I love this library. I’m here at least 1 – 2 times a week. I borrow books, e-​books, CDs, and movies… I gotta say I often get the movies the same day they show up in Redbox!

This ten year old library is beautiful, comfortable, well-​organized and well-​designed (Del Wilson, A.I.A., Uihlein Architects).

I freaking love this library. It is beautiful, huge, and cozy. I agree with Melanie– it’s probably the nicest public library I’ve been in as well. The architecture is gorgeous and everything is just so fresh and new! There are lots of comfy places to sit and peruse books. There’s lots of new books to choose from as well. The staff are always friendly. There’s just a nice, relaxing, community feel at this library. So glad to live close by.
Major props to not just this library but the whole Milwaukee County Library system– I love how you can get your books, CDs, etc. delivered from any of the Mke County libraries right to your closest location. So convenient! Next step– figuring out how to check out books from the library onto my Nook.

Wow-​Weeeeeee. This is probably the nicest public library I have ever been in. For realies.
It has a nice cozy feeling once you walk in that quietly suggest, «Sit down and stay awhile». Recently updated/​built, the architecture is devine, vaulted ceilings trimmed with wood and Frank Lloyd Wright type light fixtures. It is also very spacious, you are not crowded among a million kiddos or others looking for books. The layout is done right. There is no strange smell either (*cough*Eastside*cough*).
Now, I don’t have kiddos but you better believe once I do, we will be making weekly trips here. Half of the library is designated for children. Nice. They also have many events for children, i.e. story hour and things of that nature.
What I like best is the books on CD section. I find lots of good gems there for road trips. Also, the travel section is pretty extensive and current, which is great for researching your latest vacation.
WFB Library is part of the Milwaukee County Library system – one card and you can use the whole system. I LOVE IT.
I frequently use their website to request books that are not on the shelf and that is pretty seamless. The book gets sent to WFB and I go pick it up. Simple as that.
Also, there is now a Smart phone App for the Milwaukee County Library system which I plan on using soon.
