasy and nasty. Next time I would skip the salad and go for the tacos. I had a bite of hubby’s beef taco and it, too, was very good. He said the nachos were just ok. Again stale chips brought the whole thing down. The interior was not what I was expecting. It was decorated in a bright green and it was nice, not at all like a Taco Casa or a Taco Bell.

Just watched the cashier handle the cookies without washing his hands… Don’t get the cookies! Yuck

Super cheap and tasty. Don’t hate! It’s quick and much better than Taco Bell or Taco Bueno. They have some vegetarian options and combos. Staff is friendly too. Clean inside. I liked the salsa and sauce options.

Finally stopped by the west coast import out of curiosity. My experience here was good. Dirt cheap with relatively fresh ingredients and crisp taco shells. I’m not sure what else you can ask for in life really. The place was clean, the staff was friendly, and I enjoyed myself. Very easily beats Taco Bell or Bueno. Menu is varied and they are open 24 hours a day. The signature sauce bar was a nice touch. As a self proclaimed taco snob usually partaking in authentic mexican tacquerias, I am not, however, above a cheap, late night munch fest of really Americanized Mex and this place hits the spot. I really enjoyed it on an appropriate level.

I had the Macho Nachos for breakfast! The food was ready before I could put away my change. Everything was clean and filled and the tables weren’t sticky, which was like the first restaurant that wasn’t this week. Cheap & fast Mex that hit the spot!

Well, as a fan of the Del Taco of yore in California, and with memories of the time when Del Taco was in the Fort Worth area before, I can honestly say that I feel robbed after eating here. Pros: The fountain drinks were good, but they were Coke products. Cons: The nachos were cold, chips tasted burnt, beans were flavorless, meat was flavorless and cold, the hot salsa was empty and the«chicken» was questionable. The manager was apologetic upon returning the nachos and was instrumental in a total refund or our ticket. Even if they were to give free food away, I would not return. If things don’t improve dramatically, I can see this round of Del Tacos being driven out of town by Taco Casa and Taco Bueno. I would rather eat at Taco Bell than here. Boo, Del Taco, boo.

None of my friends who aren’t from California can understand why I was so excited to have a Del Taco open up near me. It’s not fine Mexican dining sure, but it’s definitely my go to spot for ultra cheap fast food. ½ lb bean burritos for .99 cents, giant cups of fries, and the big fat steak tacos hit the spot better than any other fast food I know. I will say that this location does have some catching up to do if it wants to uphold the glorious Del name that it shares with it’s California brothers. The quesadillas are sloppy and the service just a bit slower than what I’m used to but, and it’s probably personal bias here, I have a feeling that they’ll get the hang of it soon. If you’ve never had Del Taco before you should check it out. It’s far better than Taco Bell and Taco Bueno can’t hold a candle to it.
