Food was really great here(except for the slaw). Fried okra was hot and crispy, ribs were meaty but did have a bit more fat than I’d like. But the pig wings were the winner of the meal! Crispy with a tasty dusting of spices-I’d come back just for them. Sweet tea was also very nice! The service, on the other hand, left a lot to be desired. Slow on drink refills, she brought a bill from another table that was $ 35 more than our bill… she just seemed really flaky. I would go back despite the service, so that should tell you how good the food was!

Ok bbq food. Server Kim was very nice though and had good service with her. Food though was an ok. Coleslaw taste like pickles. And be beans weren’t so great either.

I went here for breakfast after it was recommended to me by a friend, It did not disappoint!!! I got the kitchen sink burrito and it is massive and so good!!! The staff were super friendly and the atmosphere is great! I will be making this my regular stop on my way up the mountain in the mornings from now on!

The Montana dog is to die for, juicy hotdog smothered in pulled pork and sauce then covered in cheese. Add in a side of the AMAZING buff chips and you’ve got a meal that can’t be matched in the valley. The kitchen staff is great, always good for a recommendation on what’s best that night(if Stevie is working you may get a custom special!) and talking to their customers to find out how they did and share a laugh. Some of the waitresses seemed a bit frazzled but as busy as they were I’m not surprised, especially on summer nights you are lucky if you can find room to stand muchless sit and eat.

I’m originally from the valley and come back often, and have driven by Piggyback many times and always wanted to stop in. Finally, the sun was out, the stars aligned, and we were able to fill our bellies with the wonderful, smokey, savory goodness from inside. I was interested to see if the service would be poor, since it looks like some folks have had issues with this, but ours was great. Really friendly waitress, food came out quickly, no complaints there. A few of the guys were really impressed with the microbreweries they had on tap. A few in particular were very obscure and hard to find, so they were all smiles when they found out they could enjoy some unique suds along with their fresh BBQ. When the food arrived, we were salivating at everything. We covered the gamut on getting different things and we were happy with it all. The only thing that could use some love is the cornbread. It is really dense and dry, not the light, fluffy and fresh(it was also cold) cornbread you would normally like along with your BBQ. Everything else was great! Excellent variety of homemade BBQ sauce that is on the table, too. I can’t wait to get back and fulfill my BBQ fix next time I’m in town!

Disorganized disaster of a resturant. They acted like being busy was an excuse for rediculously crappy service. Waste of time!

The bbq pulled pork here is excellent and portions very good. I never leave hungry. I love the traditional be sauce, and the slaw is a good vinegar based slaw. I’ve been around the block with bbq in several places and this is up there for me among the best. Service is very good and they care about their food and want you to enjoy it.

Been going here for a while now, they’ve really stepped up the food here since I started going and I friggin love this place. My favorite sandwich is the True Grit I’d recommend it to everyone.
