I came here for a 1st birthday. There was about 50+ people and the food was set up buffet style. There was plenty of food, but the set up was awkward. 50 people standing on a line that faced the doors that guests came in was not a good set up. The food itself was good being that it was a catering hall. The chicken francese and chicken marsala were memorable. The wait staff was attentive but at times overwhelmed. My table ran out of wine and when we asked someone for another bottle, they never came back. The valet parking was surprisingly fast, being that this place is located on the Cross Island service road and has no formal parking lot.

Pretty nice place, went here for a communion. Very nice staff, but they need some work with their waiters. I ordered a well done steak, and they messed up about three times. First they gave me rare, then medium rare, then medium, when I had specifically asked for a WELLDONE steak. Other than that, the place is clean and well maintained.

Came here a couple of times for some banquets and all positive experiences. The food is okay, not bad at all. The workers and valets here are nice. They had a bar and dance floor when I went. I would recommend Verdis if you’re looking to book a party.

I went for MetLife Christmas party on 12÷9÷2015 and I like the restaurant for a couple of reasons: arrived and hello with valet parking. The decorations were up scale with private room seating around 100 people with a great dancing floor. And DJ was included in the price around $ 50 per head. Buffet food serviced were really delicious! I specially like the steak with pepper and the seafood Spanish rice. The service was also really polite and the departure valet service was quick and in order. I would recommend my friends for sure.

Went to a fundraiser here a few weeks ago! I’ve been to the Verdis in Westbury a handful of times, and the one is Whitestone is just as good. I was very happy. The food was awesome, place was very clean and the staff was very nice. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking to book a party or an event.

Had my daughters communion and food was great ! Service was excellent from beginning to end The drinks were watered down or you need to pay more for top shelf which if I knew how watered down it would’ve been I would’ve paid extra for the upgrade We ordered chair covers in white and yes I know it’s white but I found 8 – 10 of them dirty with large dark stains! The manager on duty helped us quickly change them before guests arrived House DJ was great ! Their dessert are delicious and the MGR Angelo was awesome ! Very helpful and added some extras at the end that made the party fun and memorable !!!

I found the food well prepared and service friendly and knowledgeable… Atmosphere was quiet and perfect for a nice night out with the wife. I would like to reference another review on this page which is slander at best. @Sherry K. Stick to the review, you embarrass your self and with this review. And as for liquor being cheap that would be the fault of the person throwing the part as they decide if they want top shelf liquor. Have you never catered an event with all your so called experience. Please people do not let the ramblings of a misanthrope deter you from sampling this restaraunt or catering hall. The Venue is family oriented and friendly. An A+ in my book

This is the WORSTPLACE I’ve ever went to a catered event! Liqour was cheap, and I know they watered down the Absolute vodka! Which, btw, is ILLEGAL! The wait staff doesn’t know what the hell they are doing and couldn’t care less. One side of the room got their cake right away, my side waited half anhour! Nobody took orders for coffee, it took 45 minutes for that. We NEVER got spoons, and we got pastries presented on an aluminum pie plate from the 99 cent store!!! Salad came with no dressing. They plopped a bottle of olive oil and a bottle of balsamic vinegar on the table. …both still in store bottles! Not even poured into a carafe. LOWCLASSALLTHEWAY! I swear the coffee was Sanka. When I went to the manager/owner, to complain about service, she looked shocked, like it never happened before. Yeah, right! I do a fancier bbq, NOTKIDDING!!! Anyone out there that thinks this place is ok, you need to go out more often, maybe, take a few cooking classes and know the Department of Health standard s. I have my food handlers license from DOH, as well as, culinary education AND bartenders licence!!! I wouldn’t let this place cater day care, much less parties, of any kind! In my opinion, this place should be CLOSED!!! FOREVER!!! AND no staff member, or owners, should be allowed to work in this industry EVERAGAIN!!! The only reason I even gave it one star, is because there is no symbol for ZERO!!! The only good thing I can say, is that the place didn’t catch fire while we were there. But, if it did burn to the ground after we left, then, that would be the silver lining to this dark cloud! I came home and made a sandwich. So… do u think I was articulate enough in my review??? DON’T GO, DON’T GO, DON’T GO, DON’T GO!!!

Went there recently for my mother in laws retirement party. Food was excellent and the drinks were flowing. Everything came out on time and the service was great. Looking for another party there soon.

The best caterers in Queens. They are affordable, family owned and serve excellent food. I have had my sweet 16, sorority party and have celebrated other parties here as well. They also have parking and a wide selection of food!

Came here for a communion, the room we had was downstairs it was a little small but OK. The food was good nothing to special, the waiters look like they were in a rush to get us out of there(we heard their was another party after ours). All in all a pretty good place to have an event but be warned their parking lot SUCKS tiny as hell. I would seriously suggest grabbing a spot on one of the back streets.

We were here for a birthday party and had a good time but the food left some to be desired. The chicken francese was maybe the worst I have ever had. The seafood appetizer with shrimp and mussels was alright. However the calamari was not good at all, felt like rubber and lacked flavor. Also the cheap wine they served was embarrassing, it looked and tasted like some $ 6 bottle from Rite Aid. The party we held was fairly low-key and downstairs. The rooms upstairs looked nice for large events.

Typical catering food. Don’t let the valet parking park your car. They drive like Mario Andretti, change your radio station, and smoke in your car.

This is another place which we have visited many time only because we were invited as guest but we will never spend a dime in this establishment . The Food is absolutely the worst we have had, no manner, no professionalism, the pasta come cold and over cooked like purée, the seafood is rubbery and chewy, the salad is rusty and very old looking, the wine list has the cheapest garbage wine money can buy, the ambient is like a flea market more than anything, the owner dresses as he just came from the farm, the waiters spoke very broken English, the bar attendant don’t know a difference between a tomato and a potato behind the bar, in other words this is the worst dining out experience you are about to have if you go to this place please stay away from this place !

I went here for a baptism last night. The food sucked! After bringing our food, after everyone had eaten already my medium steak was well done with no seasoning. Every single person at our table was looking for salt and pepper. they stuck us in a corner where we couldn’t move against the mirrored wall. I was very disappointed the waiter didn’t even know what kind of food they had just chicken steak or fish. Very unprofessional.

I have been to a lot of events here over the year, but a recent event here just confirmed the great events they throw here. Food is really good. Service outstanding and it’s very clean. Sal thr server and Oscar the bartender are a must. Valet for parking is clutch because their lots fill up quickly. Their banquet salmon was delicious as was the chicken parmigiana. Seafood platter was good, butbthe best thing I had was the table bruschetta. I had at least 10 pieces.

We planned a retirement party here for 50 people Feb 2014. The owners were very gracious and helpful. We were supposed to get the smaller hall but since the larger hall wasn’t booked that night; they gave it to us free of charge. We had a portable projector and they loaned us their projector screen. The hallways, rooms, and bathrooms were very clean. They have a NYC restaurant grade of A. The event hall was decorated very nicely. The parking lot is tight but I was able to find parking a block away on the neighborhood street. The bartender was friendly and quick to serve you so there wasn’t much of a wait time. He wasn’t stingy with the pour so that every mixed drink was just right. The served appetizers were above average pigs in a blanket, broccoli balls, and potato croquettes. They were hot when served so you know it wasn’t sitting around. We selected to have a buffet dinner so that people can mingle. The food was delicious and freshly made. The cold buffet was tasty and the hot buffet was hot not that reheated stuff you get from some other places. We had some guest that arrived very late. The buffet was still out and the maître d served those guest personally. The owner went out of his way to make me a plate of the tripe since my party planners didn’t select it as a hot food item. I have to say; it was delicious; best I had in years. We hope to plan some more of our company parties there since everyone had a great time.

Here is one star Verdi’s for being over-priced and landing top spot on my worst food list. Save yourself that hard-earned guap and take it somewhere else. Verdi’s is a location that you go to for big events. The space provided is pretty large and usually for parties that are under or above 50. There are two rooms available for parties, ceremonies, etc. To relieve you of stressful parking, they offer valet parking. The food that they served us that night was Italian. It consisted of cold dishes such as romaine salads, seafood salad, rolls, and hot food such as clam pasta, chicken parm, and steak and peppers. The food here is absolutely awful. For the venue, 50 of us paid about $ 75 each with the open bar. The clam pasta they served tasted only of pasta served with rubbery calm meat. The steak had almost no flavor at all. Like meatballs, chicken parmesan at an Italian restaurant you just cannot mess up. After being disappointed, I was not expecting much. I was pleasantly surprised that it tasted like chicken parm at all. But of course, it was extremely soggy. I took four bites of my food and decided the food was not worth the extra stomach space… so I took advantage of the open bar. If you do end up here on someone else’s accord, be advised. SITRIGHTINFRONTOFTHEBAR. Take a shot for me and thank me later . if it was not for the endless bar, this place would have knocked off this place to a zero, if that was possible anyway. On top of it all, the owner rudely barged in and shut down the open bar an hour and a half before our time there was open. We definitely did not get our money’s worth.
