Mike and Maggie’s Pizzeria

Good pizza great service owner Mike is awesome but the hidden gem is the Philly cheesesteak gives Philadelphia a run for their money

Been coming here for over five years now. Their pizza is very good, however I usually order a pepperoni calzone, because Mike and Maggie’s calzones are the best in the solar system! Mike is a nice guy, and the big guy with the beard makes great calzones (come to think of it, it would probably be a good idea to finally learn his name, considering the fact that I’ve been coming here for so long).
This shop is more than just your average pizzeria. One of the coolest things about it is that the staff is always creating unique, new recipes for their pizzas, such as, the Mini Margherita, Spinach and Provolone, Spicy Frittata, and many others. A few years back, Mike made me a pepperoni calzone with green food-​coloring in the dough in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day! I really admire the creativity of this shop.
If you are ever in Whitestone, I definitely recommend that you stop by Mike and Maggie’s!

We would always drive past Mike and Maggies. One day we decided to go in and order. 1^st they are friendly! 2 the prices are great! 3 and most of all the pizza is sooooo good!!! I have to say that we“use” to be big fans of Amore but not anymore! If you want great pizzaz, Mike and Maggies’s is the place to go!!!

Was craving pizza and found this place on Unilocal that is right off of the Cross Island Parkway. About 5 – 7 min from Northern Blvd between 149^th and 150^th.
I asked for half pepperoni and half mushroom. Almost all places where I order mushroom gives those slimy canned ones. However these were fresh mushrooms which made me very happy.
Great, friendly service and they deliver!
I will be returning again for their yummy pizza.

It’s fresh pizza, family owned, and the quality is there. All their pizza is great with a thin dough, the way it’s supposed to be. I especially recommend their white pizza. Each customer is treated well. Drop in if you’re in the neighborhood, and even if you’re not.

Freshly prepared pizza. Just the perfect amount of crunch and chewiness to it. Pies seem a little on the smaller side though…

I went there today for the first time. The food was great. Their sauce is delicious. Aside from that the two gentlemen there, one was the owner I believe, were very nice people. I would definitely go back to try something other than pizza

Great pizza consistently– Always adding/​improving the menu — Chicken parm is amazing and the chicken Caesar is too! Great friendly fast service. Delivery is always hot and quick

Had another great meal from mike & Maggie’s.. Had grill chicken hero with fresh mozzarella and tomatoes, garlic knots… great quality

Not bad, but 5 closer pizza spots I’d hit up before here. If I’m walking buy and hungry I’d grab a slice, but not making my way here over other places nearby.

Ordered broccoli pie. The broccoli was all huge chunks of undercooked broccoli STEMS! There was only 1 – 2 florets per slice. I could barely eat it. The pizza was very light on sauce and cheese. It was mostly bread. The chicken francaise was decent but the pasta on the side was undercooked with an under seasoned sauce (ie. tomato paste). There are much better choices in the neighborhood. Also they took 45 mins to deliver. I don’t understand the positive reviews. I think maybe their friends did many of the positive reviews.

Apparently you are not a pleasant person, it comes through in the food. Broccoli was undercooked. And huge chunks of Stems??? The pics don’t lie. See the white huge chunks of STEM? Unacceptable. Why did I not return? I am a very busy single mother of 2 and my toddlers are not going to wait for another delivery. $ 30 is a lot for us to spend on a dinner and I was so bummed. Instead of fighting your customers, maybe listen and make necessary changes.

When I order pizza I am not needing money back, I am needing dinner. I have been using Unilocal app for a few months. Mostly just for check ins. It’s how I found your business. And please, don’t be so dramatic. No one is trying to get a «lynch mob» after you. (Funny) I just didn’t like your pizza. Life goes on. Good luck to you.

We got the all vegetarian specialty pie. It took over an hour to come to a location that wasn’t far away at all. When we finally got it, it was soggy, completely devoid of any sauce and totally flavorless. I don’t know whether they were simply off on their game with this one, but between a terrible pizza and an unnecessarily long wait, they earned a 1 star. We’re never ordering from them again.

They delivered 20 minutes after I called. I’m so impressed. My father and sister were staying at a hotel and needed the pizza rushed and Mike & Maggie’s Pizzeria delivered super fast. I haven’t tasted the pizza but I’m happy with their delivery service and the girl answering the phone was very polite.

Delicious, delicious, delicious! I was in the area and looking for a quick bite to eat, and Unilocal brought me here! I can’t remember the exact name of the personal pizza I ordered, but it had ricotta cheese on it. It was fantastic!
The staff was super friendly, there was a young lady and man working in there that night. Nice atmosphere, good food!

Super nice and friendly staff. Great pizza with a crunchy yummy crust. They also have great prices! From now on this will be my go to pizzeria!

The best pizza In whitestone! Would give 5 stars but I can’t always order from them because they are cash only which is annoying. But the rare occasion I have cash at home I order from them

Just who are Mike and Maggie? I don’t know, but I sure would like to meet them!
First of all, they have churros. CHURROS. FOR A DOLLAR! Now I no longer have to wipe my tears with a tissue every time I reject The Churro Lady in the subway tunnel, because I can buy churros to my heart’s content at M & M! (With all due respect to The Churro Lady, I don’t want to buy anything inside of a dingy subway tunnel.)
But enough about that: Mike & Maggie’s is a local spot with delicious pizza. Although they can afford to be thicker, their Sicilian slices are like soft pillows for your tongue. I typically don’t go for Sicilians because I’ve had more than my share of bland and burnt slices, but theirs is excellent.
And they have churros. For a dollar.

M&Ms is a wonderful neighborhood pizzeria that offers above average pizza. More importantly the staff is great. No attitude and very attentive. M&M offers medium-​thick crust of freshly made pizza pies. I wasn’t very fond of the sauce because it was too acidic bu the end product was a very enjoyable slice of pizza.
