The Macy Woman dept here is huge — the salesclerk said it was the 4th largest in the county. They have junior plus sizes, lots of casual, some Ralph Lauren, and a fancy dress area. I was surprised. The sales racks are great also. Happy Shopping.

Macy’s of Lehigh Valley has really gone down hill. Was just there today and last week. The sales associates need better customer service training and the merchandise is disheveled and all over the place. I don’t like shopping there anymore nor would I recommend it. Poor customer service and sloppy sales floors.

When I don’t want to make the painful drive to King of Prussia, I pop into this Macy’s for Free People clothing, True Religion denim, and Chanel cosmetics.(They don’t really have any other designer names than that, so don’t get too excited. LOL!) The Free People collection is EXTENSIVE! And, if you are looking for Free People on sale, there is always at least a rack of it! Moreover, I frequently find True Religion that either is not the color I want or size I need … when I ask the sales associates, they always find what I want online and ship it to my house. LOVETHAT! Moreover, this Macy’s has an excellent collection of Chanel cosmetics(right by the entrance to the mall). And, when you buy something, ask them to hook you up with a few samples … they are generous to their repeat customers. Likewise, occasionally you can locate some Coach shoes here that aren’t sneakers covered in big C’s.(Who buys those??!) So, take a trip around that particular area(across from the Origins counter).(The rest of the shoes are a little on the cheap end, so skip the other ones). The upstairs is a little bit of a waste, so don’t even bother(a lot of inexpensive kitchen items, overpriced linens, and track pants for senior-citizens). In total, if you love Free People but don’t love the crushing attention from sale-associates at Sage(or their prices), head on over to this Macy’s. Totally worth the trip!

My family and I had come to Allentown for my daughter’s graduation. US Air managed to lose my husband’s carry on which they insister he check. He arrived for a of celebrating with none of his clothes. We went to Macy’s on a very busy Saturday afternoon with no time to spare. We were able to find everything we needed and Barbara, the sales person in the men’s department could not have been more helpful She found coupons, discounts etc to help ease the pain. She was amazing and the store itself had everything we needed to save the day!

I went to this Macy’s today to look for a pair of boots(the zipper on mine had just broken). If you have thinner calves — actually, I think my calves are pretty average sized — don’t even think about shopping here. I tried on at least ten different pairs of boots here from different brands, and only one of them actually fit my calves, and even then only in a half-size smaller than my usual. I was prepared to buy those boots, but they couldn’t locate one of the boots! While I thought the service was very good and they did try, especially given that it was Christmas Eve, I don’t understand how they could just lose half a pair of boots.

The customer service here is horrible, but I can always find an amazing deal on one their sale racks. I like the selection of brands at this particular Macy’s, just wish there was more help.

I shop here for my boyfriend because there is no other place to shop for men in Lehigh Valley. This particular Macy’s is very disorganized and I always think its layout if backwards. The way the brands are grouped a presented does not make sense and its always a mess. Full price items on Clearance racks, sale items on the floor, and when I am ready to check out– it’s so hard to find someone at a register to cash me out. Maybe they have staffing issues, but from my outlook– there is usually no one to help.

I like shopping at Macy’s, but only for certain things. I find shopping for women’s clothing in general to be overwhelming at Macy’s. Too many sections. I understand why they separate things by brand, but when I want to buy a skirt, I hate digging through an entire floor to find what I want. I’m not so designer or brand specific that I go looking something that way. I go here to look for shoes, housewares & men’s clothing. They almost always have a good selection of clearance ties & dress shirts for my husband. I’ve also had good luck buying coats here. Service is hit or miss. Back in Columbus, I loved shopping at Macy’s. We always had great luck finding people to help us. This Macy’s is just«eh» in that category.
