I was out shopping my fiancé was away so I decided to give the corral another try since our previous visited when it first opened wasn’t the best experience. Anyway the guy at the grill asked how I wanted my steak told him medium rare he was making them as I was standing there you talk into a microphone which wasn’t there in the past plus they make them fresh off the grill no longer to they just put them out on a tray and stick a pick in them telling you what doneness they are. I have to say I was very impressed by the piece of steak I got it was thick and juicy a good size porton medium rare just the way I like it. The prime rib was good too it was pink inside not dry. also had some fried shrimp, one fried ravioli with sauce that was good also. Took a piece of salmon with pineapple on it a little kick to it but tasted good. and a tried a strip of bourbon chicken good also. had some creamy clam chowder liked that made a small spinach salad couldn’t eat it all but it was fresh. Had a chocolate covered strawberry for dessert and one piece of fudge. all I can say is that I would comeback with my fiancé next time and he would not be disappointed like the other 2 times we’ve gone there once for lunch and for the past which was at least 3yrs ago.

I grew up with Golden Corral and was never really a fan… I could get home cooked meals at home. However since moving away from«home»…I find it harder and harder to find the foods that remind me of my family dinner table. This restaurant was like most buffets but the cleanliness, friendliness, and service really won me over. The staff was beyond accommodating, considering we came in 30 mins before closing. I was really impressed with how none of the food looked cold or dull. Everything looked fresh and inviting. The taste? It tasted like home. Shout out to the amazing hostess Maria.

Of course it’s a Golden Corral, so your expectations can’t be too high, but this place? Just overall badness. I’ve seen my fair share of Golden Corral and the food comas that ensue, but this is by far the worst restaurant of the chain that I’ve visited. I actually left not feeling like a piglet, rather one who knows portion control, which to me is not ideal in a buffet-style restaurant. Consistently cold food, dirty environment, mundane dessert selection compared to others, the soda fountains ran out of syrup, the manager randomly hovered about with a steely gaze, and an obviously new employee was left scrambling in the dark by coworkers watching the whole thing unfold and it was pretty cringeworthy to watch. Not sure what the problem is here. Management? Staff? Bad night? Combination of all three? I don’t know, but spend your money elsewhere until/if the place gets back on its feet.

We went into this restaurant because it was close by and we were really hungry. Terrible quality, overcooked food. Dirty dishes — had to dig through the pile to find one that didn’t have something stuck on it. At least the ice cream was good. And it wasn’t even inexpensive! $ 31 for two of us. We walked out hungry too. I’ll never go to a Golden Corral again.

We’ve been there a few times. The food has always been very good, we found the staff to be helpful and polite and we’ve had no issues with the overall cleanliness of the establishment. The prices are reasonable and there is a good variety of food.

I don’t typically review places like this, I mean its fast food not a 5 star restaurant; however for $ 30.00 for 2 I expect the food to at least be edible. We’ve given Golden Corral a couple of chances and each visit was worse than the previous. This time, I decided to try the steak. I asked for medium rare, what I ended up with was so well done I could have made a belt out of it. Everything else was flavorless, and seemed as if it had been in the warming trays for hours as the food was really dried out. Will not eat there again.

don’t come here for the food(average) don’t come here for the service(it’s obvious that the workers are only there until they find another job) but…you should still experience this place once, just to check out the people. they seem to stop here on their way to audition for«the people of wallmart»

I came here with a friend/coworker as a way to get out of the house for a while. First time I had ever been to a Golden Corral. It had been quite a long time since I had gone to a buffet, and I «fasted» all day to make sure I would have a very good appetite. I decided I would try one piece or spoon full of as many different things as I was willing to try. That way, I would be able to review a lot of things. Wow, was I STUFFED by the time we left! Ok, so here is what I tried: First trip to the buffet: Mini Peach waffles w/sweet cream cheese topping Penne Pasta with Marinara Tater Tots Fried Chicken Roasted chicken Biscuit with gravy Second trip to the buffet: Burbon chicken Yellow rice One more piece of fried chicken Tried one sautéed mushroom from my friend’s plate Dessert: Apple pie Chocolate fondue over a rice crispy treat Butter Pecan ice cream with caramel topping I’m a total«breakfast for dinner» freak, which explains the waffle and gravy biscuit, lol. But they were both great! I thought the scoop of creamy stuff on the waffle was butter, but I tasted it… No, it was kinda like a cream cheese frosting? That with the peach on top was an excellent contrast to all the savory stuff I ate. The biscuit and gravy were sooo yummy, chunks of sausage in the gravy and the buttery, flaky biscuit… The penne and marinara killed my Italian food craving. Very good! The marinara sauce does not have meat, so far as I could tell. But good flavor. The roasted chicken had a simple but pleasing flavor, mild but tasty. The fried chicken? I would say they could compete with KFC, although its less salty. I think that was my favorite, lol. My second trip to the buffet, my friend talked me into trying the bourbon chicken and I got a side of the yellow rice. I snagged one more piece of that fried chicken and my friend gave me a sautéed mushroom from her plate to try. The bourbon chicken was good, although it was a little strong for me. It tasted like chilli without the beans, and kinda sweet… Reminded me a little of baked beans? It was good, just not my favorite. The yellow rice was mild and helped thin out the bourbon chicken a little. I did like the sautéed mushroom, though. It was a whole one, but tiny. Dessert… Of course I had to goof around with that fondue fountain! Lol. So I jammed a rice crispy treat on a stick and dove right in. That was pretty good, very rich chocolate. I liked the apple pie too, not too tart, good crust. My favorite was the butter pecan ice cream, YUM! And the gooey caramel. I kept spooning the ice cream on top of the pie for that«alamode» thing. I didn’t get a chance to get buffet pictures, but there were A LOT of things! They did have a big salad bar and even a place to get ribs and steak. Pancakes, eggs and sausage too. Even nachos, cheese, and chili-meat topping. Fish, you name it. Honestly, I loved this place and would certainly come back! The service was very attentive and friendly. I think it would be a great place to bring friends, or go out with the family. Even a date, if you are relaxed enough with each other to go buffet style.

This was my first time going to a Golden Corral and I have mixed feelings. The food was pretty good and I finally got to have good Jello that didn’t feel like chewing gum. The only thing I was disappointed at was that anything that needed to be fresh wasn’t. For example, the broccoli, and fruits were dry and looked like they were sitting there the whole day and dried up. But the rest of the food(biscuits!) was pretty good.

Food was poor quality especially for the price. There were screaming kids running everywhere with no manager to step up, take control, and ask parents to control their poorly behave children. The dishes were also extremely dirty. Check your bowls. Gross.

No food. They take over 20 minutes to bring out anything. The line for the steak is super long. And when I did get food, the chicken was raw. Regret coming here. Everything I did manage to get tastes bland. Except for their fried fish. Pros: you realize there’s better food out there. Cons: you came to this place instead.

Utterly disgusting. The baked ham was good. That’s the only good thing I could say. If you paid me money to go there again I would say no thanks. Took my family of five there and even my kids thought the place was totally disgusting. Just awful.

I wish I could rate this place a NOSTAR! Seriously horrible. Went to Golden Corral with three other people and we all left after we saw the disgusting buffet. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and asked to talk with the manager. The manager came to our table and pulled up a chair and sat down at out table. The first thing he said was«I didn’t do it». I think he was trying to be funny but we weren’t in a happy mood. I told him most of the food bins were empty and the food didn’t look fresh. He said«Our food is the best in the area» and avoided my questions. I told him we were not eating and didn’t offer any refunds or discounts after we paid and DIDN’T eat. I took pictures of the dirty floors with trash all over. The carving station had a piece of ham carcass on it for the whole time we were there. The chocolate fountain had used dirty sticks in it and trash. The banana pudding was liquid and hot. The management has no clue. I worked at plenty of restaurants and this place is a ticking time-bomb for food poisoning. If you want a better buffet experience go to Old Country buffet, which is close by and 100% better, cleaner.

My prior review was in 2013, fast forward to 2015– service was horrible and food was so terrible, I can’t fathom the thought this place has passed food inspection! –Cutlery is DIRTY! Knives and forks have food grime on them! –No service, plates just stack up, no one comes to take dirty plates –Food is POOR! The Tuna smelled like a sample of E-coli plate from microbiology! –Ribs were 99.99% bone! –No BBQ sauce –No refills –The brown gravy was filthy –Food on the floor –Random unattended dirty tables This place doesn’t even get long lines like other GCs, I guess because locals won’t step in here.

I thought I was going to die after eating at this place. Every item was either out of a can or frozen. The only thing enjoyable was the chocolate fountain. Will never come back again.
