I know, it’s Red Lobster, but I just can’t shake the memory of my college years when two of my best friends from high school, a boy and a girl who later got married and then I with whoever was boyfriend at the time, would go to a location in Long Island, wait an hour, sometimes more and then enjoy the huge platters. Back then, it was really a treat as neither of us had much money. And then we stopped going-saddled with kids, discovering other places, Red Lobster became a distant memory, and we also lost touch with these friends as our worlds diverged. Well, a few years ago, we picked up again where we left off, and on our recent family outing together, could not think of a better place to eat. There were 9 of us, we were seated quickly, in two booths next to each other, the kids had their own booth, and the adults rehashed the memories of the youth. We enjoyed the food, kids also are very well and we had a great service by two ladies named Jess and Jauzz. They were always on hand, asking if we needed anything, clearing the plates, bringing more cheddar biscuits, refilling the drinks. So 3 stars for the food, and an additional star for the service.

Haven’t been to a Red Lobster since my childhood but strangely, it’s good to see nothing has changed. I enjoyed this place as a child and I still do. I think it’s the biscuits. It’s like comfort food. They’re overpriced for pre-fab food but I relish the consistency. Our server was excellent! What a pip! Ask for her. Her name is Angie. So funny and that’s the way we like it! Sometimes, an awesome server makes all the difference! We got the Langoustine Artichoke Dip which was a tad bit salty but I liked the semi-homemade flavor of the chips. He got the Sailor’s Platter and I got the Shrimp Linguine Alfredo. Nothing spectacular but definitely not disgusting. Like I said, it’s food that takes me back to my youth. I shall return!

There are always people here. The staff is nice and the place looks great. Food«should» be better. Biscuits and salads are fine. For example I had ultimate feast. Everything was way way way too salty. The butter isn’t butter. The shrimp dish should have some scallops in it and the shrimp and shallops should be pan seared. Not drenched in a water margarine oil mixture lol

I have absolutely no complaints on this restaurant! The service is amazing from the time the waiter/waitress puts the delicious and fresh cheddar bay biscuits on your table to the very end when you can request a biscuit bag to go! The call ahead seating is always extremely helpful, and the food is always amazing and perfect.

I always have a pleasant experience when I come here. Service is always top notch and as far as chains go, Red Lobster is the best place to go around here for fresh seafood. I usually come in during the fall for AYCE shrimp($ 17.99) and then again in the winter(Feb-March) for Lobsterfest.

Call ahead seating is getting worst. Call ahead at 5:45PM. a party of 6 one sr. with a walker. never got seated. was told when we called in it would be about 1 hour 300r 45 minutes. 2 hour and 10 minutes at least. they had seated many party of 2=3=4=5 we never got in. A man came without a call ahead seating said it to the girl at the desk .Then asked to talk to manager .manager they shook manager turn to the girls at 7:15PM told them go ahead and seat them. the one girls look right at me with such a funny look on her face. then said to me you will be next .that was the straw the broke the camel’s back. At 7:50PM we left.. they came running out to me in the parking lot and oh we just calling your name now. 2 hour 5 minutes or more. this is a very poor business one thing for sure I’m glad for my face book giving the address for

This place is going downhill. I have been going to this particular location for well over 20 years. I understand this is not a high end seafood restaurant but they have always provided a quality meal at a reasonable price. Not anymore. The last two visits the food was poorly cooked, either over done or barely done. Some food was just warm, not hot. Last visit our waitress took 20+ minutes after taking our order to come see if we needed refills on our drinks. Took another 15+ minutes before our food came, and only after we flagged down a manager. Poor service and very inattentive waitress. Typically the service is better. Also, prices have gone up to a point where they are near a higher end restaurant. I don’t think I will be going back.

The staff and service was excellent and professional. Had a small(as in minor) issue with my steak(yes I had a steak added on to my entrée) and they replaced it and offered something extra to make up for the inconvenience. Thanks to Carolynne and the manager Ron for the great service

Hi all, my wife and I thought that we would give RL another chance So went again on(4aug15) and … THEPLACEHASACTUALLYGOTWORSE! 1. Waited for over 15 mins to be seated(on a Tuesday evening @ 530pm) and the place was EMPTY ?? Go figure that out. 2. Food arrived and was cold and some things were not what we ordered! 3. Weird smell coming from under our booth area? Well … Guess what? It was a large piece of fish !!! My wife and I were so disgusted that we did not finish our meals or even report this to the manager. My family and I will NOT patronize ANYREDLOBSTERAGAIN!!!

Had a great dinner with the family. Our server Ron was excellent. Never had to ask for a refill. The biscuits were great and everyone loved their entrees.

I came here with my husband back in April when there was no line to get into the restaurant. Both my husband and I felt the service was very slow and the food was below par. the only thing that was good in this experience where the biscuits.

I haven’t been to Red Lobster in a while. I went there last night around 8pm. We did not want to wait, so we sat at the bar. The service was excellent! The bartender was very professional and«on top of it.» the problems were the food and atmosphere. It actually smelled at the bar! The cheese biscuits were still excellent and the salad was fresh. When the food came, one of the lobster tails seemed not fresh compared to the other lobster tail. I just was not impressed with the entrees at all. The fudge cookie dessert was good, but was served with dirty spoons which the bartender promptly replaced at request. Bottom line: The place was dirty and smelled and the food did not seem fresh.

Came here for Lobsterfest and I was not disappointed. The food aside, I had to update my review to boast about the terrific service we received. Server, Ryan L., was EXCELLENT! Extremely knowledgeable, courteous, efficient and accommodating. I can not sing his praises enough. He made us feel as if we were the only patrons there. He anticipated our every need. Just excellent service!

First of all, if Red Lobster is your favorite restaurant that’s our first problem. I don’t understand the wait for this place on a Friday night. I digress… We came on a super busy Friday night for a guaranteed Lent friendly seafood dinner(& biscuits). We were greeted to a 40 minute wait time so we sat at the bar and had some drinks and apps while we waited. The bartender, Ean, was a breath of fresh air in terms of friendly bartenders. She was attentive & funny so we decided to stay at the bar and ditch the main dining room experience. It was probably the best choice we could have made. Long story short, if you’re so inclined to eat at RL on a Friday night in Whitehall, make sure you grab a seat at the bar and have some laughs with Ean.

Endless Shrimp!!! What a deal. Different kinds of shrimp, all you can eat! And… if you don’t like the kind that is skewered, cuz the flavor is too intense, they will bring some that is skewered and flame cooked without the spices. The sides were surprisingly not bad for such a cheap meal. Needless to say, we all pigged out. There were 4 of us, and we all had at least 2 orders, trying the different varieties. And OMG… those cheddar biscuits! (No kidding… I actually started this review like 2 hours ago, and spent those 2 hours researching the biscuits online. The mix is sold in stores! Suh-weeeeet!) Really, they are so good I was checking all my clothes, wondering how I’d be able to sneak some out. Wish I’d known that they sell them for like 12/$ 4. But now that I know I can make them myself… ooh, I’m gonna get so fat. Yes, they are THAT freakin’ good. And I normally hate biscuits unless they’ve got egg, cheese and bacon, especially from the golden arches, to which I treat myself twice a year to that secret guilty pleasure. But I digress… Service was great. Our waitress was so friendly and funny, all dishes arrived hot and didn’t have to wait too long. Get there early! We had call ahead seating and still had to stand around for at least 30 minutes. And we were there before 530PM! And it’s quite a large crowd that is waiting for a table, which can be very uncomfortable. I almost want to give them 4 stars just because of the endless shrimp, but it’s a temporary promo, so I can’t. I might have given them 4 if we didn’t have to stand around for 30 minutes after we called ahead. Synopsis: if you haven’t tried it, you MUST get the endless shrimp while it’s available!

Nice place, very clean, staff is very friendly. We went for all you can eat shrimp., you can choose from six diffrent kinds. You start with three types and then you order more, one kind at a time. Waitress took my reorder when I receved the shrimp so I was never waiting for food. The coconut bites were the best. It was crowded but we had great service. It is a large restaurant and they handle large crowds well. They have call ahead seating witch is great on busy nights.

Located in the outer parking lot of Lehigh Valley Mall. This is a chain restaurant. The food is usually the same at most. The parking lot always looks full, but we were able to get right in on a week night. The service was good and so was the food. They do have other items beside seafood on the menu.

It’s been a couple of years since I visited a Red Lobster. For some reason I like this chain. Maybe because of memories of past dinners with my family, or maybe it’s the cheddar rolls lol. Either way, Red Lobster is predictably good. The restaurant in the Whitehall Mall(a stand alone building) is one of the nicer ones. Maybe because it is a newer building. Regardless, it was quite clean. Service was friendly, food was good. I had the whole lobster for $ 27, which I ordered split and cleaned; however the cook didn’t do the best job with splitting the tail or claws. But I did enjoy it in spite of burns from the lemon entering the small cuts I received when I had to do the splitting myself. My girlfriend ordered a 4 course shrimp special: Habanero coconut shrimp, which consisted of coconut shrimp(small shrimp) on a bed of rice, and a skewer of habanero spiced shrimp. Good contrast, but the coconut shrimp had a sweet sauce which, although good, made the shrimp soggy. Best to get the sauce on the side and dip. The meal also came with a soup, salad and dessert. Good for the price, I think $ 18.

I hadn’t been to Red Lobster in years and for some reason remembered it being gross. My experience here definitely wasn’t gross, though! Nice, new restaurant. Super clean with a really courteous staff. The food definitely wasn’t 5 star, but it was above normal chain seafood for sure. I was more than happy with my meal and definitely happy with the value.
