Great burgers and rings, good beer too. The mix of locals and tourists is interesting. The restrooms aren’t for the faint or uppity. Just a fun local place with some good eats and drink.

This place is not for children if for no other reason than they should not use the bathroom. Really good burgers, great onion rings and lots of character. Your typical dive bar with lots of interesting wall art and indifferent service. If you’re expecting 4 star service or are sensitive to nude pics this is not the place for you.

Me and a friend came here after skiing and we both had burgers and fries. Food is okay but the service was not the greatest. The lady who took out order was quick and to the point. We were not offered water, no one came and checked on us. It was also cold in there and I had to keep my coat on the whole time.

I really enjoyed this place. It was the only restaurant in this town that actually gave us any good customer service AND great food! Their sour cream and chive fries are AMAZING. And their cheese steak sandwich is sublime. Drinks are cheap and they have a nice selection of booze. A warning though: if you have children with you do not let them in the male bathroom. Take them to the women’s bathroom instead as the «pornography» is limited to just one or two stalls instead of everywhere like the men’s. And if you consider not going there because of the bathrooms then you probably shouldn’t go to a dive/​blue collar bar anywhere.

WARNING: PARENTS DO NOT allow your young children to go into the restrooms of the Bulldog Saloon! There is nothing but PURE pornography plastered on the walls. Totally unacceptable for young children!

Extremely friendly service. NHL package, dozens of TV’s, cheap drinks, excellent burgers! I HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone not from Whitefish. Its not as «updated» as some of the other bars in town, but the service is excellent and my family and I had a great time. We ended up going to Bulldogs several nights in a row. Very nice to out of towners unlike most of the «locals only» bars in town like Casey’s and Great Northern (which I recommend anyone to stay away from).

Damn fine burger and cold, cheap beer.
Not for the faint of heart though. You will not get great table service… you will be in the company of some rough mofos… the music is loud and not always great. But if you can emerge from your tourtoise shell box and meet some locals with a wee bit o banter, this place opens up like a fragrant beer flower for you to sample it’s sweet, friendly (yet slightly prickly) nectar.

I stopped here after a 12 hour drive hour drive over to MT. I was looking for a burger and a beer and they had both of these. The place was kind of gruff but the food was good. It also has some interesting people watching. Mainly people who seemed to be stoned…

Great burgers, great fries, typical bar food.
Gaming takes bigger amount of space, live poker some nights.
A great amount of signed sports memorabilia covers the walls and a lot of tv’s tuned mostly to sports.
Buck May runs a fantastic «Joint!»
Best «Sports Bar» in Whitefish.

Multiple employees were very rude to us.
We were ignored completely by every employee there (all three). The place itself was very rundown. It took 10 minutes to flag down one of the multiple employees in the nearly empty place and she was prissy and rude when we finally talked to her. We then walked out. I don’t normally give a bad review for one-​time occurrences, but because several people were involved I felt this was justified.

Really, what else do you need? This place is renowned through tout the valley; some of it is the bathroom nudies, but mostly it’s the cheap drinks and juicy burgers that make it special. And by special, I mean front-​of-​the-​bus special! Just do it! (Not everyday, but today; today you need this!
